If they were open 24/7, I’d give them 10 stars. But good news, they are open Sat 8 – 2 and Sun 10 – 4 now in addition to their regular M-F 5:30−8 hours. So glad they listened and decided to open on Sundays! I only give them 4 stars because the hours really suck for students.

St. V’s is an epicenter of health and wellness, Worcester Fitness being quite literally the fitness peak. Complete with a killer view and state of the art locker-room accommodations, Worcester Fitness makes a visit to the gym both convenient and enjoyable for their members. The staff will validate your parking with a smile and make sure that you are having a lovely day every single time you step off the elevator. If you’ve got to squeeze in a central Mass workout, this is the place to do it.(If you’re looking for all of this, plus a social scene that will keep you looking your best — the Grove Street location is ideal.)

Let me be clear, this rating is because of my feeling about the recent announcement of change in hours. This particular Worcester fitness has great employees and is super clean. I wish the ownership would reconsider this terrible business decision. I just learned that they are cutting hours — including closing completely on Saturdays. Not convenient at all! Want us to go to the Grove Street location — only issue is that Grove Street is nothing like the St V’s location. Employees here are friendly and it’s clean, Grove Street has neither of those things going or it. I have discussed the condition of Grove Street location with staff before and nothing changes, except it may be worse now. Maybe time to see what else is out there for gyms if I am not able to workout here weekends or late night.

This facility is located on the 6th floor of St. Vincent’s Hospital. It is brightly lit most of the time due to the skyline ceiling. It is also very clean, the gym room, the upstairs working out space, the equipments, the locker room and the bathrooms. Most of the time when I come, the place isn’t crowded. The most crowded time is around 5 – 6 p.m. Even then, it isn’t so bad and there are machines/weights available for me use. Since it’s located in a hospital, most of the patrons are professionals and students. The equipments are fairly new. The room is spacious. The staff is friendly. Overall, I really like coming here. You can park in the garage and get your ticket validated at the front desk.
