Good food! Salmon scampi with asparagus with a side of angle hair pasta was delicious! My husband has the pork osso bucco and he said it was great. Flan and a cannoli for dessert were good too! Be careful if you order a cappuccino though. It was so hot, it left a tongue blister. (Only bad thing about the dinner) Will be back again!

My fiancée and I just moved around the border of Hastings and have always passed by this place on the Saw Mill Parkway with a nicely decorated beer garden. We finally visited and let me tell you, this place is amazing! It’s a nice cozy restaurant and was beautifully decorated for Christmas! We got the Caesar salad and calamari to start (which came out very quickly), both delicious. For the entrée we shared a truffle mushroom pizza, which was great! I think we’ve found our new go-​to restaurant. Next time you find yourself driving down the saw mill parkway near Hastings, go and have lunch or dinner here, you won’t regret it.

Wow — This hidden restaurant creates awesome Italian dishes. The cavatelli pasta dish with sausage and broccoli rabe was seasoned correctly, and the pasta was firm. The bread on the table had awesome crust, and garlic was added to the butter.

The definition of a hidden gem — such a great combination of amazing food, service & atmosphere.
Found this spot during Hudson valleys restaurant week & came in on a Saturday evening for dinner. The menu included a choice of an appetizer, main course & dessert — all in which were amazing. And to top the night off, they had a comedy show which are held on several Saturday’s throughout the year

Delicious! I brought my mom here for a late lunch, not knowing it was restaurant week and was pleasantly surprised. I came here once before with a co worker for my birthday and enjoyed it then too.
Mom had the Paddy Meatball for appetizer, the Pork Schnitzel with potatoes and the zeppoles for dessert. I had the chopped salad, the BRG burger and the zeppole sad well for dessert, they ran out of banana pudding.
I love places like this, it’s kinda like a hole in the wall, hard to find, but it’s definitely charming and worth the find! The food is well seasoned and delicious. David, our server was also very helpful and accommodating.

We are kicking ourselves to learn this has been open for so long and we just learned about it. Located between the Saw Mill and the Bike Path — it is the perfect place to stop in.
We have been cycling on the South County Trail for years not realizing this is exactly on the trail and they welcome Cyclists.
Food was very good. Only reason we gave them 4 stars was because food came out at separate times. So either people were waiting to eat and food was getting cold — or everyone was eating and one person was waiting. Otherwise — great.
Will go back.

Close to the Hilton in Yonkers. Plenty of parking. Delicious bread, house wine was v. good, tender steaks cooked perfectly, lobster bisque was the best I’ve ever had, inspiring salads.

This place is not easy to find. Located right off the Saw Mill Parkway in a very Isolated location. Which isn’t bad. So it’s a quiet location where you can have outside seating at nice picnic tables (nice on those good weather days), there is a small bar, and a decent sized dining area.
There service here is always good. I would hate to be here when there is a rush of folks coming though on a winter day, the restaurant might get a little tight then. The outside dining area is the best to me.
The food here is great. The calamari is always nice and flavorful with it’s nice orange looking olive sauce (what the ingredients were I dont recall). Mozzarella sticks were good, even the chicken wings were nice and flavorful, the chicken paninis here have been on point, taste fresh and never do you feel they are to oheavy (at least to me). Pizza here is nice and flavorful as well. It is hard for me not to like here anything here, I guess I wasnt a fan of salmon. Kind of just feel that if food is freshly good with high quality ingredients, you can’t go wrong, o and with the right amount of seasoning :).
The Desert I have here was superb with it’s presentation and taste :)

Food was delicious, portions are large. Started with calamari and special sauce and Cesar salad. Chicken parmigiana shared for two was an excellent choice. The meatball and ravioli was the best meatball we tasted and the cavatelli with sausage was great and light. The food is great, the service not so. Outdoor seating was very nice but the tables don’t fit plates and glasses for 4 people comfortably. We had to repeatedly as for items such as grated cheese and fresh ground pepper. I think those are staples that any restaurant should offer.

Great outdoor ambiance, great beer selection served nicely chilled and by the way the food was great. We had the calamari with spicy sauce which was excellent.

Very good Italian food. DELICIOUS Salads and pizza. Great outdoor seating with live music. Parking available and I love how they recycle & re-​use the can of tomatoes to use as a stand for the pizza. Definitely will be returning@

Driven by this place countless number times and even rode my bike right past several other times. Today we noticed a sign that said cyclist were welcome. After a long ride, some great Italian food and cold beer is pretty much a necessity. It was great they let us bring our bikes into the patio area were we were seated. We loved the garlic butter to the point we thought about asking for some to take to go. Their chopped salad and meatball pie were amazing. I cannot wait to go back and try something else.

Unbelievable. Always been good but now great. The BGB incredible. Everything we order is better than the last. We go once a week at least great neighborhood gem.

Just had the battaglia pie and it was perfectly cooked. We also had the calamari and it couldn’t have been better. Delicious! Can’t wait to come back and have some pasta.

Used to be good. Recent new ownership, change to menu, new chef, no so great. Done remodeling was done, that’s a plus but not the food

Delicious pasta and sauces! Wednesday night is 9.95 pasta night. Place was full and happy with regulars. Food is always delicious.
Have the zeppoles with Nutella to dip in. Decadent.

This place was awesome! I went for lunch. THey open at 11:30 and we got a table right away for a group of 7. The chopped salad with blackened chicken was delicious. We also got some appetizers: calamari which was unique because the calarmari pieces were large and came with a clear-​ish broth dipping sauce. We also got some bread with cheese thing. The marinara that came with it was delicious. Lastly, the desserts were to die for. The almond ice cream was amazing as was the lava cake. Definitely would go back!

The food was okay. I ordered the stuffed bread and the seafood pasta. My bf ordered regular pasta with penne ala vodka sauce, potato croquettes, and some appetizer I can’t remember for the life of me. The stuffed bread was really good. I wasn’t a huge fan of the pasta. It wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t great either. The décor itself was simple. Large enough to fit at least 100 – 150 people. The location is a bit obscure but I’m guessing it’s Yonkers’ secret. The bar was packed and it was hard to move through. Service was good though. I cannot complain. All in all, I wouldn’t go back unless my bf wants to.

I thought this place was decent, not amazing. I don’t have any major problems with the place, but I don’t think it stood out enough.
They do have some parking, although the whole place is hidden. It’s hard to see from the road, and I was almost sure we were heading the wrong way before I saw this place.
The food here was good, but nothing great. I got the eggplant rollatini and my gf got the carroza. Both were pretty good and tasted decent. They both had plenty of cheese, which I always appreciate.
For entrée, I got tortellini in vodka sauce with their mix and match option for pasta, and it was decent, but didn’t really stand out much. I didn’t like the vodka sauce as much as others, just seemed like it was missing a certain flavor. The saffron fettuccine was decent according to her, but I didn’t try it out.
The staff seemed nice and attentive.
I think for the price and the ratings I saw here, this was a bit of a disappointment. The food didn’t stand out enough, IMO, but obviously it’s just one sample size. If I go back there, I’ll update this one way or another. It’s food that is good, but I don’t think you are going to be amazed by anything here or think you got a steal. I would try it out again, but I wouldn’t have high hopes.
