Although it is one of the oldest colleges in the country as a result of it’s merger with the former Leicester Jr College, Becker is is not Harvard, nor does it try to be. Becker is job focused, with almost a «trade school» atmosphere. The faculty is supportive, and the school is fairly easy to get into. To stay enrolled, you need to work hard, but help is given to those who lack study skills. If you want to be a nurse, and want to avoid the loooooong wait list at public colleges, Becker will get you there.
Because it is next door to WPI, an under femaled engineering school, women often find husbands while at Becker… but that is another story… lol
