Pure NYC Nightclub

This place is horrible; I don’t understand how a place like this can stay open. I mean everything is wrong with from the prices, to uneven floors, location, and rude services. I’m embarrassed to say that I went to this place. I think the worst part about this place is I felt like I want to bath myself in bleach, the place is absolutely disgusting.

I wouldn’t come back here. The place is really small and we paid $ 50. Not worth the money at all. I know there was a show, but I really wouldn’t go back. The location was easy to get to since it was right off the highway. It’s right next to a strip club. Bottle service was $ 300 for a bottle of Goose. In my opinion though, any bottle service is expensive when the bottle at the liquor store is $ 40.

I came here on 6÷29÷2013 to see my favorite artist from Romania !!! INNA !!! and this place was one of the worst overpriced venue I have been to in Queens NY !!!, I got here on time and was checked twice by the bouncers who were giving everyone attitude. The floor on the place was dirty, the bathrooms were dirty, no paper or soap. The price for a non-​imported beer was 12 and the whole place had no A/​C, I mean for the price entry fee and not to have proper ventilation it was a disgusting experience. The stage for INNA was so small it looked like a little box in a secluded corner of the club, I will never come back here again it was a waste of money and a disgusting atmosphere. If you want a similar club like this but with appropriate kept facilities, the check out System which is still in queens and it has a proper stage. Well you have been warned.

I went to Pure for a Halloween party for a friend’s party. I should have stayed home and watch re-​runs of «Fresh Prince of Bell-​air» lol it was really bad! Thank God I travelled with a group because it was damn near deserted! I could have sworn I saw a tumbleweed roll by. The music was by DJ CD player because who’ve he was it wasn’t mixed nor good. I have returned since and if for any reason I do, it’ll be because I rented out the club and brought my own DJ! Club Pure in Vegas is a different story all together, if you want to experience the real Club Pure book a flight to Vegas ASAP cuz it’s well worth it. Hope this helps, safe clubbing and party hard!

Place is huge nice elegant looking, come on a Saturday for an all Spanish night enjoyment. Crowd is super friendly and of all races. If you want a night out of English music enjoyment then this place isn’t for you on a Saturday night. Would love to attend when Chris Vargas is Djing here

So glad I pre-​gamed before going here for a bday. Also, thanks for confiscating my gum because you know, it’s packed full of hard drugs.
Bartender tried to hop on my friend and gave herself a $ 100 tip on his tab/​card. Of course it was disputed but the nerve of some people. Crap service.

Last night was my worst experience at this place by far. I had already given this place 3 tries, & it’s always been pretty empty, wack & ghetto. The only reason I went last night was b/​c I got free tix to see Alexis Y Fido perform live. Last night was the 1^st time I saw Pure pretty packed & I really enjoyed the music & performance. I decided to open up a tab b/​c I didn’t have cash on me & there was a $ 40 minimum to use a CC. My 2 girlfriends & I ordered 3 drinks each, & I had 2, a total of 8 drinks. At the end of the night when I ask for my tab, the bartender hands me my bill & it’s $ 186! Obviously impossible, I spoke to the manager & he reduced it but I just had to point out the fact that his bartender was drinking on the job so of course my bill didn’t add up correctly & his response was the best part. He says «it’s her job to drink»! I thought it was bartenders jobs to serve drinks, not consume them as well, & if you are consuming alcohol on the job, know your limits, I work in the same business & know exactly what it’s like. Idc about the money, just how unethical this situation was handled, especially on the manager’s part.
So make sure you don’t start tabs at this place & keep track of what you’re consuming!

After a big fallout at another club in Queens my sister’s friend moved her Bday/​Halloween celebration to Pure. I have a feeling I had a very different experience here than everyone else because I went this past Saturday when we had a freak snow/​rain storm and the club was more or less empty.
We were able to find parking right across the street and of course there was no line outside as it was still snowing when we arrived at around 11:30pm. I am not feeling the fact that they charged me $ 6 for coat check while my sister only paid $ 3.was it my long coat or my scarf? Then we had to get patted down and they actually took my gum out of my purse.
We were in the VIP section which was nice enough, plenty of seating and the club itself is pretty big. My sister’s friend got a great deal on a bottle of Champagne, Hennessy and another of Ciroc but since neither of us like Henny or Ciroc we decided to buy our own drinks. A beer served in a cup for $ 9 – 10 is ridiculous, and my sister’s tiny little cosmopolitan was like $ 13. You may as well drink at home or not drink at all.
The music was pretty good. I actually don’t go out much so I am not sure how it compares to other clubs nowadays but because of the music I was able to have a good time. And that’s mostly what they get 2 stars on.
I was very close to giving 3 stars until I remembered about the bathroom attendant. First of all there is a sign on the mirror which says tips are mandatory because soap and napkins are not free. um okay? And she actually asked for her tip. She reminded everyone when they came in that they need to tip her. She also gives you toilet paper because they don’t keep any in the stalls. Seriously I was trying so hard not to go to the bathroom because it was such a disturbing experience. Of course my bladder won that battle and essentially between my sister and I we paid about $ 5 to use the bathroom that night.
