Long story short, my father was dying and my sister and I ran up the street for food.(He passed away about 9 hours later). We forgot to get something for my brother and went through the drive through a second time which was a clusterf*ck. Paid for my second order the first window after forever and went to the second window and was handed the wrong order — this led to all kinds of accusations from the manager that I had food in my car that I had not paid for(I did not) and all other kinds of crap including accusing me of trying to pass off my second receipt as one from s2014. I had two receipts for purchases made 15 minutes apart, both on my debit card with the number on the bottom of the receipt, So I ended up parking my car and jamming up their window while waiting for the police to arrive.(SHE called the police) I knew once I drove away from the window she could accuse my of anything but while there I figured there was a security camera on my car so I stayed put. ultimately the cop got her to refund my money. I was going to go back and complain but I see from the reviews that this seems to be typical behaviour and will take comfort that this place probably won;t last long.

As far as McDonald’s go, this one is on the bottom of the list. Not sure what it is, but something feels off. It might be the subpar food or the inattentive staff.

I had a worst experience in the drive thru today at Mac shrewsbury that I never had before in any drive thru. Today on jan 27th2012 at 5.30 pm I ordered a chicken select. When I drove thru to get the food the employee at the counter said«it’s going to take 4 mins to complete your order so we are going to park you» I said ok and asked a real simple question«are u going to call me when it’s ready?» I don’t know wat made her think she repeated her instruction with an attitude and fed up voice that would make you feel like a dump person… Why do you need to treat customers like this. If you are not interested to work don’t do this work and carry your frustration with people coming to get food.

Have tried this location a couple of times. Although they look clean and well kept on the outside and are fairly well maintained on the inside I have always gotten sick after eating here. Not sure what the deal is, even the most simple things to get I have gotten sick from. This location is good for one purpose, if you are taking the P.E. in Worcester and are traveling from a ways away, instead of contending with 40 to 50 people that all need to go to the bathroom before they take the test instead just go here.

I allowed Mrs B to talk me in to stopping here for breakfast this morning. We decided to eat in and were greeted and our order taken promptly in spite of the long line at the drive-thru. We each ordered the«Big Breakfast» though I got mine with pancakes. While Mrs B enjoyed her meal, I felt I should have thrown everything in the trash except for the bacon and pancakes. Sitting in the dining room listening to the regulars though was quite entertaining.

I like McDonald’s food and the one in Shrewsbury street is the closest to my home. I visit there often. The staff there deliver consistently bad service. For ‘Eat-In’ customers like me, there is a long wait, as they give priority to the ‘Drive-Thru’ folks, and often don’t acknowledge customers’ presence until they are ready to serve you. The quality of the food they give is consistently not good. I was given a Southwestern Chicken Sandwich that had oil on the buns. A 3-piece Chicken Selects entrée with only two-and-a-half pieces. Once when I ordered coffee, the lady who served me confessed that she is not very good at making coffee! The attitude is often rude and unfriendly. I once paid with my credit card, and the lady rudely said«You have not paid» aloud in front of other customers, as I was taking my tray out to the sitting area. They also close the ‘Eat-In’ facilities an hour or so before the advertised time of 11:00PM. I occasionally visit the McDonald’s at Lincoln Street(opposite Lincoln Plaza) and receive much better service there compared to this one.
