Best in Woodbury! We like Chinese food and consistently find things to be the best. Their sesame chicken is their signature entrée. Great family run business.

We used to enjoy Yang’s. We have ordered for years. Food has been good. However, recently we noticed mistakes and lack of customer service. Today, we called in a takeout order and asked for vegetable fried rice. The gentleman on the phone said he could substitute fried rice for steamed rice OR we could order a vegetable fried rice. Not knowing there was a difference, we said to substitute for fried rice. We got gross fried rice that was nothing like what we have gotten for years. I called back, and the person at the counter couldn’t help me. I asked for the manager and got the owner. I explained my displeasure, and she argued with me, made excuses, and ultimately hung up on me. That is awesome customer service exemplified from the Top down. I think the Yang’s of yesteryear is gone. Solution: Dispute the credit card charge because we did not get what we ordered. Another miserable experience at Yang’s in 2016. Next time it is Duc’s! I really like their owner and fine customer service. They have great food. They are only 3 miles away, so I suggest you try them.

This was my first visit in probably 8 years. It was nothing like I remembered. I have been thinking longingly about the sesame chicken I used to get here. Sadly, I don’t think it exists anymore. The sesame chicken we experienced was over-fried. I ordered spice level 4. It was not spicy. At all. Wife had the Veggie Lomein. She said it was edible. The wontons were… meh. The wonton wrappers were thicker than I’m used to and there wasn’t much cream cheese. Sometimes, nostalgia punches you in the nose and laughs.

This is my new favorite! I was out at 9pm on a Saturday, I walked in not realizing they closed at 9. They took my take out order of Egg Rolls and fried rice, I said I had one errand to get done, he polite said we close at 9 so hurry back(there were still diners finishing up). I ran to BP, and came right back, my order was ready. When I got home and tasted the egg rolls, It was over. No other place in town compares! I went back Sunday, only to find they were closed. It’s the new go to place!

I grew up eating Yangs and have tried many different places to try to live up to the quality and taste you get when dining in or taking out from the Yangs establishment. Their eggs rolls and cream cheese wontons are second to none, and my go to is the pork fried rice. It’s not overly greasy or salty but flavorful and the perfect amount of grease for a normal day or post drinking meal. Leftovers reheat well and though they’ve increased their prices within the last couple years, are fairly priced.

My two co-workers could not speak highly enough of this place. Apparently it has been in the hood for quite some time. I offered to do a lunch run today and oh-so glad I did. I got the sweet and sour chicken lunchbox special. The chicken was all white meat and tender surrounded by nice sauce and lots of chunks of pineapple. The fried rice was delicious. This will now be part of my monthly Chinese fix–

I can’t even express. Never been unhappy with service, food or anything. Been here about 5 times now.

Terrible service, but good food. I would recommend takeout so you can avoid that. Had the egg flower soup, wontons, veggie deluxe and sesame chicken. All were good, but the poor service and really drafty restaurant overshadowed the food.

There is no better place to eat some authentic Chinese food than the one and only Yangs. My mouth turns straight into a waterfall when I hear the word sesame chicken from Yangs. I have a Chinese friend named Hao Ying and he practically lives there. He would agree that the food is about the same as the stuff in China. Chopsticks, forks you name it this delicious food can take it! If your worried about trying Chinese food for the first time this is the gateway to get into this food genre. I highly recommend this place. All bad reviews should be thrown to the dogs and and torn to pieces. Hi I’m Dean Bridgman and I approve this wonderful restaurant.

I would have given this five stars but Daniel Yang isn’t the head chef anymore. Empire Meal is easily the most underrated dish on the menu.

So I came in because another review referenced a lunch buffet, which is not the case. No buffet in sight. The first thing that hit me was the overwhelming smell of baby powder, almost like they wipe the tables down with baby wipes. The place itself is relatively clean, especially for a small hole in the wall and it’s décor is expectedly extremely dated. The older Asian lady that was taking my order took 4 reiterating of the same question to answer it for me. My question was, «what do you use to make the dishes spicy? Dry peppers thai peppers, chili peppers, etc etc» which she kept repeating«1−5» very frustrating. The hot and sour soup was very sour, and unless the hot refers to the temp it was just sour. My food as a whole was very americanized, uninspired, and really lackadaisical which was surprising because of the older awards on the wall. Come here again? Maybe, but not likely

Hard to get through on the phone so I was expecting it to be good. Loved the wontons! The lo mein was tasty! But I got chicken and bbqd pork and liked the chicken hands down better. My husband didn’t like the shrimp fried rice but the shrimps were at least a good size. And the beef with broccoli was very good as well!

The food is great, very Americanized. The sesame chicken and chow mein are definite recommendations. Prices are a little high and the quantities are limited, so you could get stuck with large sizes.

So so. I guess my definition of mushroom chow mein is different from what’s offered here.

Decent Chinese food for non-Chinese American. The quality is constant. I am bias because I have a high standard for Chinese food.

Overall, this is our favorite Chinese place in the Woodbury area. The vegetables are always fresh, crisp, and cooked just right. Meals are very flavorful and the prices are very reasonable. My only other comment would be that the fried rice is rather bland.

Embarrassing place with the lowest food quality. If there is 0 star, I will go for that… not going there ever again.

I love Yangs! I almost always get the sesame chicken but everything I’ve tried is pretty tasty. I kinda wish the fried rice packed more of a punch and the soup is meh. But still they know how to provide savory dishes cooked to perfection. It’s kinda old in the restaurant but cozy and the service is always good!
