This business is comically bad. My husband and I were recently looking for a new rental house and all of the ones we were interested in happened to be managed by Wilson Property Management. The appointment for the first house we were scheduled to see was at 10:30. Unbeknownst to us, the entire city of Union Gap was under construction, and we showed up at exactly 10:36 – 6 minutes late – just as the Wilson employee was backing out of the driveway to leave. Thankfully, she saw us arrive, pulled back in, and re-entered house while we parked. When we walked in, she said«The bedrooms are in the back» and gestured with a waive of her hand. No «Hi,» no introduction, no «nice to meet you.» About ten seconds later(literally) she then says«I have about 2 minutes.» My husband pushed back, saying that he was told that they schedule viewings for a half-hour. She explained that that includes her travel time in both directions(driving from a prior appointment and to the next). We were 6 minutes late, sure. But given that she only had 2 minutes to give us after our arrival, that means, at the very most, we had 8 minutes to view the apartment and ask any questions we might of had. The second and third house viewings were just marginally better. All 3 houses that we looked at were in terrible condition, the yards consisted of 2 foot tall weeds growing in dirt(no actual grass), and an eviction notice was still posted to one of the doors. I mean, if a company can’t be bothered to tidy up their properties to a reasonable degree before showing them to prospective renters, there would be even less incentive for it perform basic repairs and maintenance once the properties are rented out. It became clear that we just overall don’t want to do business with this company. We basically felt that they saw us – prospective renters – as an inconvenience, and that they thought they were doing us a big favor by showing us houses. Because it seems Wilson largely monopolizes the Yakima rental market, my husband and I have decided to stay put in our current rental house for now. It’s not perfect, but at least we trust and respect our landlord!

Haven’t even moved into my unit yet, but already it has been a complete nightmare. Signed a lease for a unit I was told would be ready to move in to by first of the month. Tried to give them the notification that I would arriving to gather the keys, etc on the third; asked them to return my call and heard nothing. Was in town to move a few things in before returning to Seattle for work. When I went to the office, they told me they had to confirm that the unit was ready to move into and sent a maintenance member over to the unit. They insisted they would call me as soon as they found out the status of the unit. Multiple times I informed them that I was traveling between the two cities and needed to know ASAP. Flash forward five hours, and I had to call them to confirm that it was available. I’m dreading signing the lease already; their communication is abhorrent and their concern with assisting their residents is non-existent.

This business should really get zero stars– they are awful! Myra, a property manager is the worst! The company tries to scam renters out of deposits, along with scare them into getting kicked out when the smallest thing is wrong. Example– there was a small less than green patch of grass during a really hot summer– wilson told us that if we didn’t fix it we would get kicked out! They are horrible and I would avoid them at all costs if possible!

Lots of stories circulating regarding this business. It appears they do their best to scam customers out of their deposit money. Take pictures before you sign anything with these people.
