I’ve been going here for a couple years and have been really happy with my experiences here. Shelley has been doing my color and cuts and she’s not only as sweet as can be, she’s awesome at what she does. The one time the color didn’t work out, she got my back in quickly and made it great! I’ve also seen Fran for eyelash and eyebrow tinting and she explains the steps very clearly and decides color with you. I’ve also had waxing here and the set up in really nice and the products they use give great results with little discomfort. I haven’t tried a facial or massage, but I will. I’ve seen them advertise great packages for pregnancy, mother’s day, etc. Love this place!

Worst massage I have ever had, 1 hr massage only lasted about 40 – 45 min(which I was actually thankful for because it was such a bad experience I couldn’t wait to get out of there). The therapist used no pressure at all, had long nails scratching me, dumped a ton of oil all over me, and rushed through the entire thing. They book you for a couples massage and then quickly take you into different rooms before you even realize they took the two of you in completely different directions. Then they tell you when you get in the room they can’t do a couples massage together. And that’s only the start of my complaint.

Awful. Let me start from the beginning. It was our first wedding anniversary and my wife decides to surprise me with a Couple’s Massage. She called around to several places in town and checked reviews beforehand. She called Beverly’s to see if they offered Couples Massages, which she was told«yes» they did, and so my wife booked us for a massage there(specifically because the spa is in a beautiful old home. The other option was next door at Vaneesa, but she went with Beverly’s). So we end up arriving 10 minutes early on the morning of our 10am Couples Massage. When we arrive, we are asked if there’s a special occasion, and we said yes it’s our first wedding anniversary. The receptionist seats us and tells us to wait. Next, out comes the lady who was doing my massage. She brought ME a glass of water(completely ignored the fact that my wife was sitting there and might want one too) and told me she’d be with me in a moment. Let me pause by saying, this is supposedly a «Day Spa.» I would expect a Day Spa to offer some sort of «Detox» water with lemon or some sort of tea or champagne for their clients. No… I was brought a glass of awful tasting tap water. And again, my wife was brought nothing. Next the lady who was going to be doing my wife’s massage comes out(empty handed) and tells us to come on back. So we go back and they take us in different directions. I ask, «we paid for a couples massage, aren’t we going to be in the same room?» I was told no, and that they don’t have room for that. And the subject was completely brushed over by the employee all together as if it was no big deal. At this point I’m pissed. This is not what we signed up for and I felt completely scammed. But I let it go, and told myself it’s ok… I’m here for a relaxing massage. So onto the massage. The lady comes in at 10 after(hour massage, scheduled at 10am) and, although she’s nice, she begins to rub my back and body with the overall pressure of a small child. I hinted that I wanted more pressure, but i honestly could barely feel anything. She asked if I had any injuries that required deep tissue, I said no but I like more pressure. She tells me, that the lady that is massaging my wife is stronger than her and does more of the deep tissue stuff. Pause… Quick thought to the owners and staff… I’m a big guy. my wife is very small… why on earth would you pair the stronger masseuse with the tiny woman and the weaker one with me?!? Anyways, the awful massage continues and at this point I am just so frustrated that I cannot wait until the whole experience is over! She doesn’t even massage my lower back and even went so far as to tell me(without my asking) that«people ask her all the time to rub their butts and boobs, but she doesn’t rub butts… this isn’t that kind of place.» Well, excuse me, but when I(and I’m assuming most people) get a massage, I like at least the top of my glutes and lower back rubbed. She clearly is in the wrong field. The entire time I could barely feel her even rubbing my body. A mouse could’ve honestly done a better job applying pressure than she did. When she finishes she tells me to get dressed and take my time. Thank God! It’s at this time I look at the clock and notice its only 10:55am!!! So let me get this straight, you deceive us into thinking that we are signing up for an actual hour long«Couples Massage», you ignore my wife when you bring me out awful tap water, you give me the worst massage(if that’s what you want to call it) that I’ve ever had in my life, and you still have the nerve to only give me a 45 minute session when I signed up and paid for what we were told was an hour long session??? The answer is yes, yes this did actually happen. This place has no business referring to itself as a «Day Spa.» It doesn’t have any of the amenities, features, or services that a true Day Spa offer. Yes, it is located in a lovely location, but that’s where the good part ends. My wife was obviously upset that this was her anniversary gift to me and I’d have to say I agree with her that it was a total waste of money altogether! Yours truly, Completely Unsatisfied Customer

My 16 year old daughter just had her hair cut by Fran. What a wonderful experience! Fran’s charm matches the charm of this beautiful home! We love the haircut and appreciate the time Fran took to make it so beautiful. We will both be back.

Nice little home feel to this spa. The staff are great and welcoming. Go get your hair done by Pam. Everytime I begin to describe what I want she finishes my sentences and gives me a great hair make over.

I was a former customer of Beverly’s day spa, I was a customer over 2 years but I have finally had enough. Let me start by saying I was no superior VIP client, but as a customer you look for a place that makes you feel that way regardless. What is really disappointing is the fact that I loved my hair dresser Shellie, but I was too fed up with that snot nose receptionist Michele. Michele seemed to lack a compassionate personality or maybe it was used for the special clients. Her smile always seemed so fake, as a receptionist and as a representation of the salon you expect more. I would consider going back maybe after a few changes. Also– silly but if I spend over $ 120 every 6 – 8 weeks, you would think they could provide better toilet paper for their clients then the frivolous cheap stuff they do provide.

Best facial anywhere in Atlanta! They use such wonderful organic products, great moisturizing treatment. They put me in a roomy space where I had plenty of changing room(most facials are in those tiny cramped rooms).

Beverly’s Day Spa in a charming section of Down Town Woodstock. The level of professionalism is superior! After visiting the first time for a «spa treatment» I now get my nails done there on a regular basis. It’s nice to have someone who really knows what they are doing. I’ve also had a facial and again the wonderful knowledge of the staff has helped my skin look the best it has ever looked. The wax they use is also wonderful, everything is wonderful! I highly recommend Beverly’s Day Spa! It has a charm that makes it unique and a delightful experience.
