The men’s room was tight, and the line at the Starbucks was unacceptable.

Yeah, another Jersey rest stop that is overpriced, not clean, smelly bathrooms, and with employees that don’t want to be here. Here’s why I stop here… good food??? No. Need a Coffee? No. Simply because I won’t make it to the next rest stop to use the rest room… Yeah, I could use the side of the road, but I’d rather not risk the ticket. it is what it is… a rest stop with food and gas… It’s not meant to be a destination so it’s never going to be great.

This rest stop on the turnpike is one we do stop at frequently when we make the trip from Virginia to upstate New York. Bathrooms(women’s) is always clean, there’s a few things to grab and eat here, and gas stations are never crazy busy like the other sunocos on the turnpike

It is a NJ rest area, not better or worse than the rest. relatively clean bathrooms and quick Starbuck staff. No Nathan’s hot dogs though but they are remodeling a fragrance outlet.

Its a rest stop, what more can you say! Has average fast food, pricey, but not surprising. My roast beef sandwich was made ot order, which was nice that it wasn’t sitting around and cold. The fries, on the other hand, were soggy and cold and had a wafting odor that didn’t make eating it very appealing. I ate about half of the package and threw the rest out. Bathrooms are adequate, would have been better if they were cleaner and didn’t smell like urine was all over the floor and if the guy in the next stall would have stopped yakking on his cell phone. Its a bathroom, I mean really, can’t it wait until you finish! Its a basic rest area, nicer than what the rest area eatery and restroom facilities were like in the 70’s and 80’s, but back then people took more pride in keeping up cleanliness standards.

Why do some rest areas look like they haven’t changed décor since the 70’s or 80’s? We came here at night so it was pretty empty. It was okay for cleanliness as far as bathroom goes but it could be because it was late. There was a Roy Rogers and Pizza Hut which reinforces the idea of the 70’s or 80’s.

Woodrow Wilson Service Area, North bound on the NJ Turnpike– First why is the exit ramp a mile long??? Several of the vendors have closed. Men’s room not that great; they try to squeeze too many urinals in one room! Who design the restroom don’t understand restrooms!

Rest stop with gas station as well as food center, bathrooms included. Not bad, decently clean. This is a frequent stop for me when returning from out of state.

Dirty bathrooms. The food concessions are a joke. The servers are slow,(as in zombie-like) and at 8:25pm the Pizza Hut is OUTOFFOOD. Whoever the manager is needs to be re-trained. Definitely a turn for the worst since the last time I stopped in here.

Gas station attendants are very nice but the food here is horrible. I had the Quiznos steak sub and I couldn’t take more than 3 bites of it. The steak looks like grounded dog food. The cashier looked as though she hated everything and everyone in this place. Depressing experience

Your average rest stop. Overpriced convenience store. Slightly better than average food choices(Pizza Hut, Starbucks). But also a little dirty. Big ladies room, clean. Men’s room was big but not clean — biggest ‘bubes’(as we call them belly*ubes) you ever saw in each and every urinal :(yuck.

My NJ Turnpike cherry is popped. I succumbed to traffic fatigue driving from Dulles, VA to Jamaica, NY and pulled into one of the many service areas whose west coast correlates usually only have standalone restrooms, a few vending machines, pet relief area and trees. At 10 at night you find a closed perfume stand, a fast food court, a gas station and a gift shop staffed by people who, like you, would rather be anywhere else but there. A hot pretzel costs $ 2.49 and my two bags of chips cost me more than $ 5 so you’re not saving any cash, but on the plus side there’s lots of parking!

As far as NJ highway rest stops go this place is very nice. It really is run like a pit stop. It’s toward the south side of New Jersey. It’s smaller, newer, cleaner, and easy to get in and out without risking your life on the highway interchange and navigating the parking lot. The folks working the gas station understand you’re not vacationing there and get you on your way quickly. Even the Starbucks inside generally moves quicker than normal non corporate locations. The rest of the food here is absolutely fast food poison that you should never eat.

At around 12 noon on a winter weekday the Woodrow Wilson service area was mostly empty. There was a short line at the Starbucks(love their soy lattes) and no line at the food court. The fruit in the refrigerator case were very fresh and perfectly ripe. I got grapes and strawberries. The restrooms were in good shape, actually in the process of being cleaned while I was there. The line at the Sunoco was short as well, and the service was fast and efficient. I have no complaints.

Literally a quick stop to get AND leave water. Female toilet wasn’t that clean but maybe that yellow liquid in the first three toilets I attempted to use was disinfectant and not what I thought. Ladies, please pay attention to your children in public toilets. Hell PAYATTENTION period! There was a little girl about 4⁄5 years old running around knocking on toilet doors asking«mumny mummy?». Her mummy(I’m assuming it was) answered after several calls to tell her to «shut up!». What a display. The End.

You would think being a turnpike service area this place would stand out. Substandard service area at best. The bathrooms were horrible… dirty and nasty. Plan on «going» and getting out quick or keep heading down the pike! A bite to eat? Forget it! The lines are s.l.o.w going. The only saving grace is there’s a Starbucks. Then again… the lines are s.l.o.w.

Typical rest stop. Nothing too great about it. They have a Starbucks(with a ridiculously long line), Burger King, and magazine/deli shop. Bathrooms reasonably clean.

People go to rest areas for a few simple reasons. Among them: 1. To take a worry-free piss and/or shit 2. To eat(ideally with minimal hassle) 3. To get gas and fill up your tank So how does this particular rest area fit the bill? Well here’s a tip — all the problems I plan on listing … it all begins with the fact that this rest station is situated in a common bottleneck area on NJ turnpike. More often than not, traffic is congested here for a variety of reasons. That means a lot of people who need to piss/shit/eat/get gas will all congregate here in favor of getting stuck in traffic. In terms of the following: Worry free-piss/shit — the bathrooms here are filthy. Not surprising given the high amount of human traffic. The ratio of unflushed shit to flushed shit toilets is uncomfortably high. Hassle free eating — the lines here for food get long, partially due to high volume traffic, but also due to the painfully inept and unmotivated staff. On several occasions I’ve noticed only the managers were the ones who had the mental aptitude or energy to provide any form of reasonable service. Don’t be surprised if you’re craving Roy Rogers chicken, or pepperoni Pizza from Pizza Hut, only to find the section empty. Good luck hunting down someone who’s awake to tend to the issue. At least they have TVs in the dining area. Getting gas — again, due to fears of getting stuck in heavy traffic, a lot of people decide to divert here to get gas. That means long lines. Rarely have I come across a time outside of the wee hours of day(or night) when the gas lines weren’t long as hell. You could probably take in an episode of your favorite TV show by the time you actually get the gas you want. If you MUST stop here to take a crap — just make sure your hammies are in shape so you can do the floating dump technique.

Smaller one on the tpk Arbies, sandwich place, Starbucks and the typical stop shop place… Had a cheese burger and fries from arbies which are already pre-made. Just grab and go. Unfortunately the fries seemed like they were not fresh and had been sitting under the great lamp for a while(of course you don’t know until you try one). If you want fresh food and can hold out for the next rest stop I recommend it! It is bigger with more food options!
