Great food, great value, great people. If you are seeking a great breakfast or lunch place in Worcester, this is well worth a visit. Service is very fast, so if you are pressed for time, this is a place where you order and your food arrives quickly, and it is very good. I have business contacts coming in from out of town often and I take them to breakfast here. They love the place and the food and can’t believe how reasonable the prices are.

Stopped in to get breakfast. Welcomed like family by the chef(a Jason Statham lookalike) poking out from the back with a Hollywood smile. Offered coffees as soon as we sat down. Great ambience, small and cozy. Laughter and the clink of spoons in mugs– classic. I ordered a custom omelet and my gf ordered blueberry pancakes. I stared at the table in stunned disbelief as our plates arrived almost instantly. The chef is obviously clairvoyant. The omelet was fluffy with plenty of the cheese and ham fillings. Side of home fries were seasoned just right for feeble morning taste buds and piping hot. The pancakes were steaming blueberry aroma across the whole dining room. Our server was delightful, checking in to see how everything came out. The bill proved you don’t have to spend a lot to get the best. Fantastic food and friendly familiarity. Drop that plate of whatever you’re eating and get to Dell’ovo’s posthaste!!!

Love this place, food is good! Best meatballs… The salads are not impressive though and the hours are not very convenient.

If you are interested in homemade food at very reasonable prices eat here. Nothing fancy about how the place looks, it looks like Ma’s kitchen… but the daily specials are all outstanding. The pasta fagole, lentil and minestra soups are simply superb as are the bracciole, stuffed peppers and the veal parmagianna. My favorite spot for a diner style place.

Walking down Shrewsbury Street this morning waiting for my brakes to be replaced, I needed a place to sit, sip and read. So on my way to Dunkin Donuts I go. Except I walked by Dell’ovo’s, peeked in and thought wow this is a really nice place for breakfast. I walked in took a seat at the counter and order my favs. While I waited she brought me coffee which was full bodied and very nice flavor. I looked around and noticed it was bright, clean and very orderly. a place you could definitely take your kids to or your mom. The food was very good, nice portions and she was right there for me with the coffee. Very good and well worth another trip
