I will go out of my way to give credit where credit is due. This store consistently gives excellent service for the last several years I have been shopping here.
Staff is friendly, and helpful without being obtrusive. Carol and the staff took time to take care of my needs and they delivered on their promise.
This store continues to earn my business and I will share this positive experience to my friends. Keep up the good work!

I have been a loyal Tommy Bahama buyer for many years. I was so excited to see the Topanga Canyon store open. I decided to buy a pair of shoes there several months ago. Sadly, after just two months the shoes showed excessive wear and began to fall apart. I took the shoes back and was told by a sales clerk that there is nothing they can do. It was my fault because these shoes are for driving only and not meant to be worn every day. What a pile of crap. I told them that I was never told that when I bought the shoes and paid a very nice premium price. I told them that I will now buy all my shoes at Nordstrom since they stand behind their products. Had I bought the same shoes at Nordstrom, I am certain that they would have taken them back. I learned a valuable lesson. This store may be good for shirts and pants but definitely not shoes.

I’m giving this location 5 stars. Why? Interesting experience as both an internet and retail shopper. With the holidays coming up, I had received a special offer from Tommy Bahama’s headquarters. If you shop this store at least once during the year and you request to be added to their mailing/​internet database, well, you’re likely to recieve the same year-​end offer as well.
I like quality clothes to start with, and their clothes last forever and never go out of style. You’ve got to be thinking that your purchases here are an investment. I’m also more conscious of my time these days and high gas prices, so internet shopping (and free shipping) keeps me more efficient.
Long story short, I found the items I wanted online. I called this store and spoke to Mario. He described the material, the fit (lots of styles to choose from so you and your man will look your very best), and recommendations. He knows the company’s merchandise like the back of his hand. Really, you could hear the passion in his speak. So, too with his manager, Allison. She happily explained that they are there for the ultimate customer experience as a team… and not the commission?!
I’ve been a fan for at least 3 years — visiting their stores (and restaurants) throughout the US. This one stands out based on the best customer experience EVER in Tommy Bahama world! Stop by and see for yourself. Ask for Mario or Allison. Just don’t be surprised if you walk out happier and more fulfilled than when you walked in!
