Amanda’s Cleaners

We used to live in Woodinville and used Amanda’s cleaners all the time. We have since moved to Kenmore and still make the commute because of the great service they provide. There are a ton of other dry cleaners we could stop at on our way down Bothell Way but we don’t mind the commute, well worth it!

I noticed they had a review recently that was not very favorable, but that is not my experience in using this company. The person that did that review has obviously not used the services of many dry cleaners before. Well I have used dry cleaners since the 1980’s, and I can absolutely say with confidence that these guys are tops in their field. YES, you will have to pay more, but the quality you receive is excellent and consistent. Anyone who has experienced numerous dry cleaners will know what I am referring to. Go cheap if you like, but your clothes will pay for it eventually. We personally like our clothes to last as long as possible.

They advertised themselves as FRIENDLY…
Went there for the very first thing (lived in Woodinville for 6 years), was «greeted» by the male owner of the store with a less than friendly greeting. I asked to prepay for my cleaning but was told «No, we don’t do that, it will take me 30 mins just to let u prepay». Not a common courtesy of «thank you» when I ran to the car and got them hangers from my previous dry cleaning.
FIVE DAYS just for shirts to be ready. The lady today was actually polite and friendly. She gave me a bill total of $ 39.37 (!!! this is with a 10% discount) for 17 shirts! I asked her how much does she charged per shirt and she said $ 2.23 and then quickly corrected herself and said $ 2.53.
Seeing how the average cost per shirt in this area is $ 1.50 — this is most definitely over-​priced! I now understand why they don’t accept pre-​paid — with no pricing posted anyway, it’s like a death trap — shirts laundered, customers are now left with no choice but to pay their ridiculously high price! Yes, the shirts are neatly hung (I have yet to closely inspect them) but com’on this is not Medina!!! $ 1.00 more a shirt … be realistic! I am actually so appalled by their service that I am sure BBB will be interested to hear about them.
