This place is great! It’s like walking into a time machine when you step through the door. Old school diner with a small town feeling. Amazing food, fast and friendly service at a low price. I got the double decker with fries and slaw and a coffee for $ 9.50. Can’t beat it! Definitely will make a return visit in the near future.

Exactly what I needed-​a fast, well prepared lunch at a fantastic price! I got the fried chicken special with two sides. Awesome. Just like mom used to make. Refills were filled before I could ask and I was in and out in less than fifteen minutes. All for under $ 10.

If a great small town diner is what you’re looking for, this is it!
Been here a few times now, typically for breakfast, and everything’s been good. Today’s special was 2 eggs, bacon, homefries toast and coffee for $ 6.75. Had an option to add gravy to my taters, so I took it. Best decision made so far today!
But the food is just the start. The environment is small town, Mayberry USA. Nascar stuff all over the walls and a bunch of locals shooting the breeze. Seems like everyone knows everyone, talking across tables about current events and the weather. One of ya’ll took a shot at me about the fancy dancy laptop (iPad) I was working on, while rarely looking up from his smart phone over the brim of his John Deere hat. The irony fits so well in a place like this.
The owner is always here, looks to be about 70 years old, and doing everything from running coffee when it’s busy to sitting with the patrons and chatting. Today’s waitress does an excellent job at being attentive, keeping the coffee full, and getting your food to the table right after it comes off the grill. You’ll know her if you hear her– sounds like she’s smoked cigarettes for life.
Been here for lunch once. Not as good as breakfast, which is what this review is about. If you’re in Xenia, you gotta give this place a try.

Wonderful food and great service. Portions were big. I highly recommend. Bring cash though cause they don’t accept cards.

Great mom & pop place. We went for breakfast. Several options and great prices. Biscuits and gravy was my favorite.
