beyond disappointed!!! I’ve heard nothing but great things, my fiancé and kids took me there for my birthday. the wait staff was awesome, the appetizers were excellent, and the wine list extensive. that is where it all changes, it baffles my mind that a well know steak house cannot cook a medium steak even after 2 tries! if the chef(and I use that term loosely) can’t feel when it’s cooked to medium then he should at least use a thermometer and temp it out! 3 out of our 6 meals went back!!! unbelievable!!! if you want an awesome meal, DONOTCOMEHERE!!! we will NEVER go back. consider yourself warned!

Sorry I need a star to write a review. Warning. STOP !! Steak last night was over cooked on the 2nd try it was raw. This place is running on old reviews and is poor at best. The servers were spot on great!!! The kitchen help on the other hand needs to either be retrained have more help or a manager over seeing how they cook the food it was poor at best.

4 star atmosphere, 4 Star service, 4 star food! We have been twice! Had the tomato bisque, braised beef short ribs over horseradish mashed twice and wow was that delicious both times! Their Mac and cheese is one of the best I have had! Love their strawberry margaritas! Wasn’t fond of their lobster ravioli… was very fishy… but hey, some people may like that… they only give olive oil with their bread and it didn’t really have much flavor… we asked for Parmesan cheese and it did give it some more flavor. One thing we did experience… My fiancé tried the prime ribeye and it was tough! He doesn’t like to complain but since it was one of their most expensive steaks he mentioned it… they gave him a gift card to cover most of the price of the steak but not all and offered him another entrée… he didn’t want anything else but we did appreciate the gift card. Another person in our party ordered the sirloin medium and it came out rare so it had to be sent back… it was fixed perfectly Service is decent! I like that two people help out! Place is beautiful, clean, and parking is convenient. I have had better experiences at other steak houses which is why I gave 4 stars and not 5… I will update my review when we go back.

If I could give zero stars I would. Beware the waiters are so pushy with the up selling it ruins the entire experience. It doesn’t matter that you have ordered 4 appetizers they push two others on you. We ordered 2 bottles of wine but they acted insulted when we asked for tap water. The management didn’t care that the waiter purposely didn’t refill my wine because he over heard me complain to my family about him getting offended about the tap water and he is being extremely pushy on trying to make us over order food. He would fill all other wine glasses but mine. Pretentious attitude is not what we ordered. Only good thing at this restaurant is Jp the bartender. He expertly mixes a delicious martini and is quick with good humor and wit.

Drove all the way here on a Sunday night to get a couple drinks but the door was locked… at 10:30pm…despite the website claiming the place was open until 12am on Sunday.

I have been to this restaurant twice. Both times the meal has been excellent. The service has been great. The atmosphere is a bit loud more so towards the open kitchen. The restaurant has tables/chairs and booths. I have ordered the 12 oz aged New York sirloin with oven roasted red bliss potatoes. For desert the 111 chocolate mouse. All delicious. This restaurant is expensive but worth it.

Meh. Overpriced. Under flavored bone in delmonico. Dried out shroom side. However great bar service. Guys were spot on. But a $ 40 steak it was not.

Went to dinner for restaurant week. The food was good but the service was awful. Very rushed. Our waiter actually cleared the table before we even were finished reaching over me. Disappointing.

I’ve been to One Eleven for dinner a few times, but I do greatly enjoy the bar area for cocktails and appetizers. Their bourbon selection is reasonably expansive, the bartenders are always attentive, and the bang bang shrimp is a reliable crowd pleaser. We finished with cappuccinos this time — also surprisingly good. Looking forward to the spring menu!

Really disappointed after planning a special dinner here. Extremely noisy atmosphere, JulY could barely here my girlfriend sitting beside me. Mashed potatoes were cold, not even warm, and my wagyu steak was undercooked and underwhelming. Service was great and the only reason I’m giving 2 stars.

My boyfriend and I came here on Valentine’s Day we didn’t want to park on the street and got stuck doing valet parking but it was only $ 3 so we did it anyway, the valet was friendly and opened and closed my door. We had reservations and were seated quickly. We had 2 waitresses for whatever reason but they were both very nice. We ordered off the bar menu because it was more appealing to us and happened to be quite a bit cheaper. I ordered a 6 oz sirloin medium and my boyfriend ordered a hamburger medium well. The food came in a good amount of time considering how busy they were, when I first got my steak it was so small and I was disappointed but I eat very little and this ended up being the perfect size. We ordered a side of frites and the portion was huge, my boyfriend thought his burger was just okay but my steak was very good. For dessert we ordered the«porterhouse steak» which is two cakes one chocolate and the other red velvet with cream cheese and a white chocolate T-bone it was a pricey but very good! Overall the staff was quick and friendly always refilling our waters, the food was very good in my opinion and the price was a little high but fair. We hope to return soon!

