OAKLAND GARDENS, NY

Went here today for a pedicure and color change on my silk wraps. Decent pedicure, nothing amazing. The lady was professional and friendly. Instead of just taking off the polish (a dark red) and putting a new color on, she cleaned up my cuticles, filed, buffed & used the drill a little to help remove as much red as possible. She did a great winter design (snowflakes) and took her time even though there were other customers waiting. I will probably return here.

I only get my eye brows done here. The girl that does them, Kelly. Is amazing! The place is really worn down and really dirty. The one time I got my nails done there, the manicurist killed a roach on the table. The nail polish they use seems watered down quite a bit and will chip in 2 – 3 days post manicure. The main thing I HATE about this place is the guy there, the owner is ALWAYS THERE SLEEPING ON THE COUCH it looks so unprofessional. I would suggest paying an extra 10 bucks and going somewhere else.

Excellent work and friendly staff. I always get my nails done here. I’ve been here near to closing time and they will still let people in. My husband came in once for a manicure for the first time in his life, and really liked it. During the weekend, like most places in NYC, it’s very busy but definitely worth the wait. This is the first nail salon I ever stuck with faithfully.
