Watch out for data breach when using payment cards at this store. Managers do not admit there is a problem. I informed a manager of the problem, and 2 months later, someone else informed a different manager. They do not seem interested in addressing the issue.

On multiple occasions I have purchased moldy food. I wouldn’t buy it if things were labeled well with expiration dates. More often than not I encounter mold. Really unacceptable.

«Meh. I’ve experienced better» is incredibly accurate. Maybe I’m biased(I’m a Publix-raised girl), but I’d like to think that I can still keep an open mind. The Skillman store is small, expensive, and has a very limited selection of foods, but that is not the worst part about it. Customer service at the Skillman Fresh n’ Save is 100% non-existent. Today, I went to do my weekly shopping and upon check-out was confused when there were two girls behind the register – one was completing my transaction(a.k.a doing her job), but the other stood there and did absolutely nothing. She looked at me blankly when I placed my re-usable bags on the counter and did not even consider moving to the side while I bagged the groceries myself. It’s safe to say she was severely in the way. If you’re going to make me bag my own groceries, at least get out of the way! Unfortunately, it is my local store and I will have to return. Oh, and I would be doing you all a disservice if I declined to mention that maybe every third item at this store is labeled with a price, so it’s always fun to play the«How-Much-Will-My-Bill-Be?» game at this store. Not pleased, not pleased.

I wanted to give this store a 3 but 2 should be ok. price wise, sometimes much more expensive than Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s but oh well, this is the only supermarket that is within 5 mins from where i live. there’s another Fresh n Save on 44th st i believe but can’t imagine walking that far with tons of groceries. oh well. looks like they have remodeled and put better section on the fruits, salad, hummus, and breads. i personally shop here just for basic stuff like onion, garlic, scallions, microwaveable rice and sometimes olive oil, cold cuts and eggs. meat selection is pretty ok but there is not much selection on seafood.

This«supermarket» engages in shady business practices. When an item is on «sale» a you go to pay, the sale prices do not ring up. I am wary now so I watch the cashier, but how many unsuspecting people are being overcharged. This brings me to my next complaint, they overcharge for everything. Often, I have to take items to the cashier and tell them that there are no prices listed and ask for her to check, the items that have no prices listed are usually way overpriced.

Store is too experience…. If you go to other grocery store the price is less same items you got from this store. I don’t know why this store has coupon on its site if they don’t accepts coupons. I rather go to associate store you spend less got more groceries. They Don’t even worth one star.

This is my neighborhood grocer. The breads are always fresh(if you go in the morning time, the breads are still warm). It is kinda pricey there, but you can catch a good sale every so often. I find that the sales advertised inside the store(i.e. signs) are often incorrect, either not placed in the right section or outdated. At the same time, the store manager has been accommodating and given me the sale price on multiple occasions.

It is a crying shame when a store doesn’t label the prices and you find out you’re getting ripped off at the register. This was the case with a bottle of organic apple juice which costs less than $ 7 at Whole Foods. I paid $ 12 at this store. The prices are inflated for many items. Heaven forbid I pick up a container of the house brands in order to save money. I had to return an unexpired container of greens because of a funny smell. I did catch on after that and I was able to stop the transaction on two separate occasions. One of the items had a sale sign pointing to it, but it happened to be something else. What about the senior citizens who can’t keep up with these scams? Awful!!! I gave then a whopping two stars because they’re handy for a single emergency item in a pinch. Oh, I almost forgot, they do not take back the glass containers of milk. I really hope you guys change the way this store is managed. Your business practice isn’t honest. The cashiers are very pleasant«)

All produce tastes like a basement. Even after washing apples they taste 100% like basement. Sometimes the basement flavor even seeps past the banana skin and into the fruit. Once I bought a bunch of cheese from the cheese section and all of it tasted like a basement. Best to stick to canned and packaged goods.

So this is what the Food Dynasty by Key Food is called now. But as far as I can tell, nothing changed except the name. So I’m going to re-post my review here: Food Dynasty is the worst grocery store I’ve ever been to. Half of the stock isn’t labeled(the more expensive half) and some items don’t even have a price when you use the scanner. Nothing is ever cheap here, even on sale, and a lot of the stock just isn’t very good quality. I’ve been ripped off multiple times shopping here. They have ambiguous signs for sales, and when I’ve complained that I was overcharged, the manager went back, probably ripped the sign down, and told me I bought the wrong thing. This happened with a sale on bread a couple months ago, and today with a 5 for $ 5 pasta deal. Anticipating that they would try to rip me off, I told the cashier to make sure the pasta rings up as 5 for $ 5, and when I told her that it was ringing up at $ 1.99 a box, she said she would fix it at the end. She didn’t. I went back and asked about the problem, and the response I got was«That deal never applies to lasagna.» I mentioned that the sign ONLY says«16 oz. boxes of pasta, assorted varieties.» After being told they don’t usually do anything about problems like this but that they’ll make an exception, I got $ 7 back. The only reason I shop here is because it’s about a block and a half away, and it’s relatively on the way back from the subway. But I’m going to have to check into the other local groceries. Everything at this store is a design to rip you off. I don’t want to have to be paranoid about grocery shopping. Let’s hope the dynasty crumbles soon.