Food was delicious and the wine list was extensive, interesting, and with a wide range of bottle orices. Service was very rushed from the moment we were seated to the arrival of the check. We were asked about drinks before we had received the cocktail menu. Plates were removed one by one, making the last diner feel she had to be done, even though she still had food to eat. To-go bags appeared while some diners were still eating.

so disappointed. This was one of my favorite places for many years and have raved about it and brought many here for high end dinners. The wine selection is always top notch and continues to be. However; the last 3 times I have been here, I have left feeling like I wasted my money. Tonight my wife and I ordered the fillet(me 10 oz, her 8 oz) and told the waitress we wanted them, «rare plus». meaning just a tad more than rare. My steak had a solid ¼ inch of overcooked meat all around. How did they do that? I’m not saying it was a little brown… I’m saying the meat was burned. at $ 37 per steak, I expect the cook to do his/her job. We eat at Longhorn in Millbury about 6 or 8 times a year and as much as this pains me to say… their steak is far superior to the chop house at less than ½ the cost, although they do not have good wine and the apps are far superior at the chop house. Unfortunately, I will not go back to the chop house unless I hear they’ve replaced the cook staff… those people are clearly bringing this once proud and fabulous restaurant down to a level just north of the 99. too bad.

Went here for dinner with the wife. We made reservations and still had to wait, which I find highly annoying. This is likely the best option for steak in Worcester, and they usually have a lot of people. Upon finally being seated, I ordered fillet and shrimp. The food didn’t take an extraordinary time to come out, and when it did, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of my steak. The cut was relatively lean and tender with just enough marbled fat for flavor, cooked to order. The shrimp complemented the steak well. Other things, the ambiance of the restaurant is nice though it does seem patrons dress-up, so keep that in mind. The waitstaff seemed fairly attentive, and were quick to bring drink re-fills and bread. I would definitely go here again. One Eleven Chophouse is a good option for special occasions, but for the money, I would opt for Bocado.

I’m not a meat eater and only came here for hubby. I like that they can make meals to order and will substitute. I had a shrimp appetizer. Tasty and spicy. The strawberry salad was good. They sat us next to the kitchen so we could see the progress of our meal. Main course took over 28 minutes on a slow Tuesday night. For medium well my strip that is not cool, especially since the center was medium to medium rare. I understand it is a steak place but really they need to learn how to cook chicken without biting it and drying it out. Service was good. For being part of the sole Proprietor I expected much more. Service 4. Food 3. Timeliness 2.5. This is really a low 3.

We went here last week during Worcester restaurant week. It was an early dinner, and it wasn’t crowded & there was plenty of staff. Even so, the service was slow, the kitchen was slow, and the steak took forever. The meal itself was good, but the meat was a little undercooked. I would recommend one of this restaurants sisters, the Sole, instead, even for steak, as I much prefer that one over this. We won’t be returning here.

111 Chop House — Worcester, MA — 5÷6÷2015 They have Valet parking… a big plus. My servers Ashley & Sarah were ultra friendly, very familiar with the menu and offered great recommendations… As I sit here deciding on tonights courses I am consumed by the wonderful aromas coming from just the other side of the glass… From where I sit I can see the kitchen staff preparing tonights feasts… Large open floor plan with lots of dark woods as you would expect from a high end steak house… A warm sliced loaf of bread was brought out with olive oil and ummmm… butter packets… Would have loved whipped butter but the bread was tasty none the less… Next up the 111 Chop Salad… They don’t pepper it for you!.. Crisp lettuce, Roasted Asparagus, Avocado, Hearts of Palm, Garbanzo Beans, Diced Radish and Capers, in a Shallot Honey Mustard Vinaigrette, Topped with Parmesan Cheese… The Capers added a nice touch to what usually is an ordinary salad in most steak houses… Really good and perfectly executed… For the main. A Boyden Farm, All Natural Filet from Vermont… 8 Oz of prime beef(probably just tipped the scale very much prior to cooking)… Cooked to absolute perfection. Pink thru-out, cuts like butah and with a side of Hollandaise Sauce… The Au Gratin Potatoes were probably enough for four people to share… Not the usual thinly sliced but chunks… Good but not great… I prefer the other style… I don’t think the chunks hold onto the flavour in quite the same manner the thin slices do… The dessert menu looked really good but given I almost over-dosed on that Salted Caramel Chocolate Dup Cake last night in Vermont, I think I will just opt for my signature Cappuccino and call it a night… The meal was very good but I’m not quite sure the price/value ratio was there… It made it to four stars for me but given how many places I go, the bar is set higher than most. It may very well be your five…

we have been wanting to try 111 for years and finally got time tonight. valet parking, beautiful décor & knowledgable staff We sat in a booth in the bar area and we loved the ambience. We had two waiters; justin & Hannah who were both very nice and helpful. I tried one of the seasonal drinks; a cotton candy Cosmo which was delicious. The regular cosmos were also above average. For appetizers, the calamari was perfectly cooked & crispy with a mixture of rings and tentacles. The firecracker sushi roll was also yummy which was filled with lobster, avocado & sweet potato. We were surprised by the quality of the sushi in a chophouse; try it! The French onion soup was probably the best part of the entire meal. For entrees, I had the surf and turf which was a bit disappointing. The petite filet was cooked perfectly to order, but the stuffed shrimp was overlooked, dry & bland. Mac & cheese side was good, but maybe not worth $ 9. Overall enjoyable experience and we will be coming back to try new menu items.
