I went right at opening time(10AM) and there was plenty of parking available. There was already a crowd of people waiting to get in as well, but once dispersed inside, you could hardly tell. I took my toddler. She loves the large animal and dinosaur displays they have above the book cases. The kids’ area is large and kept apart from the adult books and computer area. For those interested, they have a row of computer monitors with preloaded(I’m assuming, educational?) games. There is a kids’ play area with a small kitchen, puzzles, puppet animals and blocks. Decent size but with five + kids, I could see it getting very cramped easily. Nice selection of level 1 – 3 reading for independent reading, children’s books, and nonfiction. There is also a couple feet worth of bilingual /Spanish books available for children. I only saw one wall’s worth of higher reading level chapter books. I’ll have to utilize the search system to find titles like Boxcar Children or Goosebumps. While we were in today, we also noticed that they had the Scholastic book faire going on(until April 27). Great opportunity to purchase some very decently priced books and help support the library if you don’t have young ones in school yet where you could purchase from.

Great Library! The people who work here are always so friendly and some I have gotten to know on a first name basis so that when I walk in I am greeted by name. My only complaint is that those using the computers are loud and annoying, making and taking cell phone calls and talking well above a whisper. Worse is that nobody who works there will approach these people to remind them they are in a library. On the good side this library is nice and spacious with several places to hook up your own computer or nice areas to sit and read. They have a great children’s section with a large selection of books, several computers and a really nice play area. I highly recommend this library!

Quiet place. Unsually quiet. Can’t remember it being this quiet since 2006. Must be the advent of new technologies. Lol. But yeah. Nice library. Lots of DVD choices to rent. Fairly cheaper than RedBox. :) hint hint.

It’s a good library; a good size, good amount of computers(and no wait for every time I’ve been there), the self-check out is super handy and quick, and decent selection of books. The children’s section is cute and they have the usual story time and other kid’s activities. It gets busy in the afternoon(school kids doing homework) and at night(no idea why, lots of adults). During the day there is the usual assortment of smelly homeless people and old lonely people that come to read the newspaper. I come in here on a regular basis(every 2 – 3 days) to check out a book and return the one I’ve just read, but I don’t really like hanging out here because of the aforementioned smelly people, the abundance of people who reek of cigarettes and the plethora of children being tutored in Spanish(they can get loud) and they take up a lot of seats after school. The computers can be laggy so I wouldn’t come here to use a computer unless I really really had to, but I see lots of students(children and adults) doing homework or online classes on them, so I guess it’s not that bad. BTW: the kid’s section has kid’s computers. They don’t let you take home the magazines and they make you pay to check out the dvds.(at the library I used to go to, they were free).
