Much more than you can ever imagine, no paint store in NYC has this level of service! I am a professional contractor and have lived in NYC for over 50 years and I’m here to tell you that this is the last store of its kind. All the products are high quality, there are no disappointments. All of the staff are customer service driven and very knowledgeable. Cant say enough good things about this business, just go there and skip HD and the other clowns if your in the area.

I asked for flat paint for some metal gates, the clerk showed me a chart of the paint they were pushing, didn’t have what I wanted but the clerk said this PAINT IS NOT THAT GLOSSY. It turned out to be too glossy, returned to the store the clerk recanted on his recommendation, I insisted he said it was not that glossy, this is old man comes out of the back ground asking WHAT DO YOU WANT and to stop arguing… I wanted my money back he rudely instructed the clerk to return the money. WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE EVER AGAIN, WITH THIS TYPE OF customer service no wonder they are a dying breed… STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YO ARE A DIY HOMEOWNER STICK TO HOME DEPOT! GLEASON PAINT DOES NOT WANT YOUR BUSINESS…

I went to this store hoping someone would help me find an acrylic paint. I needed a lot of them for a project. I asked the guy in the counter politely where I could find it, the guy just pointed and said «All the way in the back.» When I went to where he was pointing I didn’t find it. I was left by myself trying to look for it. I decided to just go to another store. Too bad for them, they just lost a customer that could have made their sale of the day. Never coming back!

Awesome paint store. I have no idea what I’m doing and they were super helpful in hooking me up with what I needed — and guided me to the paint that was good enough for my needs vs. top of the line. So refreshing to be able to speak with experts and there are always many availaible. I’ll never go back to Home Depot or Lowe’s

Came here while killing some time waiting for the car to get done, looking for paints. The staff is super helpful and friendly. They have all the top of the line Benjamin Moore paint and can mix any color from any collection to get what you want. They really know their stuff and gave us some good recommendations.

Love this paint shop. They’re professionals. I know, professional painters actually working in a paint store. It seem like a throwback to another era, (like, «They don’t build ‘em like they used to…») but, they exist here at Gleason Paints. Amazing! Always helpful. And they have top-of-the-line Benjamin Moore. When it comes to paint, skip the Home Despot on Northern and go to Gleason! They’ll take care of you.
