Broadway Diner

I love it his diner. After boycotting the one close to me, I started frequenting this diner. I have not been disappointed. Sure the service can use a little help but not be much. The food is great. Love their chicken salad sandwiches and their burgers. For a quick bite, decent price, go to Broadway Diner.

they don’t give a crap about your experience there and the food is so mediocre.

This used to be a great diner. Open ²⁴⁄₇ with great service and large menu with very good food. Specials were also better than expected. Things changed for the worse s few years back. The parking lot is always empty, not ²⁴⁄₇ anymore food quality is no longer what is used to be. Always brought the whole family (wife, kids, in-​laws) about once a week. Now I won’t even go by myself. Very disappointed.

I have been to the dinner plenty of time but lately the service is has gotten so badly. I went and wanted to have home fries (which has onions) eggs and bacon I’m allergic to fresh onions so I specifically asked for them with out onions the waitress said they can’t make them because there already made like that. So I decided to ask for the manager and it was the worst experience I had ever had with a manager, me being a Manager of a restaurant myself. I asked her again for the home fries without onions because I can’t eat them how they serve them and she said to me oh no well there’s no way. I said but there’s people that can’t eat it or don’t like onions I don’t understand how you say no to a customer I was just shocked. She said well idk what to tell you maybe you can go somewhere else where they can make it said I will gladly take my business else where I got up and she mumble under her breath fucking bit**. I’m sorry but if I can’t eat it that’s your solution?

Went to this diner with my sister. We got seated right way. But yet it took 20 mins before our server came over just to get us coffee or apps! I would have understood if it was packed but we could see her talking to her fellow coworkers. And than she complained that all her tables have given her $ 3 tips. I would give you a $ 3 tip too if you have the same service to us but I didn’t. Because I’m a sever too. Not going back ever

It’s a diner. Not saying that diner food cannot taste like more than diner food, but this one doesn’t. I ate the cowboy burger? the burger that comes with coleslaw … Always get medium well. I’m now on a no dark meat diet… so I wouldn’t return. IF YOURE EATING BURGERS I SAY YES. especially on a drunk night or a long night after some fun.

Went here for Valentine’s Day and it was empty so we expected to get served right away. I ordered a cowboy burger with fries, my brother ordered the steakhouse burger, his wife ordered the fettuccine shrimp pasta, and my husband ordered a cowboy burger. We got water from the bus boy who couldn’t speak a lick of English. He gave me and my sister in law a straw but not the guys. They didn’t have fettuccine pasta so instead we opted for the linguine. They took about 20 minutes to bring us bread and pretzels. And another 25 – 30 minutes for our food. The food was good but the service was bad. Their excuse for the straws was «oh, he’s a new bus boy but I see he brought the girls straws Lolz». I also realized they only had 1 server for the entire restaurant who was an older Hispanic lady. Overall the experience was bad nothing like how it was in the early 2000’s. I more than likely will not give them another chance.

I’m a regular here at the diner. Usually I expect okay service at best, but this time was just horrible.
The waiter came and brought all of the food out to my table, everyone’s food EXCEPT mine.
I waited another 15 minutes for him to bring out a simple order of nachos.
My rating on the food would maybe be a ⁶⁄₁₀ and my rating on the service would be about a ²⁄₁₀.

I order a slice of cake and it taking over an hour to get here. Also, I live around the corner. It’s stupid cold outside and this restaurant is just ridiculous. Never ordering again. Also, the staff is so rude and just need to work one phone skills. Grubhub needs to remove them.

Ordered from this diner on seamless. Asked for very specific things as we weren’t feeling well (i.e. Cream cheese on the side of our bagel so we could put a small amount on or no tomatoes on our sandwich). We ordered four items, all four were completely incorrect for various reasons.
Called to complain and asked for our order to be sent again. The front desk rep asked if it would be okay to only give us half an order back since it was so expensive to replace an entire order. Why would that be okay? We were hungry and it was late because the order took an hour to get there. We weren’t going to order it from somewhere else and wait another hour.
Took about 40 minutes to get our order back the right way and it was missing the bagel! Seamless refunded us because we didn’t want to talk to them anymore. We will not order from them again. And we won’t be visiting there either. God knows what happens when you visit.

