I stopped here for one night on the way to Colorado, and another night on the way back home. Each time, the manager checked me in, who was very kind and professional(he remembered me on my second night, which made me feel welcomed). The lobby is beautiful for a Days Inn, and everything was clean. The breakfast area is decent-sized, with the normal offerings(muffins, toast, cereal, coffee, juice). Two notable exceptions: there were microwaveable omelettes, which were pretty good, but there were no bagels during either of my stays. Also, I could find no tea, but that’s not a big hardship. The vending area was average, with a snack machine, pop machine, ice machine, and a coin-op washer/dryer. I did not go into the pool, but it looked normal enough – and there were two pool toys, which is something that I have yet to see at any other hotels during my stay! :) I stayed in the same room both times, which was on the first floor and near the breakfast room. My nights were quiet, and the room itself was clean. The bed was comfortable, and I was provided with the standard amenities(shampoo, lotion, shower cap, etc). This hotel has AMAZING Wi-Fi! I do a lot of work while I’m traveling, and I had no trouble working while using this hotel’s Wi-Fi. I was very pleased with this, and it’s one of the main reasons why I chose this hotel on the way back home. Pros: Excellent Wi-Fi, clean and comfortable rooms, friendly manager and staff, easy location right off of 80. Cons: No bagels or tea for breakfast. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who’s stopping in the York area! And if you’re in the mood for pizza, the Pizza Hut delivered me probably one of the best take-out pizzas I’ve ever had. Stop in at the Days Inn, order a pizza, and relax from the boredom of I-80!

The manager was very rude and rolled his eyes at me when i tried to switch out of a smoking room into a non smoking room. He had an attitude and refused to let me switch rooms. On top of his rudeness the room was very unsanitary and looked like it had not been cleaned in months. The sheets are yellow. Ive stayed here many times and never had an issue with the previous manager. I plan on checking out early and switching hotels for my last night here in York and dont plan on ever coming back.

We stayed here one night on the way to Colorado. The staff was very friendly. No one was at the lobby but came right away when we called as instructed. The room was a decent size and the bathroom was small but it was clean and the beds and pillows were clean and comfortable. The temperature in the room was comfortable and the TV, fridge and everything worked. Bathroom had a heating lamp. Problem was that the kids wanted to go swimming. It was freezing in there. I was wearing my sweats while the kids were swimming in the heated pool. I noticed that the windows would not close all the way and that you could see outside. Steam was in the air and they had a chair propping open the pool door. Not a good thing in Dec. with snow on the ground while in Nebraska. The chairs and tables in there were dirty too. I felt like I had to clean them off. Breakfast was your typical bagel, cereal, make your own waffle, danish fare without any hot entrée like a sausage, eggs, etc. Over all it was what we needed since we just had to get some sleep on our way to another place and the kids did burn off some energy in the pool. They did freeze a little when they got out! Given that they are a little older, they just built up some character!
