Love the selection of fresh produce and more, and right by the Post Office, where I go every day, anyway. I highly recommend Diversity Jams and the honey stand. If you’re on food assistance, be sure and hit the SNAP booth, first, you’ll get everything you need if you take out only $ 10-​$ 15.

the farmer’s market was my savior when i lived in ypsi. i don’t know how i would’ve made it if i didn’t have the weekly fresh cheese, root vegetables for my fresh autumn ratatouille, or organic meat (my first experience with whole rabbit was at this farmer’s market, oh yeaaa) waiting just a short walk from my apartment.
did i forget to mention the fresh fruit? i miss you, ypsi farmer’s market!

Even this early in the season, there is some wonderful stuff to be found at the downtown Ypsi farmers market. Notably, the delicious honey from Fairview Farms and the spectacularly good baked goods from the wonderful Miss Maggie, whose oatmeal spice cake is not to be missed. There are also fresh organic eggs – chicken and duck.
It’s my first season in Ypsi, and I’m hoping that there will be more produce as the season progresses, but the Swiss chard I bought last week was so sweet and fresh and delicious!

Nothing like fresh fruit and veggies from local vendors! And the single-​serve pies could be called criminal[ly awesme]!!!
I love the creative repurposing of a brewery, too. Love that the Corner Brewery partners with the DYFM (and Growing Hope!) and continues the fresh food season by another couple months in the wintertime!
All around greatness!

The Downtown Ypsilanti Farmer’s Market is a great source for local, healthy, delicious produce and other food items, as well as plants, hand-​made crafts, and much more!
I have been a customer for the past 3 years and the market’s convenient location and reasonable prices from vendors have made it much easier to get fresh, seasonal, local produce!
