Guapo’s is one of me and my friends favorite places to eat lunch or dinner. The drinks are always good the, complementary chips and salsa are amazing. I’ve recently become a vegetarian and the entire menu is accommodating the elotes are to die for. However yesterday it was a large loud party going on. Me and my three friends were rushed along and the service wasn’t as good as usual.

Delicious place. Nice décor. Friendly staff and fresh food. It’s our daughters favorite go to place. Nando is an excellent host who knows the menu and is sure to have only the highest quality ingredients in the food!

Came here for happy hour on a Friday night(happy hour ends at 7pm btw) 20% off drinks, the drinks are great, the ambiance is pretty nice and wasn’t packed when we came in and sat at the bar, they also serve food here as well, as soon as you sit down they give you salsa and chips which were warm, I ordered the large steak quesadilla and it was very tasty but I wasn’t full so I ordered a side of rice and beans which really hit the spot, great Mexican food, drinks and friendly bartenders, I’d definitely be back!

This has got to be the best mexican spot I’ve ever been to! Their food is amazing. I got the steak chimichanga. It was SO good! I steak inside was marinated well and was cooked to perfection. The sauces they had on the plate were so good too! Along with the chimichanga they brought out a side of rice and beans. Which was okay. The beans were good but the rice could have been cooked a little bit more. The drinks were amazing! The guapo rita was amazing and they also had $ 2 tequila shots! Who doesn’t like $ 2 tequila shots??? Overall customer service was prompt. Our server was amazing and the food was excellent. I will be going there again! Good job Guapo!

Let’s see where to start… no ambience what so ever then the ice tea tastes like powdered ice tea the rice tasted like boxed rice and was super cold the beans had no flavor and the waiter put the bottom of a used plate in top of my steak… Safe to say I’m not coming back

Went here tonight for dinner with my husband and they definitely upped the service from my last visit. Unfortunately the guacamole was a little bland but at least we were able to get some this time. The margarita was on point! I mean really strong with not too much sour. I had the parillada tradicional and I’ve never had cactus before but the entire dish was delicious… And huge! It was way too much food for me to eat but well worth the $ 19 price tag. My husband wasn’t too happy with his flautas because they’re serving a different portion size now but he ate half my dish and decided he’d try it the next time we go. And of course we’ll go again because we live down the block and love to support local businesses.

I think all these reviews are hoax. Just left after a lunch that wasn’t my choice. I asked for guacamole, they had no avocados, asked for mild salsa — no have it. Then ordered skirt steak. Surprise, surprise — they didn’t have it. What Mexican restaurant doesn’t have basic food. Beware

Have been here twice. First time was when they were recently opened and had a terrible meal. My husband talked me into trying again. Guac is really good so I have to give props there. My margarita was tasty and potent. Beware happyhour is buy one, get your second drink free. Not half priced drinks. They don’t tell you this until they’ve brought your first drink. It was a weeknight so I wasn’t about to dip into a second cocktail. We ordered veggie enchiladas which arrived quickly. I’ll take some of the blame here– i should have asked what’s in them first. I assumed they’d contain what one would consider real vegetables. Green peppers and onions seem like a pretty anemic thing to call your vegetarian option. Almost tragic. Maybe it’s just me. Rice had an unpleasant texture. Like it had been reheated a couple of times(I’m Cuban – I know rice). Surprised that this spot is affiliated with Zuppa. Have had many good experiences there. If you’re craving mexican in Yonkers i would recommend Tacos el Poblano. Their carnitas are off the hook and guac is super. If you’re willing to venture north, La Chinita Poblana in Irvington is great.

Was a bit skeptical as there was a little hang out right out front of the palace but decided to try it out since we were around the area. Our dishes were completely GREAT! The service was good and service was also good. I would definitely recommend this place if you are around the area!

I’ve dined at this restaurant twice b4 deciding to write a review… dined here last summer and didn’t really care that much for the food but I decided to try again once more in the future b4 giving my opinion. Ate here a couple nights ago, dined outside… the outside dinning for this establishment isn’t the greatest depending on where you’re seated. Had to constantly reposition my chair and even table for pedestrians passing by which became annoying and ridiculous after a while. Staff/waiter was very friendly but my server was not knowledgeable of the menu at all. After eating my fried shrimp and mash potatoes entrée I was a little disappointed, especially disappointed in my appetizer dish, didn’t satisfy my tastebuds enough! Hey, I gave this restaurant two tries b4 deciding it’s not for me!

Went here last Friday before the 4th, the music was so loud I could barely have a conversation with my bf. It was also soo dark I could barely see my food. They also had some sort of singing thing for customers. I’m all for fun, but not way too loud. The food was great but they need to make up there mind on food or club/bar? What are they catering too? More drinks or food? Not sure we will make the trip if the music is going to be that loud???

Came here with living social deal. The location is not that great, I had to take a look inside before we decided to come in. There is a small bar in the entrance and a few tables. There is a birthday party coming, and thee are about 3 tables at 7:00 pm on a Saturday. we ordered Victoria beer, caipirinha for $ 7, skirt steak with sautéed mushroom and onion, and a chipotle burrito. We were served with house made nachos with red salsa and spicy green sauce. The service is very slow and could have been better. He brought us wrong food, and when our real food arrived, my steak is well done instead of medium rare. I just didn’t complain anymore since our food took forever to arrive. The burrito is so, so, more on rice and not a taste of chipotle pork. We had the fried vanilla bean ice cream, and as they were serving it, the waiter poured a 151, lit it, sprinkled it with cinnamon and topped it with whipped cream. The desert is served in a small plate, the rum with cinnamon and ice cream didn’t really work. The bitterness from the rum it’s just making it inedible for the ice cream to be eaten. I’d give 3 stars cuz of the bartenders friendliness, the extra nachos he served us, and the living social deal we got.

I Went with a large group of people, to celebrate a special occasion, the staff is amazing they are so great, they gave a shot of tequila to one of my friend, the one that was celebrate the special occasion. We start to share some Appetizers Quatro four flauta: Crispy hand rolled corn tortillas stuffed of; chicken, chorizo, friend cheese or braised chicken. Served with shredded lettuce, they were huge, delicious and kind of messy but also so great and crunchy, It was scrumptious. Chips and guacamole: The guacamole was tasty and fresh and the salsa is unique absolutely delicious!!! We had it with nachos chips which were a big enough to deep on. My entrée I order the Churrasco with French Fries, holly beef(literally) this steak was huge, so huge that I was not able to finish it all, I think the steak is big enough for 2 people to share and the taste was so delicious that I have not had a good steak in a while. The fries was bad, I did not like the taste that had but the steak make it up for it. For drinks we had some sangria, not a big a fan of sangria but this one was very well done. The staff was wonderful, fast and very efficient. So a awesome meal, fresh ingredients, great service, and friendly staff and a nice atmosphere, what else you can ask for?

Guapo presents their food in a beautiful way and the service is amazing! Every time I’ve gone they were extremely attentive and even offered us business cards with free drinks or discounts for our next visit. They have us coming back over and over for the quesadillas cameron that are literally bursting with expertly flavored shrimp. I also recommend the cheese flautas and any of the enchiladas. The margaritas are strong but also delightful. Enjoy!
