I am disappointed in my visit last night. Arrived at 7pm with my son(4) for a special ‘breakfast for dinner’ outing. We were quickly seated, orders taken and drinks served. Friendly staff. Then our server disappeared. For 45 minutes. No food delivered. Eventually I caught the eye of another server who asked if everything was ok. He went to the kitchen and eventually came back saying that something happened to our order in the kitchen and they were just starting to cook our food. He apologized. A bit later our server returned with drinks and said our food would be up in a minute. Upon bringing our food he said that for some reason the printer in the kitchen didn’t print our ticket.(Others seated after us had been served long before us). He quickly brought us our check bc he could tell I needed to leave soon as my son was nearing meltdown mode as it was approaching bedtime. Yep eating there was a mess bc he used up all his patience while we waited and then the tears started once the food arrived.(I note that the check was printed at 8. Right after food arrived. Nearly 45 min after we ordered) When we paid the cashier asked how it was and I stated not something great as our food didn’t come out. She said that they’d been having issues with the computer. While all of these kids were nice and they did say sorry, they did not try to make things better. No manager was called/notified. And no compensation offered for the inconvenience(not that they had to, but it would have been a nice gesture). Also, a little better training of staff on the importance of keeping tabs on their tables and the time of tickets submitted. While waiting I saw how devoid of staff the eating area was. If any diner had needed anything, it would take awhile to be able to find someone to notice. It wasn’t busy. It was a Friday night at IHOP. The servers just kept hanging out in the kitchen/back or up at the front/host stand. Had my server been around, he would have been able to notice earlier that our order hadn’t come up yet. And should def be paying attention if the computers are a known issue. Disappointed.

Was at this IHOP location on a busy Sunday morning with family of 4 and a friend. Not sure why most are giving a «thumbs down»? Maybe with previous negative reviews management effectively reacted and took positive action??? The service and staff were excellent and went beyond my expectations. We were greeted nicely by the host. Waiting time was about 15 to 20 minutes. The restaurant is very clean and orderly. Our server, Jason, was very prompt and courteous. He took our order for drinks and food, which all came out exactly as we requested. Food was excellent quality, hot, and good portions. We were not rushed and felt comfortable the entire time we were there. The pancakes were delicious. I had the Blueberry, and others had Strawberry & Banana, and old fashioned along with eggs of different orders, sausage, toast, coffee, orange juice etc. When you go here, if you’re expecting or anticipating«The Capital Grill» with white table cloths and 3 servers, you’ll be setting yourself up for disappointment. Instead, think of a more relaxed environment with good coffee, delicious fruity pancakes, eggs, bacon, ham and hash browns and friendly service!

Hostess was rude. I asked to speak to a manager the same hostess stood there scowling at me. She talked under her breath about my family in ear shot then and I quote I’m not seating those people. Manager asked what she can do to fix it give us a discount no how about this send your employee home if she can’t be professional or better yet make her do dishes

Very disappointed, it’s Ramadan and brought my family here for a meal before fasting for the day. Got in at 2:30, it’s 3:15 now and still no food at the table. I can’t eat after sunrise Server states only one cook in the back and it’s not very busy. Management takes the fall for this… unacceptable! I will add that the staff on the floor is extremely polite and doing their best to keep patrons happy. There’s something wrong with a restaurant when they have to wait one hour for food after ordering
