We were looking for a spot to host 20 ladies for my mom’s birthday and even during the insanely packed holiday season Paoli’s was extremely accommodating to us! Instead of making us book a table inside and committing us to a set price menu for each guest, they offered us the FULL front patio(very roomy, heated) so we could just order whatever we wanted off the menu for everyone. Service was fantastic, drinks strong, and the karaōke was popppppin. Also the inside décor was a lot of fun — this is definitely a Valley gem. Thanks Paoli’s!

I’ve lived in Woodland Hills over 5 years now, have always driven by this place, but never stopped in. I had some friends visiting from out of town, the bar we were at had just closed & it looked like everyone was having a great time at Paoli’s so we decided to go in. They were having karaōke, we got there pretty late so we didn’t even attempt to sign up to sing, but everyone in my group had fun watching everyone else.

Haven’t been to Paoli’s in years as we moved to San Diego. Just happen to be in the area today so decided this was perfect opportunity to stop and pick up a delicious pizza we so remember they have. Looked up on their website and Unilocal and said they opened at 4:30. Perfect. We were there at 4:30 and guess what? They are closed and don’t open till 5:30. Can’t wait around so left without getting anything. So bummed. Why don’t you change your website to be the correct time?

Went here recently on a whim on a Sat night because the bar next door was closed. It was so incredibly loud and crowded… guaranteed way more people then allowed in their space. Trying to get a drink was a joke. There was 1 bartender and a girl behind the bar doing who knows what because she wasn’t able to take drink orders. I had to ask for my bill more then once and the bartenders response was…“oh I’m sorry I’m the asshole.” Then rudely gave it to me which I don’t even think The bill Was correct because it was way more then what I ordered. The service was so slow and horrible. I would never go back nor recommend to Anyone.

This used to be my Dad’s favorite place in the 20 years before he passed away. I think he always knew he could get some basic spaghetti and meatballs when his wife was working late or away on business, listen to the piano music, and be treated kindly. The rest of the family has dined here sporadically over the years, albeit I have personally only been there one nite in 2014 for karaōke after a birthday party. We tried it Friday nite; dinner for four. The appetizers came before the wine, which was odd, and the antipasto was not dressed. When we asked for dressing, it took so long that our entrée salad plates showed up before the antipasto dressing. We ended up just taking most of the salads in a doggie bag. The sausage and peppers app wasn’t enjoyed by the person who ordered it, and said it definitely wasn’t what he remembered from previous visit 2 years back. the unlimited garlic cheese rolls were a hit. The Shrimp Fettucine was large, and lots of big shrimp, but they seemed to be overcooked. The Ravioli with Meat Sauce(mine) was average. The rest of the meals were marginal, and they don’t have a website to help me remember what they even were. The waiter struggled a bit, but he was clearly doing his best with the poor timing from the kitchen. Once the piano player started up, it was a lot more enjoyable. The prices are pretty standard for what you get.

Nope, nope, and triple nope. I went here because it is one of my friend’s standby restaurants in Woodland Hills. We came here on karaōke night and, in all honesty, it started the night off on a sour note(à plus d’un titre). The karaōke was extremely loud, way too loud for that space. It overpowered everything else that was going on in the restaurant. The crowd that it attracted was unprofessional, obnoxious, and aggressive. But enough about the crowd, since they’re not really the fault of the restaurant. The service here was some of the slowest I’ve encountered; this revelation was especially sad because only about half of the people in the restaurant were eating. We sat down in the back corner, about as far away from the karaōke as we could get. It took forever for the waitress to take our drink order, insisting on only taking the drinks before waiting a very long time to come back to take our food order. My friend swears by a particular type of white sauce pizza, and I have to say that it was actually pretty good. However, my shrimp fettuccine alfredo was not. The sauce was incredibly thick and bland; it was gooped on in a fairly unappealing way, disappointing multiple senses at the same time. I hate bringing price into reviews(I paid how much and only got this?), but here it really did seem like their«approaching $ 20» prices were way too high, especially for something simple. Oh yeah, and don’t let me forget about the salad. It was mostly dressing. Right, mostly dressing. Had I known that, I would have asked for the dressing to be left off. I had to wade through a layer of the world’s thickest bleu cheese dressing, scraping it off of pieces of lettuce in order to be able to consume them without being overwhelmed by the dressing. This, to me, is utterly ridiculous. It makes me worry that they’re trying to hide something(perhaps the lettuce, tomatoes, etc. were not fresh?). Did I mention that we were asked to move tables before our food came out? When I asked for an explanation, I was ignored. More accurately, I probably wasn’t heard over the karaōke. Oh well, we moved anyway. The music wasn’t that much louder, but it was noticeable. Anyway, after our nearly 2-hour meal(including a very extended waiting period after our dishes had been cleared before the check appeared), my friend gave the waitress very explicit instructions on how to split the bill. Unfortunately, this was completely fouled up(probably due to the extreme volume of the karaōke). When I approached her about reversing the charges, she said that it was impossible(I can understand this, but I wish she had taken more care to think about what we wanted to charge initially). I can understand how this atmosphere can appeal to some, but it simply isn’t for me. I don’t enjoy eating bland food while rowdy, drunken bros jockey for the karaōke binder next to me. It’s just not what I consider to be a good time at all.

