Cross Fit Athletic Performance has changed my perspective on exercise. I no longer see exercise as a grueling task. They encourage you to challenge yourself and make a healthy life change. I have lost weight, built muscle, set healthy goals for myself and feel amazing! It’s like a family; everyone is supportive and motivates one another. Best gym in town!

This is an updated review. I love CrossFit in Yorktown. The workouts are brutal, but a few days after I have recovered, I feel awesome! No really, I usually feel awesome right after the workout… or at least after the nap after the workout. I’ve never been in better shape in my life(having now done it for 7 months). Glenn is a slave driver with a heart. He’ll let you lift a lighter weight, etc. The other people who lead classes are equally cool and compassionate. Recently they’ve been organizing fun extra curricular activities such as paddle boarding. I have yet to go on one of these excursions due to a busy life, but I look forward to trying one soon. If you are debating trying this place out I have only one thing to say to you: go for it!

The owners are personal trainers — they modify for your level and encourage you. The workouts are so challenging. Not your average 12 minute crossfit workout. Average length is 40 mins. Every level. You can start with a plastic hollow pvc pipe if you want. I couldnt even run when i first started and the progress ive made in 7 months is amazing. And the workouts challenge you to keep progressing and do the best you can in every workout Not to mention the comraderie of all of the members.
