Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf

Great place everyone is friendly. I have never had a bad experience. If I had one complaint about Coffee Bean is that since it is kosher, I do not get to satisfy my bacon cravings. Their egg potato wrap would be amazing with bacon! But that is more of a «me» problem isn’t it. I respect that they provide a kosher option for those who require it. The store itself is always clean and tons of space if you need to camp out. Music is not overwhelming so you can really get some work done. Now back to the staff, I have never had a rude run in here. EVER! They are always smiling and always hustling. I’ve been in here, when it is slow and everyone is cleaning and restocking. If they are busy they are all hands on deck! So in short, if you want a great customer experience, this is the Bean for you!

You’re better off jumping behind the counter and making a latté yourself, or just going without. This Bean suffers from debilitating inefficiency.

Yesterday at approximately 9:30 AM I went in for a very rude and humiliating experience. I stood in a rather long line and once I made it to the register, the cashier (Caucasian, beard and mustache, glasses and a baseball cap, approximately 25 to 30 years old) asked me what I wanted. I told him I had drank their Mexican Chocolate ice blended and was looking forward to trying their hot one. He asked if I wanted whip cream and I said yes.
Here’s where it went south. This moron steps back, walks over to the guy making drinks and just looks over his shoulder, walks back and as he approaches the girl behind me in line says all she wants is a banana, so the cashier reaches and grabs one and has to practically push past me to hand it to her and she does the same to pay. So I’m forced to step back all the time holding my card ready to pay. Then this bonehead says «Next customer» and the next person says to him «Are you going to ring him (Pointing at me) up?». The cashier raises and lowers his shoulders, rolls his eye and says «No, your next».
It took every fiber in my body to not go off on this idiot. I know the program having visited Coffee Beans all over the country including Maui and all he should have done was rung me up so I could go to the end of the bar and pick up my drink. All I wanted was a nice hot drink while Key’s Cadillac were servicing my car but NO I have to be embarrassed and humiliated for what ever reason this moron had. Knowing this idiot never rang me up, there was no drink coming my way. I’m a retail manager and I would at the least write this idiot up on a final if not fire his sorry ass.
Now I’m off to work to tell my customers to stay the hell away from this location.

Stopped in tonight after a Unilocal Elite event at Veggie Grill. Was craving an ice blended mocha. The two staff members working the evening shift were extremely friendly.
Hard to go wrong with the ice blended drinks. Very refreshing on a warm evening.
The interior space was very clean. Didn’t study the architecture or design of the interior as I normally might, but I like their location near the large water feature at the north end of the complex.
The central part of the space was one large table where patrons were on their laptops. Almost a had a study hall feel, which is a newer look at CBTL that is practical, but not necessarily visually appealing.
We sat outside in the adjacent area with Adirondack chairs, watching the water flow into the pond. Very relaxing.

I don’t normally frequent coffee shops in general because I don’t drink coffee, but their pineapple sweet blended ice beverage caught my eye, so I had to try it. It was OK.

I have never walked into this Coffee Bean and left without a smile and perfectly made drink. Yvonne seems to always be working. She has a great customer centric personality and even knows my name. But truly everyone is kind and helpful.

The staff here is incredibly friendly and make me feel very welcome. A few have even learned my name and greet me by it when I walk in. Alex & Yelena are the best!

The entire team here is amazing. It’s like one big family, both managers are extremely caring and always greet you when you walk in the door. I work at the Village and I see these folks daily, it’s such a nice feeling to always be greeted with a smile.
Alex, one of the Baristas is excellent and so are all the girls working there. Talia is so sweet and always recommends drinks for me. I honestly have had such a pleasant experience at this location that I come in frequently just to stop and say hi! Each person I’ve dealt with here has been a pleasure! Every employee smiles and makes me feel welcomed.
They’ve even talked to into the giftcard rewards program a few times.
They got me to get out of my comfort zone and try new teas and drinks, and if I didn’t like it, they’d swap it out. Truly amazing.
