Carousel Village is a quirky little gem of a place hidden in a beautiful part of Bucks County. It has something for all ages. Our group included a young toddler, parents, and grandparents, and all of us had a great time. One of the highlights of Carousel Village is their circa 1890’s carousel ride complete with hurdy gurdy music. Another is an open air train ride which travels around the property through their growing Christmas tree farm, and stops occasionally to give riders a good view of different animals — miniature cows, donkeys, an alpaca, turkeys, peacocks, an emu, miniature ponies, and miniature goats. There’s an antique shop, an artisanal Bucks County ice cream parlor with amazing flavors, an incredible health food store, and a plant nursery and a few more stores that we didn’t get to explore. There’s nice seating for outside eating or relaxing under a shady pavilion. Looking forward to our next visit.

Carousel Village is a strange collection of businesses. Some kiddie amusements, including a train that takes you to see some animals, an antique carousel, a couple of other rides, a couple of shops your grandma would like, a couple of places to eat, a gym, a christmas tree farm, and a nursery. They host events periodically which have included outdoor movies and ‘butterfly day’. It has an obstacle course which is apparently used only for some sort of race, a few times a year. We happened upon Carousel Village accidentally and we really enjoyed a couple of hours eating ice cream, riding the train and poking around.
