Mike’s Truck Stop Towing & Recovery

Wow! We stopped here this past Sunday to fill up on some gas and there was a D’Angelos here, too. We were on our way to our nearby campground. We were pulling a travel trailer.
We pulled in where it said «trucks» and parked our blazer that was pulling an 18 foot camper. I guess this place has showers for truckers. I don’t know all I wanted was a freaking D’Angelo’s roll up and to get some gas and be on our way. We walked in and everyone in the place was pissed off. I have never seen so many angry people in one place at one time.
This is what we encountered (I felt like we were in the Twilight Zone):
Lady behind register looking like she wanted to kill us for entering store. and pissed. CHECK!
Lady SCREAMING AT THE TOP OF HER LUNGS: «MOVE YOUR VEHICLES FROM BEHIND THE BUILDING IMMEDIATELY NO PARKING!!! PARK ALL VEHICLES ACROSS THE STREET!!!».CHECK!
Lady telling poor trucker who just wanted to buy a soda to F**k off and get out.CHECK.and yes. I’m dead serious!
ok.now there’s a D’Angelo’s in here… I thought. hey they have to be nice, right?
OH HELL NO… I thought they were going to tear my face off from my ears when I asked how many pieces came with the new quesadillas! Gee, I’m so sorry I wanted to order something. I was so nervous I ordered a steak and cheese by accident when I really wanted a Chix Roll UP. I was afraid to change it.
I have no idea why anyone would want to go to this place and really feel bad for the poor truckers that deal with these women! Wow! I just wanted to hug that poor guy that wanted that soda. It was horrible! I almost bought it for him. He was so thirsty. poor fella.

has showers, a café, repart shop, trailer wash out, truck parking.
if you have never been to that part of the county, it will meet your needs and that is about it, truck parking is hard to come by up there and so is a clean shower, but they do have showers, food is what it is. service is so so…
