I am definitely making this my go to Sushi place. It isn’t big. Very small and intimate environment. Fills up fast. Menus are easy to read. Happy hour deals are great. Sushi was also delicious. And service was good.

This place is amazing! My fiancé and I have been coming here for years and every time, everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The fish has a juicy, succulent and vibrant flavor and the chefs always cut huge pieces. The taste is always consistent and I love how I can tell the chef which fish I want and they’ll suggest something. They do custom rolls and are honest when I ask if something is fresh that day. I’ve been eating sushi all my life and this is by far the best place that I’ve been to. Awesome food! Awesome people! Awesome location and awesome chefs!

Sushi planet is our favorite sushi restaurant in Calabasas. Great food, reasonable prices, friendly servers. Ask for the server that looks like Macklemore, he’s fantastic!

this place is good, but there is a big sign that has specials on it and in really small letters there is an «S» we ordered the black truffle thinking we were getting the special and the waiter failed to tell us that the sushi was the special and we ordered the sashimi. After we got the check he was completely rude about the fact that we were mistaken and didn’t even care to acknowledge that he was mistaken when we ordered and all he asked was sushi or sashimi (knowing we pointed at the sign) aka wanting the special.
after we saw the price we expressed our concerns he said «come on guys, you should know sashimi is more expensive then sushi»
and didn’t apologize until he saw me open the Unilocal app.

This is our families favorite meal out. Always great sushi and service. Nat the owner always makes you feel special and eveyone that works there is incredible about remembering just what you like. A true neighborhood gem!!!

The touch down role is Amazing!!! Blue hand crab roll and baked hand crab roll is also very good. Love this little neighborhood spot. If your in Calabasas or the Hills of Woodland, check it out!

Do yourselves a favor and DO NOT (I repeat, DO NOT) come here! The pictures on the menu are a misrepresentation of what is actually given – sushi falls apart easily and each cut roll is smaller than what you would find with sushi bought from Ralphs (surprisingly decent) and/​or Trader Joes’s (nothing to rave about but much better than Sushi Planet).
We came here for dinner and left slightly hungry and unsatisfied.
Came here for happy hour, it wasn’t anything worthwhile. And the drink I wanted to try, they were out of ALL the flavors (sake martinis). So, gentleman stood there and recommended for me to get a whole bottle of the sweet sake (which twice the price of what I was interested in) when I just wanted A drink.
Haven’t been this unsatisfied for a while.
Needless to say, we won’t be back… Yikes!
