My child has been attending Apple-A-Day Care Center for almost 5 years, from the time she was 4 months old. This fall, she will be going to kindergarten, and while we’re excited to have her enter this new phase in her life, we will miss AADCC very much! The teachers at AADCC work hard to create an environment that feels like a second home. The school is incredibly diverse, both in terms of teachers and children, which we think is wonderful. Our child has had the opportunity to grow up in a millieu that includes people from all walks of life. The one thing that everyone has in common at AADCC is their love for each other. Our child has always been kept safe and healthy here, and has learned a great deal about how to socialize and get along with others — probably the most important skill a young child can gain from«school» settings before kindergarten. The kind and generous nature of the staff at AADCC has had a major impact on our child’s social-emotional development, and we couldn’t be more pleased with how she’s grown over the years. AADCC is owner-operated by Bibi Nageer, who has worked there for more than 20 years. Bibi is intimately involved with every aspect of AADCC, and often moonlights in various classrooms as a teacher herself. This allows her to truly know the needs of each child and help ensure those needs are met. AADCC’s staff are very respectful of our wishes for our child when it comes to all sorts of topics. They support breastfeeding mothers, and welcome visits during the day for moms who want to come and nurse their babies during the school day. They also allow cloth diapering, and respect all dietary preferences. We have been fortunate that our child’s been able to spend these first 5 years in such a caring environment. I would strongly encourage anyone else who is looking for similar things to check out Apple-A-Day!

My husband and I moved to Worcester from the West Coast this summer and needed to find a daycare for our two sons(11÷6÷11 and 9÷25÷2013). On a recommendation, we checked out Apple a Day, and were very pleased with what we found. It is on a quiet one-way street close to downtown, in a large house with a big play-yard in back(divided to allow for separate play for the babies in good weather). Bibi, the owner, is lovely and obviously cares very much for all of her charges. The rooms are divided by age. Our older son began in the older toddler room with Regina and Gricel, and quickly grew to love them. He moved up to the preschool room a couple months ago and has blossomed under Tina and Katrina’s care. They have been particularly helpful in the realm of potty training! Our younger son has been in the infant room with Sasha and Marissa, and has a lot of fun in there. Even at that young age, they make sure to take them out for walks every day. It is clear at the end of every day that the boys are happy and well-cared-for by all of the ladies at Apple A Day. The fact that they are quite affordable to boot makes this a recommended place for anyone looking for new childcare.
