This place is incredible! Have eaten here about 4 – 5 times already. People are friendly and great at recommending specials to your likes and dislikes.
The food is fresh, loaded with flavor and some of the best Greek food in westchester! The chicken souvlaki, the Greek burger special, the Greek salad… all delicious!
So if you are in the area on central avenue and hungry… pull over and get some awesome Greek food!

Drove by this truck many times and meant to try it… Finally did and have to say it was pretty darn good. Had the gyro and enjoyed every bite. Had a grilled chicken gyro there once and really loved that too. To be honest… I’ve never had anything I didn’t enjoy there. Worth giving a try!!!

I will start off by saying… Food is still good… Here’s my issue. I have been a dedicated consumer to the souvlaki truck religiously for over a year, as I live up the block. But in the past few months, their prices have inflated massively and their quantity has, well, deflated. I can understand the rising costs as everything does. But to raise the prices and give less food is quite unfair. Prime example. I love their avocado feta salad, which at one point cost $ 5.50. But now, they must use the SMALLEST hass avocado (yes just one) and overkill this AVOCADO salad with TOMATOES! And the current cost? $ 8.25. I’m sorry but this is absurd. PLEASE do something about this.

Love this food, always fresh and now they added a few more items to the menu as well as online ordering. Placed my order online and it was ready in $ 5 minutes and charged to my CC. Chicken and Gyro meats are amazing, love getting the plates with fries though, they are too good…

It’s at an interesting location, just on the shoulder in a pretty busy strip on Central Park Ave, but it wasn’t as difficult to get to or deal with as I thought it was going to be.
The food is VERY tasty and VERY generous in portions. I think a traditional gyro plate can come in many shades; the one I got here is definitely a greasy, food truck type, so maybe save it for a cheat day. Hit them up, you won’t be disappointed!

Stopped by The Souvlaki Truck a few weeks ago and it was great. The chicken kabob was very fresh and those OREGANO FRIES were AHHHMazinG! I also tried the salad which was fresh and delish. High recommended food truck!

Well worth the money as far as portions.
I got the gyro platter and it was awesome!
If I had to complain, I’d like a little more sauce with it because they give a good amount of meat

I have to say, for a food truck, the food is so on point, you can’t go wrong with anything you order from them. They have some of the best tasting Greek food by far. They give places like Lefteris a run for their money.
I must hit this truck at least 3 times a week, it’s that good. It’s convenient, the price is right and, they give great service as well. Portions are very good. The crispy Brussel sprouts are not even normal and their avocado salad is serious!!!
I’m pretty impressed that this food truck is as good as they are. Do not hesitate to make this your go to spot when you’re feeling Greek food. And they also have specials on most days, so its more of a reason to stop by and see what they’re offering.

This little gem is parked right before the Oakley’s Carwash on Central Ave. Here you will find greek food that is better than several dine in restaurants. I ordered the Gyro Platter and it was MASSIVE. It was actually comical how large it was. You definitely get your moneys worth. The platter had a greek salad, a large portion of gyro meat, tzatziki sauce, and Oregano Fries. Wow the fries were actually so ridiculous this truck can sell only french fries and I would come here just to buy them. Damn those fries were so crispy and seasoned. All the food was great except I thought the hummus was pretty average. I had some of my friends soulvaki pita and it was pretty awesome. I would recommend The Soulvaki Truck to anyone lookin for a quick greek fix.

This is my brother’s place so I’m 100% biased. BUT, I can tell you this. The sandwiches George is making right now are the exact same sandwiches we used to eat in my mom’s village in Greece when we were too little fatboys. Pork tenderloin, homemade tzatziki, tomatoes, onions and hand cut oregano french fries wrapped in a pita that’s been brushed with olive oil and grilled.
As soon as George graduated from the French Culinary Institute in NYC, he wanted to open this truck and recreate those sandwiches.
The inside of the truck has a charcoal grill, gyro rotisserie, 2 deep fryers and a few refrigerators. The whole things is lined with stainless steel — a legit restaurant kitchen on wheels.