Worst fucking place in my life. It was my first time here they kicked me out while I was eating my fucking food and threw the check on the table saying pay up. And the bouncer tried to fight me, my mom and my younger brother. Then the fucking stupid blonde bitch waitress came and said next time I’ll charge you gratuity don’t ever come back. Fuck your bar, fuck your waitress, fuck your shit service, fuck your $ 4 cup of ice, fuck your bouncer, fuck your entire restaurant, & your shitty food ;)

Paoli’s is a great time for a night of delicious food and great karaōke. It is a little pricey, and kind of crowded. We had a wonderful time, but can’t afford to do it often.

Paoli’s is my go to place for the best deep dish pizza I’ve ever had outside of Chicago. It is outstanding! When I am craving it, nothing else will suffice. I was having said craving last night. I waited anxiously for the appropriate opening hour to call and place my order. The only negative I have is that Paoli’s recently changed their hours of operation but neglected to post the change on Unilocal.Yikes! I stopped by after calling several times, only to find the store shuttered. I managed to wait patiently for an hour, which is difficult to do when hungry and craving. When they did open, the nicest young woman came out to my car to take my order. Such excellent service! Jenny was alone, having to set up the bar and restaurant by herself, and staff the restaurant alone until 8pm. That means waiting tables, seating guests and tending bar by herself! Even when faced with a hectic evening ahead, Jenny was amazing. She was very friendly, chatting with me and another customer while we waited for our orders. She had a smile on her face, and was incredibly nice. Hats off to Paoli’s for the fantastic pizza and a big thank you to Jenny. Great job!

Best pizza in Los Angeles hands down. I live about half an hour away from here and will drive to eat their pizza… the closest thing to MidWest pizza i have found in all the years i have been here. The Climax pizza is to die for, Their sausage is made in house. Stuffed mushrooms and sausage and peppers are delicious. A real Italian treat that is lacking in much of LA

This place I’m not so sure of. I think it depends on the kind of company you bring with you. It’s a small place that fills up quickly on the weekends and is more of the 30+ crowd. I like that they have the dueling pianos, fun karaōke, and they play 70’s and 80’s music as well. As for the food, I wasn’t that impressed. I had ordered the chicken wings but then was later told they were s/o, so I got the sausage and peppers which weren’t that great. Be warned if you come with a party of 6 or more they automatically add gratuity. Your parking options are the street(free after 8pm) and the back lot is small, plus if you park in the wrong spot you can get your car towed.

The pizza is good here, but I don’t know what’s going on with their staff & service… Last night my husband and I went there around 7:30 for dinner, someone seated us, and 15 minutes in, no server, not even a bartender around to take our order. The whole time we were sitting there, there was nobody around that worked there. It was a bit frustrating, so we left. Then tonight, we were still craving pizza, so we decided to call them to place an order for pickup. The person that answered said hang on and put the phone down. We thought she was just going to get a pen and paper to write down our order. We were on hold for over 10 minutes before we frustratingly hung-up. Really!!! I’m wondering how much business they’re losing from not having enough staff… it seems like they only have one person. :/

This place is a diamond in the rough. It deserves five stars for so many reasons. It has the the vibe of a dive bar coupled with a warm/welcoming family-friendly environment. I was pleasantly surprised to see a family gathered for a kid’s birthday party(even the kids were doing karaōke). The place is cozy, with low ceilings, and low lighting– like something you’d see in an Italian mafia film. You can sit at the bar or choose table seating. The karaōke DJ was awesome, the clientele – TODIEFOR. The food was decent, and the customer service was great. My friends and I happened upon this place by accident, because the place we had a Groupon for closed early. But I will make Paoli’s a mandatory stop when I go to LA from now on. LOVE.

Before I start writing about my first experience, I must mention that some of these negative reviews are very questionable. Moving on… It was a slow Monday night, but there were some really passionate singers, including myself, there. The karaōke host David was very friendly. The blond lady at the bar was also very friendly and efficient. Their pizza is very competetive as far as the quality and taste go! I want to come back on a busier night, like Friday, and see how the karaōke is then. 4 Stars for now Will re-write review soon

The owner literally kicked us out for no reason at all. Yelled, «You need to leave» because she«had people coming», which there was no reservation notice of. This was after we graciously complied the first time that she requested of us to change tables. We didn’t even know who she was or why we she wanted it done, we just courteously agreed to do this woman that favor and got our things. However, that«empty» table we were to move to, became re-occupied by the original party, after we heard them tell her that they were not yet ready to leave. So we then returned to our original table. 10 minutes later, the woman came back over and ordered us to move to that table again because she had people coming. This time it was now officially empty because those same paying customers left, after being forced to get up and give up their table at her command. This second time around her approach was so ill-mannered and hostile, it made us feel uncomfortable and disrespected. My friend told her so, and that’s when she she yelled, «YOUNEEDTOLEAVE I AMTHEOWNER.» She claimed her name was Claudia(a woman between 65 – 75 with short platinum blonde hair). I can understand if she did not appreciate our business or respect the experience we hoped to enjoy in coming, or the $ 50 we spent having only been at the table 20 minutes, but we didn’t deserve to be treated as if we were less than human.

This place was cool to watch people pour their hearts out on their favorite song. Seems like a lot of out of towners come here for a fun night and just be free. Not sure how good their food is but we’ll probably come back to check it out some more. I gave it a 3 star because they try to charge us $ 50 for 2 drinks(beer and a mixed drink) and had to fight over it.
