1^st time there. Food was spectacular. Great groupon find. Great service. Couldn’t be more at tentative yet unobtrusive. Maria the waitress was the best. I wish I took pics of the meals. Great presentations. You won’t be disappointed

Just wanted some pasta & thought we’d drop into Lorenzo’s since we hadn’t been in awhile.
— Caesar salad was plentiful
— Salad (on specials menu) with pear, Gorgonzola & walnuts was good
That’s why the restaurant is getting one star.
The meal should have ended there.
— Penne vodka with mushrooms & peas; peas were missing after waiter specifically asked if they were desired, sauce was thick, ate about ¹⁄₃ of it
— Rigatoni bolognese; sauce tasted old, was dry & clearly reheated once too many times
— One glass of wine, one mixed drink
Left $ 95.00 on the table. Should have left when we noted that basic pasta dishes are $ 15-​$ 16

Only reason I’m giving two stars is because the food is good. However when the bill came we saw it was more than expected because they already added the gratuity of 20%. How insane. Funny because I read reviews and saw they did this to another customer

Called an hour before they closed, they didn’t even answer the phone just because they were not trying to make any deliveries. no voicemail or nothing. horrible service.

Im a regular here with my family unit. The food is good and we always have a good experience. There is always a Groupon for this place so take advantage of that. They have a liquor license.

Never been to Lorenzo’s. Used a Groupon. Came in the side door off parking lot to an entranceway that looked a bit «off» in appearance. Maybe used to pick up takeout? Anyway once in the restaurant, everything fine. Not a fancy place which was fine for us. Waitress very sweet. Pizza and veal both enjoyable. The restaurant filled up quickly. We would go back.

BAD BAD BAD!!! NEVER GO TO LORENZO’S!!!
They cheat their customers by writing in a 20% tip for a party of two without any warning on the menu or posting in the restaurant. The waiter was rude argumentative and incompetent. He did not understand the menu and when I asked him why he added the 20% tip he told me that it is because the customers are cheap tipping little to nothing at all. This comes as no surprise.
When I inquired with the manager he smirked smugly and said he had already ran the card (before I signed the check). As if it was too bad for me because he was charging me anyway. It was only after I said i would dispute the charge with the credit card company that I got any consideration.
Its been about a year since the new owners took over the previous owner Lorenzo must of left because he never would of treated his customers this way. What a shame this used to be a good restaurant.

My boyfriend and I wanted to check out Lorenzo’s because we moved to a town about 15 minutes away and found it on Groupon. First off, totally don’t need to groupon to enjoy the place. The prices are completely reasonable and the food is very tasty. You cannot BYOB on the groupon (for those of you checking out this place with the interest of purchasing the groupon). No harm no foul, they have a bar if you want to have a drink while enjoying your evening. Anywho– the portions are what you’d expect at an Italian restaurant. Nice family style atmosphere. It’s a bit ‘off the beaten path’ but a pleasant surprise once you get there; clean, friendly, and homey. They serve most entrees with a choice of side of pasta or salad, I went for the salad both times I’ve been here (once without groupon so you know it was a pretty good spot). Boyfriend, however, ordered the pasta. The pasta comes on the side of your entrée with red sauce which is nice but not what I would prefer (he didn’t mind at all). If I’m ordering chicken francese for example, I’d want the pasta under the chicken so the pasta is within the francese sauce. Probably something you can request without any fuss but an interesting standard they use without asking preference so I figured I’d mention. I’ve ordered their pasta broccoli rabe sausage dish, which was quite impressive. I’ve also ordered their veal with artichoke and roasted red peppers which was also very tasty but not as impressive at the pasta dish I’ve had previously (which might be due to the fact that I’m a carb freak at heart!). We’ve tried special appetizers, such as the crab stuffed artichokes which were very good! We also ordered their sweet teriykae calamari, not my favorite style since I like to classics but my boyfriend enjoyed it very very much. I’d recommend this place for anyone looking for Italian in the area with or without the groupon. I’m sure my boyfriend and I will be back when we are craving Italian and I’m too exhausted to cook. Nice job Lorenzo’s.

