I’ve been going to this location for over 20 years. The previous owners were not only the nicest people in the world, the food they prepared was top notch! Since the new owners took over, it has gone to garbage. Not only is the chow mien dry and overcooked, the rice is as well. They raised prices under the new ownership too. I don’t know if the front man is the owner or the manager but he is a rude prig. The past two times I’ve been there, for lack of any similar place in the vicinity, he has lied to me and used the bait and switch technique. As an example, I normally would get the family value pack. Tonight, I asked how much each quart cost, as I did not want the egg rolls or the soup. He told me they were $ 5.29. Taking him at his word, I ordered four quarts. He forgot to mention that price was only for chow mien and rice. I tried clarifying with him and he kept changing his story from what was actually said. Before leaving, he said that he would be happy if I didn’t come back. Hey, pal… METOO! I will be paying a little more and driving another couple of miles to not get aggravated while spending my money!

I’ve been going to this location since they opened and before that to their Northridge location at least once a week and sometimes two. The food is delicious, always fresh, and the owners are very kind. They remember their customer well and it always a pleasure going here. It’s our weekend tradition!

If the new owners would speak with the old owners, and bring back the old orange chicken recipe, I would imagine a surge in business would take place. I hope they read their reviews and give the people what they want!

For fast food Chinese, you can’t beat this place. The owners are sweet and do a great job with their food. I order online at . I agree with the other reviewer that I prefer them to Panda Express. Check them out and support your local entrepreneurs!

My husband and I absolutely love this place. The owners are super friendly, and always make us feel welcome there. And although is a small place, but they have a lot of selections. I would highly recommend people to give it a try. Yum Yum!!!

I love this family run quick Chinese food place. Great prices which is for food, not decorations. Don’t go there on a date! If you go during the meal times the food turnover is good so the food is great. I go to order the phở and wonton soup which is not on display at the buffet. Also they have fried whole tilapia fish for $ 5.99(but you should call in before you arrive to give them time to cook it). You can’t get that good of a price for a whole tilapia. I think there is new management too and they are friendly. You can pick items off their menu that is cooked-to-order fresh in pint or traditional quart size for much less than any usual Chinese restaurant. They have great prices on large banquet trays for about $ 28(about 5 quarts worth of food). I’m going to try to freeze meal-size portions and see if I can have the convenience of microwave or steamed chines food ! They also have brown rice !!

Lucky panda, is basically an authentic(better) version of Panda Express. I got two 2-item combos, a huge serving of hot and sour soup, and a can of soda for under $ 20 bucks. The servings were generous, and the food really hit the spot. This is the place to go if you’re craving some quick Chinese food.

This is mostly a cheap Chinese fast food restaurant with your buffet style counter. Definitely not for the refined taste buds. It’s for the quick fix when there is no other food source is around. Thankfully, it’s next to a Subway. I ordered the food, based on the recommendation from an eight year old, for a slumber party of eight year old girls. … I had a lot of leftovers. Let’s talk about the food, shall we? The vegetable chow mein, err lo mein, was composed of thick mushy noodles, with a couple of slivers of an onion, which gives it the vegetable distinction. The Mongolian beef was missing something… like… sauce. The orange chicken was pretty good. I think it’s its specialty. The egg fried rice was missing… flavor. As negative as my review might be, I would like to put it in perspective. The food is cheap; really cheap… for now and until they raise the minimum wage. On the positive, the guy behind the counter is really nice. For that, I wish him well.

Affordable. Tastes really good each time I went except once. Usually the meat isn’t crunchy and the rice isn’t fried to a crisp like Panda Express. I am usually pleased which is saying alot because I used to hate chinese food before coming here.

The food here is very affordable. You can get a 2 entrée plate with chow mein, fried rice and two main dishes for about $ 5.50 and 4 egg rolls for $ 1. And they really pack it on unlike Panda Express, so you definitely get two meals worth out of it. The food was pretty good too. If Panda Express was a 10 I would rate Lucky Panda an 8 or a 9. I had the Orange Chicken and Mushroom Chicken. Both really good. My boyfriend had Orange Chicken and Spicy Honey Chicken, and he didn’t like the Spicy Honey one quite as much, but it was still good. The service was also excellent. We were each offered two different samples to try and treated very courteously. No fortune cookies, but who cares?

Use to come to this place 10 yrs ago. Decided to go back last Sat. as i was in the area. I remembered how flavorful and juicy each piece of orange chicken was when I ordered it back then. IT was made from unfrozen dark meat chicken. Well, the location was right but i think the place must have changed ownership. The owner was very nice. Service was quick. Ordered the orange chicken and tempura chicken to go. The food was not what i remembered. The orange chix was dry despite the fact that it wasn’t over fried. The tempura chicken was not what i had expected. It was fried small strips of chicken in a panko breading and tossed in a spicy chili paste. Now. when did tempura become a spicy item? The price was pretty high too. $ 16.50 for 1 can drink and 2 quarts of chicken. I like my chicken moist so i don’t have any plans to go back.

My fiancée brought home lunch from here one day. It was, uh, ok, but definitely not anything I’d really consider good. I was craving some steam tray Chinese that wasn’t Panda Express and stopped here a couple of months later and I walked out before I was even greeted. This place very obviously has very few customers so food just sits and sits and sits. They get the problem of too much waste by making very small amounts of it at once, but it just makes it look sadder, a small mount of kung-pao chicken getting more and more shriveled and sad looking as it dries out in the steam tray. In a way, this is a problem with most fast food Chinese in the valley. What should be a varied and viable lunch option is confined to well trafficked Panda Express outlets and mediocre food courts in the mall. Maybe it’s not a viable business model here, in the land of tiny parking lots and convenient drive throughs, but damn it, it should be. Either way, whatever the reason, should you find yourself in this parking lot, skip this place and go next door to El Tapatio instead.

I love getting the beef Phở and the Won Ton soup. If you ever have a cold, this stuff works wonders. Staff is very friendly as well. I’ve been going there for 6 months now. It’s also cheap! Can’t beat that!

ill keep this short and simple. its a Chinese fast food place like panda express. A 2 item combo will cost you about 6 dollars and will definitely fill you up. its is definitely a take out place. but has fast food style seating. Parking is often hard because they share 16 some odd parking spaces with 7 other stores, so park in the back for EZ access. I come here about 2 times a month for lunch and haven’t had a bad lunch yet.
