Duquette Service Station

I’ve been living in Millbury for about 9 years and have had trouble finding a good mechanic that was reliable, did good work and wouldn’t rip you off. Thankfully my Toyota has been a great car and hasn’t had many problems over the years but recently my front brakes seemed to be wearing down and I needed a mechanic. I started my search on Unilocal with customer reviews and found that not only did Duquette Service Station have great reviews but also they weren’t to far away from where I live. I decided to stop by while out running errands and met the owner John who told me I could drop the car off the next morning and have it serviced. On Friday morning I went in intending to drop off the car and walk home but John tells me he’ll give me a ride home and pick me up instead (he’s a really nice guy) so I took the offer. A couple of hours later he calls me to let me know what he will be repairing and quotes me a price which I found to be very fair. A couple hours after that he calls me to say the work is done and that he will be over shortly to pick me up. All in all I had a great experience with Duquette Service Station. The car is running great, the price was very fair and John and his staff are awesome. I am happy to say I have found my new mechanic.

Good service. Car broke down during the blizzard, and they were still able to help me out. Nice people. Didn’t seem to over– charge (but I really have no idea).

My friend and I were headed to NY from Boston and the car got dangerously hot so we decided to find a service station. We passed by a Jiffy Lube and a Goodyear station en route, but thought it was worth the extra 1+ miles to see a real mechanic. I’m glad we did because John at Duquette’s took great care of the car and charged us a very fair price. I highly recommend his place!

Car broke down while driving, lucky enough to have found this place. Called them, they towed my car to their station and provided an exceptional service, very friendly and respectful which is hard to find on a mechanic place. Person who towed the car was very friendly, car was fixed fast, pricing was very good and fair, towing was cheap as well. When towing, the guy was very careful to not damage the car. Will definitively use their service in the future. Use this service, you will not regret it.

I’ve only had minor work done here, and an inspection done in the building (I think it is technically another business), but my experiences have been good. I still go to my trusted mechanic (not too local) when possible, but they have been fair and competent in my limited dealings thus far. A friend’s car broke down in Worcester and they asked me where to have it towed and I suggested this place. He said they fixed his car at a reasonable price in a short amount of time.
Update: I had more work done there, and they were up front to deal with, and the final bill was less than they estimated. They fixed it the same day.
