CVS Pharmacy

Yes… it’s a drug store. For the most part, you will find what you’re looking for. The problem with this particular location is the wonderful «self check-​out» registers that were installed in place of people several years back. *(Note: «wonderful» as in sarcasm detected!!)* …This place used to be staffed with «humans» that got the job done one, two, three! Now there are these stupid-​ass machines that barely work right. What makes this sillier is the fact that «humans» have to be on stand-​by because the stupid-​ass machines are malfunctioning most of the time! And forget it if you have a decent amount to be rung up. You better hope that either a human is nearby or there is a human-​manned register opened. I was in around Valentine’s Day & there was one person there doing check-​outs. I got lucky that day… but I don’t usually see this happening anymore.
Things to expect:
~Machines talking/​freezing for no apparent reason which halts the check-​out process until a human arrives to fix the problem (sometimes only temporarily)…
~Bagging — if not done just right — will cause the machine to start talking/​freezing which means again, must wait for a human to arrive to fix the problem.
*Note: from my experience, there is only so much room on the bagging area. A few times I’ve had quite a bit to ring up & have had to remove a full bag or two & place on the ground so I could continue ringing up & bagging. The machines do not like that too much & I guess it thinks you are trying to steal stuff. It will then start vocalizing over & over to «please place your items in the bag», or your last item may not appear to be rung up, etc & you just have to wait for a human to arrive & fix the friggin’ problem once again!
~Forget about it if you decide to purchase one of those 24 packs of water along with other items to be rung up AND bagged!
So… if you have very few items that you need to buy, you might have a chance of getting in & out. Just don’t forget that there may be others with larger orders at the wonderful self check-​out registers and… who can say for sure how long you might be waiting!
Conclusion — self check-​out registers = lame, stupid, ANNOYING, time-​wasting bunch of BS
HUMAN CASHIERS ROCK (in comparison)…

This CVS is always busy. It’s a minute away from myself.
The place is staffed with good and efficient people. I love coming here. They got good deals at times.
The best part is the pharmacy department.
The staff same way are so friendly, helpful and very efficient in what they do.
Been coming here for ages and they haven’t change but became better.
I love their text messages Every time you fill your script, they send you a message when your medication is ready for pick up or you can wait few minutes while they prepare your meds. They got good answers with each question.
Excellent staff here. Good deals.
