Way cool old diner. Just a great diner breakfast. Had sunny side eggs with tomato sauce over the home fries. You can even have a cocktail with your breakfast. No booths just stools — one line on the counter and the other lined up on the window. I can still hear the cook yelling«what are you having on the window?» Definitely a must see!

I’m only reviewing this for breakfast, I’m sure that the rest of the menu is good also. It’s very good breakfast, they make great omelets and the service is good! Try it!

Good food, great prices. I had the Italian breakfast — 2 eggs, toast, home fries, meatball. Yum. Starts to get busy on the weekends at around 9.

Nothing worse than a server who is miserable. And you have to wonder why, are they being treated in such a way that makes them unhappy? Or are they just not a good hospitality employee? Either way, I didn’t feel welcome. I got a burger which would have been really good if it was medium rare, the way I ordered it, but it was medium well. The fries were good. Had to go find a ketchup at another table because the server didn’t come back again, we didn’t get refills either. My dining partner got eggs, bacon and toast. Bacon was hard, home fries not so great either. I probably won’t go back since there is so much competition on Shrewsbury Street. Good service would have probably turned this experience around, but that doesn’t seem to exist here.

Love this place. Breakfast delicious. We sat at the bar in the diner part and the cutest gentleman made me the best omelette(sorry Lou Roc’s!) and french toast we’ve ever had. Lunch delicious! Never had a bad meal. The Italian bread is ridiculous! Service is top notch, Brian at the bar is super nice and easy on the eyes ;)

Great mom & pop type place for breakfast. Gets a lil busy at times but that’s because the locals know how good this place is. «When in doubt, I trust the locals» You get what you pay for. You can even play a little keno while you wait for your food, and they have a damn good White Russian. So if you’re looking for a five star stuffy, snobby, table cloths and doilies restaurant, this ain’t the place for you. But if you wanna good meal at a great price amongst great local people, look no further.

Great spot and great atmosphere. I go to the Parkway a few times a week. They are open really early which is great because it allows me to be able to get food before work if I am running too late to make breakfast myself. My fiancé and I go there a lot on the weekends(usually sunday) for breakfast. I get steak and eggs, toast, and has browns for $ 11. Can’t beat that. The only think I would add to make the place better and give a 5 start is they don’t have turkey burgers or turkey bacon. If I am eating later in the day and don’t want something really lite I usually opt for a turkey burger and turkey bacon if its breakfast. I would love to see that added to the menu. I ask every time I go in hoping they will get it haha. Overall great little spot to grab food.

Ok place for drinks, horrible food and the staff is just ok. We ordered food and our waitress forgot some of our sides, the burger was over priced for the quality of meet, and the sandwich we ordered was more like a loaf of bread with a piece of cheese on it. I wouldn’t come back–

The Parkway is awesome! Great breakfast, lunch, dinner and service. I’ve never done it but I could definitely post up here for an entire day and get all three meals whilst enjoying sporting events on the TV. Their ice water is ridiculous — definitely piped straight from Fiji. Get a meatball with all your meals, You only live once.

Always a great breakfast and huge portions. Service is usually pretty good even when it’s busy at 9am on weekends. The meatballs are a perfect addition to a big breakfast! Lots of flat screen TVs and recently re — done restaurant.

One of my favorites places to go for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Awesome drinks at the bar, pretty cheap too! During football season they have wing specials. The restaurant has been recently renovated and has a bunch of flat screen TVs that are great for watching sports.

I like this place alot. The little old man whose worked here for years makes the food the best. The other people are super nice and will make your food crispier and such if u ask.

Horrible service, mean staff, shitty food. They made us come up and get our plates when our food was finally done instead of bringing it over to us. I’m not some entitled person but it’s customary that the waitstaff bring you your food, otherwise they are not doing anything.

Of all the diners in Worcester, the Parkway is my favorite. Been coming here since I was a kid and it never disappoints. You can’t go wrong with breakfast, lunch, or dinner, delicious homemade food and some of the best Italian around. I always go for the Italian breakfast– cheese omelette, buttered Italian toast, and a nice hot meatball. I’m salivating just thinking about it. The pasta dishes are great and I love the meatball sandwiches on their soft Italian bread. Notice the meatball theme because they are incredible, second only to my father’s in my opinion. I prefer eating up front in the diner area rather than the bar/restaurant space, probably for nostalgic reasons. I love the old-time feel up front and I remember when the back restaurant used to be the same way, I loved that too. But the new renovated sports bar is awesome. Keno and HD TVs for the games, great place to hang out or grab a meal. To top it all off, the owner John and his family are awesome people.

Absolutely love the parkway. I’ve been eating breakfast here for years and its always great. If you don’t get the Italian toast shame on you. The meatballs are fantastic and my go to is the meatball omelet with extra gravy for the home fries. The coffee is hit or miss but that’s the only negative here. Now with the back room open its even a cool spot to grab a beer early in the night.

Had dinner here the other night and was impressed. The actual diner is open for breakfast and lunch(until 2PM), but they have a small attached restaurant which serves lunch and dinner(usually staying open most nights until 10PM). They have a full bar with 3 TVs usually showing some sports event. The restaurant specializes in Italian. I had the tripe of all things, and it was very good. Prices were very reasonable. I’ll come back again!

Quick, cheap breakfast. The people that work here are nice. They have recently opened the back up(which is now a bar at night), and it is quite nice back there. Much much much less expensive than Boulevard(which is good but quite overpriced IMO). There arent many places you can get a decent 4 $ breakfast.

Had breakfast, was underwhelmed. My companion was particularly struck by the bitterness of the coffee. With the Boulevard across the street, I doubt we’ll be back.

i honestly can’t believe i’m the first to write a review for this place, but it’s pretty good and my go-to diner in worcester. you can always get a table(unlike gold star), and the prices are really good. i can’t say i’ve ever been overwhelmed by the portion size or how good the food was though.
