I’m a beginner hiker, but I can say I thoroughly enjoyed this trail and would definitely come back again. I would rate it moderate-easy. Not crowded at all. Great view. Short hike.

A great 1.5 trail 45 minutes away from NYC. It’s challenging at times, but gives you a fantastic view of Bear Mountain once you reach the summit. Well worth trying out for city folk looking for some nature. Also it wasn’t very crowded, unlike some other spots we saw along the way.