This is a good, solid diner, and should be rated based on what you’d expect out of a diner. I avoided this place for a long time due to the low reviews until I finally came tonight because of the snow storm and it being the only place open. The diner is very clean, service was friendly and quick, the prices are fair, and the food was good and came out fast. It was actually a pretty perfect diner experience.

Bland diner food, friendly but subpar service. What are ya gonna do? This place is thankfully open super late and quick seating, definitely big pluses when you’ve been out all night and just want a comfortable place to have some fries and a burger. Decent prices, clean place, easy parking. Don’t try their Manhattan :/​in fact, just stick with a beer.

Good place to go if it’s past 2am and you need some greasy food after a night of drinking. Okay spot if you want breakfast

I’ve been here a couple of times and it’s a pretty standard diner. They basically have everything you want. There is burgers, pastas, breakfast items, etc. The price is pretty cheap and the quality is again what you pay for. One thing nice is that their servers are the friendliest people and you can always have a good conversation. Also, there’s parking and its open lare, which is an extra perk when your hungry late night. So check it out for a quick bite.

This place is either a hit or miss with people. It IS a DINER so don’t expect the most amazing food you have ever tried, because I’ve yet to go to a diner with the best food ever. But this place has good food. I live close by so I’ve come here a couple of times over the years. The staff is friendly, and attentive. Ordered the Cheeseburger with fries last time. Decent food. The breakfast is average. Definitely would go somewhere else for breakfast though, but nice for a quick stop for lunch. They’re also open for like ever it seems, so if you’re hungry at 3 am for a burger, don’t hesitate to go, and ask for bacon on your burger because bacon all day.

Attention all spanakopita lovers. (Thank would be spinach pie for all others). This is the best spinach pie I have ever eaten ever. Even better than in Astoria, Queens where there are tons of good Greek restaurants. I couldn’t believe my taste buds. It has been less than 12 hours since I last ate it and want more. It was served with a generous delicious Greek salad. Plenty of feta in it. Plenty of kalamata olives. The most delicious dressing on the side. Also came with lentil soup which was tasty but needed salt. I was happy, happy, happy.
Hubby had broiled bluefish which he loved with baked potato and steamed broccoli. But the matzah ball soup which came with it sucked. No one has ever accused me of using this word in a review. NEVER. But this soup made me do it. It was salty as hell, unflavorful and the matzoh ball was worthy of spitting out which I did.
The bread on the table was just ok and not as fresh as it could have been.
But boy-​oh boy that spinach pie was simply amazing. Hubby said the bluefish was great too. But who on this planet eats oily bluefish???
I’m coming back for that spinach pie!!!

2am and the only place open in the area. Ordered the steaks and eggs: it comes with toast and home fries. Steak was medium as i ordered but not even a grain of salt or pepper, same for the eggs. I ate the fatty parts since they seems to have some kind of flavor but left more than half the steak on the plate. eggs are eggs and you cant messed them up but yeah these were not even nice. the menu says that they use 3 eggs but it seems like it was 1 with a bit of milk to make it expand more.
prices are high for this being a dinner and in Yonkers.
BOO, not coming again
PS: they do have a nice waiter at night that seems to have been there for ages, he still has the same attitude from the first time i saw him. great employee i suppose.

I live in the area and have eaten here twice, only because their portions are so huge and I am trying to watch my girlish figure :0)
Based on the two times I have eaten here, though, my experiences have been nothing but good. The staff is very friendly and very accommodating. I have only gotten breakfast here but have heard that the Cowboy Burger is both, huge and amazingly good.
My husband and I were surprised we hadn’t come back more often. We will. This is definitely a nice spot to incorporate a weekly breakfast tradition.