As the holidays approach we are all searching for the perfect «little place» to eat. Well this is it! Lorenzo’s offers a great atmosphere and the food is simply scrumptious and affordable. Reservations are definitely recommended

I went here for the first time again in years. I haven’t been here in maybe 3 4 years. That is because I always ended up going to places closer to me in Montville Township. So I was there last night with family and it was slightly different then I remember it. Then again things do change over time. The staff was attentive which was good. The food was good proportions however the prices did go up a little. Another good thing is that we didn’t have to wait long for anything. the waitress asked us right away for drinks and if we were ready to order, the food came out at a fast pace… service was good. seems fancier then I remember as well.
the owners check in with the tables as well which is nice to see at some places. shows they like to see how there business is doing in front of there eyes.

Went there because of a groupon deal, man am glad we did! Everything was good! Really good! All I’m saying is go there and you will not be disappointed! We had pizza, appetizer, salad, lasagna everything was soooo good! Sauce is right on! Everything is Sooo reasonably price. Definitely a woodland park gem!

I can speak for a few different occasions here — coming with a Groupon and without, and ordering delivery! And all times in-​house — the service, the food, and the overall experience was EXACTLY the same. This is one of very few restaurants who appreciate their Groupon customers as much as their regulars.
Each entrée comes with YUMMY bread and salad. And the portions are fairly big. I’ve always had to take home!
Last time I went with my boyfriend, we ordered two glasses of Cabernet. (We usually drink a couple glasses of red wine with dinner). And without asking, our waitress brought over a small carafe and said «here, it’s the same price as two glasses, and you get more!» NO restaurants do that anymore. We really appreciated the thought she put into it because we were going to order the second glass anyways.
I’ve never had a bad meal here — even the delivery comes fresh and hot. It’s consistent, and absolutely delicious. Get the chicken cooked under a brick and the shrimp scampI! NOM!
This place is great for a date, for Sunday dinner, or for a group celebration. One of my new faves! :)

Everything in this establishment is excellent from the food to the service. …reminds me of dinner at my grandparents house… highly recommended

Last time we went to Lorenzo’s was about three years ago. The Veal Parm had gristle in it and was terrible. The Zuppa De Pesce had a spoiled fish taste. Got a Groupon and decided to try again. When the waiter came over I asked to speak to the owner concerning my last experience about the food. Carlos, the waiter, came back and told me that the owner was too busy to talk to me about what happened. PS — My wife and I were the ONLY people in the restaurant !!!
The food we got that day was very good but since the OWNER does not value his customers we are giving it a low rating.

Very good place. We came bc we had a groupon and we will def be back to try more items. My bf had the chicken parm and said the quality was excellent. I had the chicken scarp which was fantastic. We also had the fried calamari as an app and it was pretty good. We were a little disappointed that it didn’t have the tentacles. The Caesar salad is also very crisp and I really liked the creamy dressing.

Everything from this place tastes great. Also, delivery is very fast!

My husband and I saw a groupon for this place and decided to give it a try…
We went on a Tuesday night and it wasnt packed but there was a few tables taken.
They bring warm crispy bread with butter. we asked the waiter if we can have olive oil. he brings us back a dish with olive oil seasoned with salt/​pepper and Parmesan cheese. NICE TOUCH!
We started with the fired calamari. it was good.
I had chicken milanese. The chicken was fresh and not frozen. it was tender and juicy and the salad on top was fresh and crisp.
My husband had the chicken parm w/​pasta… he said it was good

Have been here a few times in the past. Decided to go in on New Years Day with the family. Decent to bring larger groups. The food was good. The only draw back was everyone was served staggered, meaning at different times. The chicken parm was very good as well as the fried calamari. pretty much your basic North Jersey family spot. Also affordable

Tried this place with a coworker a few times for take out at work and the food was pretty good.
Little local spot tucked away in West Paterson (woodland park) that’s literally off the radar. I wouldn’t even known this spot was here if it weren’t for my coworker.
I tried this place a few times and chicken parm was pretty good, Italian hero also pretty good. The pizza I’m sort of biased on because the times we ordered it was later and they said «we have no slices» so I was forced to order a personal pie which is kind of pricey especially when you just want a slice, not 4. Sandwiches and dinners seemed fair priced and pretty good for the area.

Fantastic chicken Parm Sandwich! They also have some great ooey gooey pizza. The pizza is really cheesy and rich tasting.
