Fast delivery compared to so many places in the city for the amount of food we always order. The food is always hot and so good! A bit expensive for some things but the quality makes it worth it.

I placed an order at 5pm. By 5:20 it was here. Everything is fresh, delicious, and not overcooked. I always worry when I order boneless spare ribs, because most places its like chewing on an old tire. These are very tender and flavorful. My only complaint, and it isn’t even a complaint, is there is no salt on the Edamame. But like I said, it isn’t a complaint as I added a little. I would definitely order from here again!

Over all decent experience. The prices were great and service good. The food came very quickly. We ordered the beef in garlic sauce with rice, crab ragoons and the crazy roll. The food was okay. The sushi was very yummy but not wrapped very tight so it fell part. It is good food if you’re looking for something quick and cheap. Nothing out of the world though. And the sushi buffet is only sashimi and non of the specialty rolls which is a bummer because I don’t love raw sushi

Poor food and poor service. Took an hour to get served sushi(lunch) and place was empty. Order came out wrong. Sushi was very poor quality. Would not recommend and will not return.

I went there for the first time this last week and I was blown away at how good the food was! I also talked with the owner, Eric, who is very kind and we are going to do some business together because I own two Christian businesses Christian DJ and Heavenly Touch Car Detailing. So go to Shangri-La and enjoy their great food. Plus stay on the look out for the next EPICFELLOWSHIP at their restaurant which is scheduled for December 13th, 2015. God bless.

The food is okay tho. I give it 1 star because the service it provided was poor. Last time I ordered a house salad and I found a caterpillar was in my salad. I called the waiter and showed him. He took away my plate without apologizing or replacing my dish. WTF. If I wasn’t with my bunch of friends, I would just canceled my meal and left. NEVERWANNAGOTOTHISRESTAURANTAGAIN!

The general gaus chicken was very sweet and not spicy at all. Their receipt was in Chinese rather than English so I wasn’t sure what I was charged for. Their crab Rangoon is also pretty good. I would recommend this place as a last alternative.

I was a weekly customer along with bringing another 1 – 2 patrons with me every time. Something happened that turned my stomach and it was brought to the attention of the owner and he wouldn’t even make eye contact with me. Remember I was spending alone $ 140 a month on sushi at this location and I felt very bad he couldn’t rectify the situation. No attempt was made to keep my business coming. With that being said we have switched back to Sakura Tokyo on Park ave. I hope they fix the issue and I might consider trying them again in 3 months.

The food here is great. I’ve had their sushi and their Chinese food. The lunch specials are a great deal. The only problem is that the service is slow. If you are planning on going here for take out, make sure that you call ahead. Even still they sometimes can take a long time to get your food. The online ordering system asks you to put in a credit card but it will need to be run again at the register. If you can overlook the service, then this is a good place to get your fix of Chinese or Japanese food if you’re near the Telegram building or DCU Center.

I’ve had their food four times. The first I ordered Chinese delivery, it was okay but not as good as other Chinese delivery nearby. Next I ordered their hibachi for delivery, it was okay, the vegetables were better than their chicken but once again their is better hibachi nearby(although not for delivery) The third(and best) time I got sushi delivery(!!!) and it was decent, again there is better sushi but not for delivery. They have all you can eat sushi now, but I haven’t experienced it yet. The fourth time some friends and I got large order for take out because they are one of the few restaurants here which has peking duck. Their Mongolian beef was very good. Their prices weren’t too high, and they allow me to access a lot of foods you can’t normally have delivered.

Real Chinese food with good service. I want to give it four. But since someone love to exaggerate, I made it five to against the one star!

4 — We really enjoyed the food — house special lo mien, tangerine beef, fried calamari and crab rangoon. Calamari was a tad too salty but it was lightly battered and well cooked not overdone! 2 — bathrooms are down stairs, handicap accessible on main level. Downstairs all standard stalls locked shut in both restrooms — unpleasant smell too. 4 — service was attentive and friendly. Overall a very good experience.

I had my wedding banquet at their old place. The staff were friendly and accommodating! Food was delicious! I moved out-of-state, I will definitely check out this place when I’m back.

