I dont understand why this place has such a high rate. It is just a normal restaurant，and the price is high. Do not recommend.

I just finished eating their Korean steak sandwich AND their omelette and wow five minutes later (I devoured it) here I m here writing a review ’cause it was that good. Their delivery was super fast but I’m planning on physically going there tomorrow and check out the place.

Lovely small restaurant with great food! Came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning with some friends. We got here at eight and probably overstayed our welcome chatting until noon since it was Thanksgiving weekend and foot traffic was light. Nevertheless the hostess Sandra was super nice and accommodating and made us feel right at home.
Food-​wise, I got the steak and eggs (medium and scrambled) plus sweet potato fries for the table. Hands off to the sweet potato fries! Crispy but soft on the inside– a must have. The steak was seasoned with salt and pepper and tastes marinated. The steak itself is thin, it was more medium well side, but the perfect seasoning made up for the texture. The scrambled eggs were fluffy but the yolk and white part was still distinguishable. It’s just to my taste but not sure if this is your traditional scrambled eggs.
Loved the place, the staff, and the food. Would visit again if I’m in this neighborhood!

Great for Brunch!!! Wish we had more nice café/​restaurants like this in sunnyside/​woodside. I usually order their menu on seamless, but today my husband & I wanted to check out the place. It’s a really cute café, clean & cozy, great service & the food is amazing! Not many places in the area like this. I definitely recommend checking them out! Stop by for brunch, or if you lazy like me, you can order their menu on seamless! Either way, customer service is excellent & so is the food!

Great place, great food for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. Steak and egg is the best and my favorite. Strongly recommend.

Came to this place solely based on the great reviews. Too bad I had a poor experience. I came brunch time. I asked for an espresso or cappuccino; all they had was coffee. I asked for orange juice; was handed a plastic cup with juice that I believe to have been made from very old oranges. I tried to return it, & they wouldn’t accept that because I already took a sip of it. So I paid for a drink that I left full on the table after I left (hope they got the message).
I ordered the Mac Queen breakfast sandwich. Every layer of it was greasy. Only ate half, afraid to eat the rest & feel ill from too much grease.
For a place with an extensive breakfast menu, I expected better than this.

AMAZING FOOD! I don’t usually write reviews but I had to for this one. It’s a neighborhood gem and every single menu I’ve tried tasted great, especially their pastas and salad. Sandwich and breakfast menu is also amazing. I hope this place will stick around for a long, long time!

An hour and a half now, and still no food. All I ordered were two sandwiches and a coffee. They claim 30 – 40 minutes for delivery. When I called to find out where my food was, all I got was «it should be there soon.» Major fail.

second time coming here and I tried the omlette with different items– goat cheese, mushroom, asparagus. Very good. I tried tiramisu. It is very fresh. A different touch with ice cream rather than mascarpone cheese. I like this place for a nice weekend breakfast.

The worst is the broccoli dish yuck!!! I don’t know why people like it. It’s soooo unhealthy!!!

It’s Saturday, and I’ve been a bum all day, it was 7:13 pm and I was craving breakfast food, yet I want delivered. I didn’t want anything from the usual diner, so I look through my mountain of menus and came across café con amor’s menu. I then did my Unilocal research while my stomach was growling like a bear and I order online directly via their website. First thing I love is that for first timer orders they give you $ 5 off!!(code:FIRSTTIMER) I order french toast, a side of bacon and eggs over easy, coffee, broccoli salad, and tiramisu. (don’t judge me… lol) Delivery man arrives in 22 minutes (estimated was 35) thank goodness!!! I tear open the bag of food and one thing I notice immediately is its packaged perfectly, this may be a no brainer. but I’ve had TONS of food spill when taking out or delivered. I start with the eggs & bacon… perfectly prepared, bacon is crisp but not brittle, and eggs are perfectly crispy around the edges, and nice runny yolk. Now the french toast I was a bit hesitant to try, because i could tell it was prepared on grill. I usually have cooked on a griddle. and I’m very traditional (picky) about my breakfast foods, I assumed it was going to be dry. I was very wrong!!! The french toast had a slight crispiness on the outside and very soft and pillowy inside. Even the coffee was perfectly smooth. At this point I’m pretty full, but I’ve gotta have at least a forkful of the broccoli salad to try… well one forkful turned into half the serving… its that good. The tiramisu is good, as well, surprisingly light, just wish it had a little bit more of a stronger coffee/​espresso flavor.
Overall, I have nothing but love for Café Con Amor, food is fantastic, and prices are very reasonable. I cant wait to order again!

Lovely place for quick yet awesome dishes! Workers are pretty friendly. Pricing is super reasonable. Not your place if you’re looking for somewhat a fancy place. This place is for awesome food priced reasonably.

Great food and friendly staff. The décor is very simplistic and clean. I highly recommend the pancakes with strawberry and bananas.

I have no idea how good the food is since I waited over an hour and 15 for delivery of two burritos that never showed up. When I called to complain about the wait, they said the delivery person «got confused» and our food was… Well not here, that’s for sure. Who knows where it is.
They offered to deliver again for free… but then said that it would be another hour wait! Way to put in the hustle to fix your mistake. No burrito is worth waiting 2 and a half hours for. Sucks, because I’m new to the neighborhood and was really excited about this place, given the high ratings. They’d get zero stars from me if I could.

I usually don’t write bad reviews unless I really feel like I was treated inappropriately, and that’s not the case here. However, I tried this place last night and it really was one of the worst takeout meals I’ve had in awhile — and I feel like that warrants some discussion.
My order was pretty simple; I ordered the Nacho plate, a breakfast burrito, and a soda. The nacho plate was hands down the worst I think I’ve ever had from anywhere. The tortilla chips were awful. Almost had a consistently like doritos, not like corn chips. They were soggy — which happens, I get it – but they also had this really strange sweet flavor to them. Almost like a sugary, even cinnamon-​y kind of taste. I don’t know if this was a mistake or this is how they come, but I was very disappointed. I couldn’t even finish them — and these are Nachos we are talking about! I always finish Nachos.
The burrito looked nothing like a burrito, actually looked more like a torta. It was kind of messy and the eggs were a bit spongey.
The delivery was great, though. The guy was lightning fast and really nice. Too bad about the meal. I saw all these reviews and was really expecting something better.

Delicious food. Chillaquiles w/​Hanger Steak was amazing. I am sure all the other selections are as good or better. Visiting out of town, but this would be a regular spot to visit if I was a local.

Had breakfast here the other day, food is freshly made (: ! They have real orange juice they make. Its the first time if seen the place, came to see how the restaurant looked in person. Very tiny yet comfortable at the same time. Me and my friend were the only ones in the place so we felt like the food was cooked extra nice for us lol.

I came to this small café for brunch with the girlfriend while waiting for some car service to be completed nearby on Northern.
We shared a breakfast burrito and a smoked salmon eggs benedict. The guacamole that came with the burrito was friggin’ delicious! I swear they put crack in it. The eggs benny was pretty good and was served with home fries. The coffee was hot and fresh and free refills were offered.
The service was friendly but I think the waitress was new.
I’d definitely recommend it for a nice breakfast/​brunch!