After putting off visiting the The Souvlaki Truck for months, I finally made the pilgrimage down to Yonkers and PHANTASTIKÓS! The chicken souvlaki and gyro were on the money!
If you’re looking for top Greek cuisine but don’t have the time to sit at a restaurant or visit the Parthenon, The Souvlaki Truck is a must! The menu is not overwhelming so it’s very easy to maneuver the top selections. Their oregano fries are fresh and hearty; not a soggy greasy texture that most trucks serve.
The staff is very attentive and quick. As soon as a customer appeared at their window, the customer was greeted warmly by Peter and Christina and their order was placed. Once the order was taken, Peter & George (the owner) worked their magic on the grill.
The food is fresh, savory and authentic. If you’re in the Yonkers area, make a beeline to The Souvlaki Truck!
If you’re not in the area, the question is … What are you waiting for?
Even Zeus himself would be brought to his knees by the savory flavors!

I’m always surprised when a food truck is better than the surrounding restaurants. I loved the food. Best Greek food in the area outside of Astoria. The seasoning was a bit salt heavy but unlike other places in the area this is dirt cheap and good.
$ 6 for a Gyro or Souvlaki is great for Westchester. This about ½ of what everyone else charges.
The crew is friendly and prep is fast. I’m a big proponent of going where there is a line. And there always is. Even today with the sky about to open.

Quick and delicious food truck with immensley fragrant and well seasoned food. The food is more upscale than the typical food cart. Decent prices and generous portions makes this food truck a must have stop for lunch, etc. The staff is soooo nice. Everything about this food truck makes it a gem.

I’ve had everything on this truck’s menu and most of the specials. I’ve never been disappointed.
The brussels sprouts, smoked cherry wings, avocado salad, and bifteki pita stand out from the rest. They are spectacular. You also can’t go wrong with the chicken pita, gyro, or the pork sticks. And always get the oregano fries.
The truck is on Central Ave during lunch hours and down by the Yonkers waterfront (Hudson Park apartments across from the train station) for dinner on Tuesdays. Don’t miss it!

Their food is DEE-​LICIOUS! My husband and I ordered 2 chicken pitas and we shared oregano fries and Brussel sprouts with feta. I was very impressed, everything was so fresh and tasty. They are also very accommodating, I called them about ½ hour before they were going to close and they took my order over the phone. Also, you know how sometimes certain places give you the bottom of the barrel left over junk that they don’t sell when they’re about to close? Well this wasn’t the case for them. I had lefteryis within the past week and there’s no comparison, I’ll pick this truck any day. This is going to be my new spot, I’m so glad that they were on Alexander st until 8 because i could never make it on time to central, so that was a nice little treat. I look forward to trying other things on the menu

We had seen this truck on Central Ave several times and due to Unilocal reviews decided to give it a try on Sunday. So glad we did! Unilocalers were right once again. The chicken pitas were so good, chicken was fresh and cooked just right. Food was wrapped perfectly for eating on the go and the oregano fries were tasty and not soggy. If you see this food truck and want to try something different and «healthier» than the usual places around pull up behind it and give it a try. I’ll definitely stop if I see it again to try some other items on their menu!

What’s not to love about a food truck? Great prices. Good food. And… The people here are pretty cool! Cherry wings were a hit.

Best Food truck in Westchester hands down! I consider myself a foodie (food lover) who isn’t right? And I always look for new things to try… I’m glad I found out about this food truck! The chicken pita and Brussel sprouts will never disappoint! Always my go to when I’m out and about and am craving some food goodness:)

Wow the food here is really good! We went with a pork and a chicken souvlaki plate. Absolutely stellar! The meat was cooked perfectly and the seasoning was aggressive and delicious. Loved the oregano fries too. Also comes with a stack of pita and feta topped salad. $ 12 for a huge meal… great value.