This place is the best! I come in here for the best Mai Thai’s around, but their food is great too! I’ve ordered different entrees each time and taste and proportions are huge! If you like extra spicy generals chicken, I haven’t found a better place in New England that can match this place!

Came to Shangri-La on a Saturday for lunch. They have a menu with the traditional American Chinese restaurant cuisine. Despite not being very busy, service here was a little slow. The food was average. Very good fried rice, but the General Tso’s chicken was not as good as expected. Price point for lunch is very good with lunch specials under $ 10.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. And unfortunately, it’s for a very easily avoidable reason. I’ve been ordering from this place for the last 3 years, and mainly because of their convenient delivery option that makes it wonderful to not have to leave my home after a 12 hour work day and still have wonderfully tasting Sushi and Chinese food(the food is something I refuse to attack for this particular place). However, like I have been doing for the last 3 years, I decided that on my day off, I would place an online order for some lunch while I had a home project going on(and the online ordering was great because –and this is not a racial driven comment whateversoever but the god honest truth– that NOONE there can take down a proper order. I mean, COMEON. How can you not understand the word«Crab Rangoon» while you work at an Oriental establishment!?) So I place my order, and per usual, I wait the usual 45 minutes for delivery(keep in mind this is usually for an order of Crab rangoon, beef teriyaki, and seaweed salad… not exactly anything that takes a great deal of time to make, or deliver from a business less than 5 miles from my house). So I call to see if my order was received, as it had been an issue once in the past that it wasn’t, to be greeted by a man who simply stated«We no deliver there anymore», to which my stunned response was first of all, «Why not??» and second of all, «Was anyone actually going to call and tell me this!?“His response was, and I kid you not, «You order to much and we too busy», to which my response was, «I order to much and THATS why you won’t deliver to me??» Now, the reason I’ve always been kind on the ridiculous delivery time, is because I do usually place my order at 8:00 p.m. on a Tuesday, or Wednesday night, and working in the restaurant business, I can relate that even still being well into the evening, the bar can be rather busy at that time. And I only order from this place maybe twice a month(at upwards to $ 50 an order). But 1:00 pm on a Tuesday afternoon? And you have the gaul to make me sit around waiting for my food without so much as a phone call for an hour?(with no intention of calling at all!) Absolutely uncalled for. And for that reason, never again will I give this place my business, nor my good word of mouth. I find it outstanding how some of the places with the best food, can really let something as simple as calling a customer up to say, «I’m sorry, but you’re food can’t be delivered there»(even though that excuse is complete asinine) really take a hit to their business without need. I guess I’ll live with that one star, as now I’ll save my self a couple bucks not spending my money there 2 times a month. So I guess at least thanks for that!

This place is good. They don’t hold back on the hot pepper. I had ma po tofu, wonton soup, and Szechuan-style green beans. All three were excellent. Green beans were slathered in dry hot pepper and ma la seeds. Awesome. The ma po was searingly hot(as requested). Adding some ground pork and fermented black beans would’ve been nice. I wonder if they leave out the pork unless requested. Some places do that. Even though they FORGOTTHERICE, which is a MORTALSIN with ma po tofu, I’d repeat this restaurant.

One of my new favorite spots in Worcester. Located right on Front Street in downtown Worcester, the big windows offer a beautiful view of the common. The bar that spans the whole back wall of the restaurant is where we usually sit. The menu offers a bunch items you’d expect to find at a Chinese food restaurant in addition dishes you may not be familiar with(I should add that there are awesome vegetarian options!). There is also a sushi menu with old and new favorites(the cucumber avocado roll is MY favorite). The food is always hot and fresh(and when they say something is going to be spicy, it is going to be SPICY!). The scorpion bowls pack a punch and the Mai Tais are worth going back for. The service at the bar has always been friendly and attentive. Awesome spot!

Well… The food is still good. But the service kind of sucks… The waitress never came back and one of our meals came late… So one star for that. Also, if you’re white… Not chinese or Asian, don’t expect anything special. All the chinese tables around us were given generous helpings of fruit with their checks… She slammed two fortune cookies down on our table… And we were never offered any tea like they were… So def a star for that. Still like the food, will come back. But don’t like being treated differently than the Asian diners!
