This is a great place to tan! Super clean! Awesome staff! Owner is amazing! Good deals on lotion and tanning packages too! I wouldn’t go anywhere else in the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti area! Ladies, make sure you are going to The Original Tanfastic and not«Tanfastic»(in Ann Arbor) two completely different places and two completely different owners.

I went in for a spray tan and was very impressed by the staff. They were genuine and friendly… the salon looks clean and while it is not the upscale spa that you might go for a faux tan, it was amazingly affordable and I was pleased with the results… I don’t know about the packages or the other services they offer but I do know I will return when I need a fake natural glow… thanks ladies!

I went there for their spray tans, not the UV beds. The first time I went, the woman answering the phone opened with a chipper«Welcome to Tanfastic, we’re open till te-en!». Well when I got there at 9:15 they were closed because on Fridays they close at 7. I raced over to their Washtenaw location, at 9:23, and the woman working there said they were«out of the tanning solution» they use but they would have more when they reopen at 9AM. No sorry, no nothing, and I have to say that sounds pretty fishy to me. I finally got my tan spray tan two days later when they were actually open and stocked — pretty good by the way. They were having a half off sale, and my friend asked me to buy her a session as well. Well, they wouldn’t sell me a gift certificate because«then you would have to pay full price», but I could put a tan credit on her account and she could use it within a year. Pretty retarded technicality if you ask me. Turns out my friend had already beat me to it and bought the tan credit, but the woman charging me for it said«oh it’s old, its from October 2007(no longer valid)» So she either LIED or made a mistake reading the monitor. In any case, after buying FOUR credits, one for my friend, and three for me, when I went back they wouldn’t transfer the fourth one over to my account(or give me a refund, so I just lost that money). They have NOSIGN in their store that indicates that they would be this rigid or unreasonable in this matter. Then their bimbo manager gave me some lecture about how it’s on the receipt(it’s not and I showed her. Then she got into an ARGUMENT with me about how it’s on the other receipt, not the credit card one but the store one that I never got(unbelievable!!!). Considering that this is regarding four credits for future tanning, and I was merely asking for them to transfer one that I bought for a friend to me so I could use it, I thought they acted in a completely unreasonable way that showed poor customer service. This would never go down like this in a mom and pop store, or dare I say even Wal-Mart or Target. At least they let you return things within 30 – 90 days. I don’t plan on returning after I’ve used my credits.
