Touch it take it, things move fast here, complaining about what you almost got is tacky. Sometimes its a hit or a miss, just remember its a good cause and the people here are volunteers to a large degree and deserve your respect. Well priced 90% of the time, a few things start a bit too high but there is a dated reduced price system to help with that. The large furniture is a big win here, some of the smalls are fun finds. Mostly building related as you’d guess, but large supplies of random items like comic books and LP records appear.

This store has a lot of larger furniture pieces like couches, kitchen sets, armoires, desks, etc. I thought the pricing was kind of mixed(some items were a good deal, but a few made my jaw drop). There were not as many building materials as I would have expected(small selection of lights, door hardware, and tiles). I wasn’t looking for appliances but they had a large selection. Nor was I looking for cabinetry but poked around and was pretty shocked at the prices they were charging. One set of 2 upper cabinets was marked at $ 300. These were not anything special — more like a honey oak builder grade from Home Depot. You could buy new ones at that price! I also browsed through the windows and doors just for kicks. The doors seemed decently priced, but again, I was pretty surprised at the prices for windows. It is a bit of a hike for me so I’m not in a rush to go back, but worth browsing if you are in the area. I should also mention on a Saturday morning it was packed!

Love this place, not only am I able to get good deals for when I need to buy materials for a home project but I can generally find the right amount of materials without having to over spend on extra material I’ll never use. It is also nice to be able to stay well within my project budget and help a charity. I try to bring cash with me anytime I go because I konw they are charged a transaction fee for using the CC machine plus they only use it if your purchase is $ 10.00 or over. Still it’s a good place to go for when you need materials or tools for a home project or because you need an appliance but can’t afford new. The volunteers and staff there are friendly and helpful.

Great place to drop off extra building supplies or home ware you no longer need. It is also a great place to find extra building materials or home ware you might need. The proceeds from your donations/purchases directly benefits the Habitat for Humanity of Central Massachusetts. You can find some interesting things here. Everything from appliances to paint to furniture and lighting. You can even find some odd ball items like Church Pue’s(Great for making a corner bench.
