Best phở place around! The most authentic place I’ve ever tried. I can’t get enough of it. If you’re looking for a place to get great phở, look no further! Quick service, very generous portions, and great prices.

I’m usually very picky when it comes to Phở… we happened to stumble upon this place on Unilocal and I was hesitant to try. Normally I stick to my usual spots but since I’m from Providence, I had no choice. I will say that I’ll actually take a trip back here just for their phở. They’re very generous with their portions. I got the phở dac biet with extra tendon… MmMmm. I tasted my son’s wonton soup with egg noodles that came with slices of roast pork and that was very tasty as well! Do order their Vietnamese iced coffee… it’s close to the original(according to my Viet other half).

I tried to give this place a second chance. I got 2 avocado boba smoothies, 1 large phở, and 1 large wonton soup with noodles and it came out to $ 32? I spoke to the owner and told him that his calculations are wrong. How do you tax $ 2 for each soup bowl? Then $ 2 for each smoothie? That’s ridiculous and mediocre to do. There’s no way I’m coming back. I hope someone looks into this restaurant and do something about it. I wish I could give this place 0 stars.

Came in on a Sunday for lunch and got the last seat. Waitress was friendly and the phở came out quick. I ordered the #1 large bowl which comes with flank, brisket, meatball, tendon and tripe. Overall, the broth was great with a good portion of meat and the noodles seemed to be very fresh. Just a heads up $ 15 minimum on cards. Even though my phở was 10.50 the guy at the counter still let me use my card but let me know in the future the minimum was 15. Overall, great little place that had friendly staff and great phở!

Phở was good, but our tea was never refilled despite the lid being left open. As the other reviewers said, there are no appetizers or other meat/rice/noodle dishes other than the noodle soups. My biggest complaint is that the prices added up at the end of the meal DONOT reflect the prices on the menu! I ordered #9 medium phở for $ 8 on the menu but later it came out to $ 8.50. I know it’s not that much different but still that is not honest business.

Phò — King great! No frills, no extras, just great Vietnamese noodle soup. Mainly Asian clientele, they seemed a bit surprised when I walked in for lunch alone. Having spend a lot of time in Asia, I knew what I wanted and they brought it out quickly. This is my new go to spot for phò.

Phở is one of those things that I’ve found is hard to do badly. Maybe I’ve never been to a truly exceptional phở place, but I never seem to have many complaints. Hien Vuong is no different. Unlike anywhere else I’ve been, they only serve soup. You might think that’s an indication that they have mastered a craft but I thought their phở was pretty typical. In my experience, that means it was still quite good. The prices are low and the portions are gargantuan so if you are in town and craving some soup, you should definitely consider Hien Vuong.

Minimal meat, mediocre soup and stealing cashier. So I went to this place with six other friends today the phở was okay with very little steak and beef balls(that is for a large bowl). We finished our meal and went to the cashier old man to pay and the cashier charged $ 11 for a $ 9 bowl, $ 4.5 for a $ 3.5 drink and he even added his own non-calculated 1 dollar tax to it. He did the same to my other friends, and we will never come back to eat at the place again.

I’ve been going to this restaurant since I was a little girl with my family and decades after decades, you would think the food would change up their flavors or taste a little different, but nope. Not even one bit. I’ve tried so many places that has offer phở from inside the city to outside of the city and NONE has ever taste as good as here, with no exaggerations! Phở Hien Vuong only serve noodle soup and nothing more which makes it less complicated and less time consuming. Their broth is always perfect. Not too plain and not too flavorful. Just right. The restaurant is just a tad small and kind of hard to move around, but as soon as you open the doors and step one foot in, you can already smell the delicious broth surrounding your nose. You also can seat yourself any where as well.

Decent Phở, very inexpensive and large portions! It’s a small place that closes early in the day. It’s a definite quick lunch spot on if you’re looking for something different or Asian.

4.427 Stars It all about the base, the soup base. It is sublime and it makes the Phở. The décor is nothing to shout about, the room is spartan and dated. You can sit alone or have a family style meal. The fish tank is huge and the water was clear, so this is the center piece. The service is not exactly cordial, but it isn’t rude either. The menu is limited and prices are easy on the wallet. You have to love the purity of the place. * as good or better that Phở I’ve had in the DOT or Boston. * Phở & Hu Tieu. * Number 1 is my choice. * Careful parking on the street, the Woosta Meter people are in force. There is parking like the sign above the door says.

Very good soups. Lots of veggies, quick and not to spicy The selection of different pasta /noodles was delicious and make the choice quite difficult but what a pleasure to finally discover a unique dish I do recommend !!

I was in Viet Nam a month ago and had my fill of Phở then. A month later now, I was craving some and Hien-Vuong scratched that itch well. They make authentic, delicious soup and I loved the tripe and beef balls in there. Good price and value.

Great price, great Phở. Nothing fancy. The menu is just Phở, nothing else. Not even appetizers. Would not have thought there is a good place for Phở this far west of Boston.

I love this place. It’s definitely the go to place for phở. Even though there are other Vietnamese restaurants in Worcester that serve phở(Phở Dakao, Anh Tu, Saigon), this is the local favorite. For people who don’t know what phở is, it’s a Vietnamese specialty, beef broth based noodle soup, filled with different types and cuts of beef, usually served with rice noodle, in a big bowl, complemented with hoisin sauce, hot sauce, lime, bean sprouts, and basil. Oh and filled with 100% deliciousness. My personal favorite dish here is the«Dry noodle» dish they have. Which is basically a seafood and egg noodle and seafood with a yummy sauce that you mix all together. I don’t think this is listed on the menu but if you just order«dry noodle», they should know what your talking about. But they seem to run out of the sauce often, weird, so they don’t make the dish all that much anymore, so it’s a treat when they do have it. Beware, this place doesn’t serve all the typical Vietnamese dishes! They specialize in and only serve noodle dishes! Most people think that they only serve phở but that’s not true, they make the aforementioned dry noodle and wonton noodle soup as well. It’s because of their limited selection and décor(super outdated) is why I’m giving this place a 4⁄5 review. They also make some delicious boba tea’s. Avocado and Durian are my favs.

Could eat their phở all day everyday. As per everyone else’s review — they have the best phở in Worcester(Viet Café is definitely a close second). This is the only place where I finish everything in the medium bowl(especially the broth) because it’s so good. Food is always consistent in taste and quantity. I wish they would open until 3am on weekends — they’d get so much business from the green/water st. go-ers. Definitely recommended.
