I bought my bike here years ago and I got hit by a car just a couple weeks after I bought my bike, the same guy that sold me my bike (the owner or manager I think) totally fixed my bike including my insanely bent front rim without having to replace anything. And he didn’t charge me a dime because he covered it under my first free tune-​up. Still have my bike, it’s about due for a tune up again, and I still ride it all the time. I would recommend this place to anyone, they are great.

This is an awesome store ran by very knowledgable people, I would recommend this bike shop to anyone in the market for a new bike or if you are interested in getting into riding.
I really like the fact that the customer service is always top notch and always the same faces.
Stop by and pay a visit even if you are just trying to get a little knowledge. i guarantee you will not regret it.

I came to look for a bike here and then at the shop on the other side of town and the customer service at Vans was way better compared to the other. Taylor assisted me with the bikes and I was able to test ride without feeling rushed and was able to actually get a feel if I wanted the bike. He never sounded irritated when I asked questions about accessories or talked about the qualities I liked or didn’t like with some bikes and he was patient. I wanted to add fenders so he did that and added a basket and water holder so the next morning they texted me letting me know when it was finished. I was in love with the service and my bike and I couldn’t be happier with choosing Vans.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff, good selection of gear for all kinds of bikes. Brought in an old BMX bike in need of upgrades and they offered their opinion on parts and how to do it myself — didn’t pressure to up-​sell on parts or labor. Store was very clean and well organized. Refreshingly good experience, and I would recommend this shop for your business.

How’s this possible? Not aggressive in selling while having a top notch customer service.
This store simply gives what you want from a bicycle store.
I bought my road bike here and it came with one free bicycle tune up that was valid for a year. When I needed for a tune up, it had already passed a year and a half but they were courteous enough to give it to me anyways.
Everytime I visit here, I come out with satisfaction, even when I didn’t purchase anything. The owner is awesome. The skinny white young male has an outstanding customer service skills. Hands up for Van’s.
I like this place a lot.

I’m a beginner road cyclist and came in with a specific budget & brand in mind. Not only did they listen to what I was looking for they were very friendly, helpful, and followed my requests to a T. They answered all the questions I had and didn’t try to up-​sell me on a higher end model like most salesmen would. They were family friendly & not at all over-​bearing. Family & locally owned & military friendly. I will be going to Vans exclusively for all my cycling needs.

I went in for a bike tuneup for a Schwinn that I thought was in pretty poor condition. I planned on them telling me that the bike was a lost cause, but they actually informed me on how the bike was easily tuned, and just have a few minor problems. I couldn’t be happier with this experience. If you are unsure what bike shop to start giving your business to, this is it.

Just stopped by Van’s today (had $ 80 in gift certificates to spend). WOW, as an avid cyclist, I’ve been to my share of bike stores… I was SUPER IMPRESSED by how friendly these folks were, and how helpful! They had the perfect combination of selection, and «small town» attentiveness. Will DEF be back!!!

I really like Van’s. After being in and out of City Bicycle Works (Sacramento) for nearly 8 years with no real loyalty established, I really appreciate the personal attention at Van’s. I go in, I ask for what I need and it’s in my hands within minutes. They seem to care about instilling a love of bikes in my kids and have helped with helmet fitting for the little noggins. We have purchased 3 bikes here now, and have had more than a few opportunities for servicing the bikes we already have. I have had plenty of chances to be made to feel dumb going in to get bike stuff for my hubby, but these guys always help me figure out what I need. I have seen a few reviews on here that conflict with the consistently good service, attention and selection my whole family has gotten at Van’s. Go see for yourself… they’re good people.

Just bought a Trek mountain bike from Van’s. This is the fourth bike our family has bought in the last 21 years from them. We keep going back because their service is great, the sales people are extremely knowledgable, they take the time to find out your needs and show you a range of possibilities explaining all the pros and cons, and the pricing is fair. They set me up with a nice deal.
They’ve been around a long time, the shop is nicely updated, clean and organized. The repair fees are very reasonable.

I bought my first road bicycle here. It’s a Trek. It was entirely worth the purchase. It’s hard to find a Trek anywhere under $ 1000 yet I did it here. And it was so easy. There’s a good selection of bikes. Pretty good accessories and apparel. It’s a good shop.

This is bike heaven! The best and most beautiful bikes I have ever seen are at this location. I was just in here yesterday looking for a pet basket for my cruiser, the two gentlemen that were working are super friendly and helped me find the perfect basket for my dog. The basket I purchased was only $ 20 and it is such great quality. Any additional bikes or bike accessories that I need I will definitely come here.
