I work down the road & we often order delivery from Happy’s. They always accommodate us and can rely on good service & food that pleases everyone! Yesterday, I ordered a pizza at 10:30am but didn’t need it delivered until 11:45. They were right on time and the order was correct. Admittedly, not the best food I’ve had in my life, which is expected from any pizza chain, but it is great for what it is!

I don’t understand all of the bad reviews for this place because I’ve never had a bad experience. And believe me, I’ve ordered my fair share. I’ve probably ordered your fair share too. They’ve made this whole«diet» thing more difficult than I intended. It’s quite the battle between Happy’s and Jet’s for the supreme honor of being called my favorite pizza place. But seeing as how Happy’s delivers here and Jet’s doesn’t, I think we have a winner.

I’ve never had a problem with the pizza here, I generally run in and pick it up myself and the pizza is always hot and fresh with a friendly staff. However, I would not recommend venturing much further into the rest of the menu. The chicken is dry and bread is thrown on top of it in the container making it soggy and inedible. I thought maybe I just got an old batch but the next time it was the same thing, dry, tough chicken that left much to be desired.

I am waiting for delivery and it’s been an hour.(they said 35 mins) and I started to read reviews! I should have read before but friend wanted this place! Wish me good luck when they finally do arrive! Call back after 70 minutes and politely asked if food was on way and some rude punk got mouthy. This place SUCKS

Thin crust«everything» pizza is the bomb! Finally, a crispy crust that doesn’t wilt under the weight of the toppings! The sauce at Happy’s is my favorite, too– nice and zesty with a little spice. The 2 for 10 deal is a godsend in the land of overpriced pizza. Yes please!

DONOTORDERFOODFROMTHESEGUYS!!! Seriously all the pizza I ordered was smashed so we essentially got half the pizza we paid for. It was over an hour and a half to get a delivery. When I called about the issues the owner was not sympathetic and in fact was a dick about it. No remedy was offered other than waiting another hour and half to get more pizza and we couldn’t eat what was previously delivered. These guys are a joke and don’t deserve to deliver pizza in Ann Arbor. Will never order Happys again and I suggest you don’t either.

Just got delivery. Large pizza with ham and pineapple and an order of bread sticks. I got out of work, starving. My boyfriend and I are babysitting so we don’t want to go out. We tried the new location at 2997 Washtenaw Ave Ypsilanti, MI. Being new, we only expected good things. However: Boyfriend called in our order, was quoted 35 – 45 minutes. After 55 minutes had passed he called. «The driver has already left» he was told, nothing else, no apology. 20 minutes later our pizza FINALLY arrives. COLD. No apology or anything from the driver. I’m starving so I take it. I work at a pizza place in Ann Arbor that urges you to keep the pizza and will deliver a fresh one on top of that, so I thought keeping the cold pizza was appropriate. I couldn’t wait another minute to eat! We call the store who offers us store credit, I accept, thinking that was a fair deal. However, they gave an entire $ 2 in credit. I have never been so disgusted with a pizza place and customer service which lacked in every way possible. I’m out the money for the crappy pizza and the whopping $ 2 store credit I’ll never use there. However, this business is out of a customer. Much more should have been done for the customer and especially being a first timer there. If this is how they want to do business, I’d rather spend a little more and go somewhere else. To think I was going to hook up the driver’s tip and offer him a brownie, because I appreciate good service. If I had ANY service, that guys night would have been made.

I hate ordering food over the phone — especially pizza — when the person taking my order is rude or sounds rushed. I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by a friendly and efficient person(Joe2, according to my receipt) at Happy’s Pizza this evening. I’m typically indecisive and am a pain on the phone. I ask lots of questions and sometimes need recommendations or suggestions. Joe2 was extremely nice and patient, yet helped me move the process along(which was helpful). I ordered the«2 for $ 9.99»(two pizzas), shrimp, and a 2-liter. I was quite pleased with the shrimp. Both the breading and the inner goodness were delicious. I was impressed by how well-packaged the shrimp were to keep them warm. The pizzas were tasty. I ordered one with extra cheese and pineapple, and the other with green peppers and black olives.(I would’ve gotten mushrooms, but I read they are canned.) The crust– $.50 extra for garlic butter and Parmesan flavor– was very tasty and the cheese was yummy, as well. My only complaint was that the pizzas were a bit light on the sauce. As long as the good coupons keep on coming, I’ll keep going to Happy’s for cheap but tasty food, plus super service.

I can be a pizza snob. I love a nice homemade crust with unique toppings. But there are times when a inexpensive pizza with pepperoni is the only thing to fill my cravings. Since the new Asian Buffet restaurant in Ypsi is not open, we decided that pizza would fill the bill nicely. We had some coupons so we ordered 2 large pizzas, one with pepperoni and sausage and another with sausage and black olives; butter/parmesan crust on each. Not bad, not bad at all. Much better than the«other guys» down the block. These pizzas had lots of toppings and the flavor was just right. Also ordered some wings with honey barbecue sauce. Of course they weren’t traditional wet wings, but they were slightly breaded and fried and then sprinkled with some sauce. I like these, much better than the slimy stuff that you get from many wing joints. Was it great pizza, no. Was it good pizza for the money, definitely. For $ 15.00 total we had 2 – 2 topping pizzas and a 10 piece order of wings. Friday night nirvana! I’ll probably check out Happy’s next time that we need a quick pizza fix.
