Daylight Donuts

It seems like all the donut shops have the same donuts. They all taste the same, like they get the donuts frozen and bake them. So, I mistakenly thought this was just another average donut place with the same average tasting donuts.
The building itself is nothing fancy and the long johns are average and they don’t have real Boston cream filled donuts (but most places don’t because they don’t know the difference between Boston and Bavarian cream). They filled a long john with a vanilla custard. It was your average cream filled donut with chocolate glaze but it had that same donut taste all the other donut places have.
The apple fritters are the best I’ve had. They have plenty of large pieces of apple and are bursting with flavor. They actually have the right amount of cinnamon in them. The cinnamon rolls are really good also. They’re cute too; they are cut and shaped like a flower. I’m eager to go back to try other donuts!
