Pro: Easier to navigate than Hobby Lobby and much much less religious paraphernalia. Con: Rather meager selections of things not fabric based. If you’re looking for just, say, a bag of loose rhinestones to get your 80’s-Bedazzling party on, look elsewhere. Also, as the previous reviewer stated, it’s neigh impossible to find hairpieces. I’d recommend sticking to fabrics for Hancock and outsource to Dollar Tree for things like fake flowers and Hobby Lobby or JoAnne’s for the sparkly stuff and hardware you need for your project. Pro: Their sale pile of fabric usually turns up something worthwhile. Con: Their button selection is rather one note. If you want something that you can turn into like a brooch, etc., pretty much all you’ll see is cute little duck buttons or big wooden things. Pro: Quiet tables to sit down and go through the pattern catalogs. Con: Sometimes it takes awhile for them to cut your fabric. However, they’re always pretty speedy once they make it over to you. Pro: You can solidify your craft idea in the store based on the merchandise available. Con: Sometimes that means that you only see the finished product, like a purse, but are unable to find the actual products needed to make it yourself.

I went in here on 11÷11÷11 looking for faux flowers to make a hair accessory. No luck, they don’t have any, save for a very small selection with the patches, beads and buttons. They have a large selection of all types of fabrics, batting and quilting products. They also have a small selection of home décor items at the front of the store. The store was dimly lit, which is a pet peeve of mine, busy and seemingly disorganized. Not my favorite.
