Precision Tune Auto Care

I have went here for years to get my oil changed! Even when I lived in Weatherford, I would get my oil changed at Precision in Yukon. GREAT customer service! The ladies up front always remember me by name, besides when they get me confused with my mother. Ha. I highly recommend it!

I was visiting Yukon from out-​of-​state, and staying with family. On the Saturday morning I was to leave town, my vehicle engine began to run erratic due to an electrical problem. My brother-​in-​law called around to several local shops and discovered that Precision was open. They close early on Saturday, but could get my car in for a last minute repair; no other shop was open or able to take the repair, which was odd.
So I drove my vehicle to Precision and they diagnosed the issue as a bad/​corroded crankshaft position sensor and quickly repaired it. Unfortunately, within an hour of leaving the shop, and just minutes away from getting on the freeway to drive the 1300 miles back home, my car died while idling in a fast food parking lot. I couldn’t get it restarted after many tries.
My meal now ruined, I had to get it towed back to my in-​laws house and impose on them for another 2 days because, by that point on Saturday afternoon, all local repair shops, including Precision, were closed and there were no shops open on Sunday — a business practice I find to be absolutely archaic! Sure, I could have towed my car to a Pep Boys somewhere in OKC, but I felt it was important to take it back to Precision where the original work was performed and paid for.
So, the following Monday I towed my car back to Precision for them to take a second look. I was there when their doors opened and they immediately diagnosed the problem: the new crankshaft sensor they installed was faulty. They replaced the sensor a second time without charge and I was on my way by noon! I’m glad to report it ran fine, though I didn’t dare turn the car off for the entire 20 hour drive home! (yes, it was on even while filling gas — I know, I know.)
Anyway, these guys were quite helpful and kind, and communicated well. I hope I never need their services again, but if I do, I know they guarantee their work. I only wish I would have seen their 10% off Unilocal coupon before writing this review.

I know many people have a hard time finding and trusting a mechanic, but may I suggest Precision Tune in Yukon.
We have been going there for years, and they have taken care of everything from oil changes to bigger issues. (I believe they will do most auto work except transmission, exhaust, and tires.) They even have a loyalty program where you can get a free oil change after so many paid oil services.
They have always been willing to explain repairs so I understand and do not make unneeded repair suggestions. On the rare occasion that they don’t get it right the first time, they always work with me to correct it on the second attempt.
If you live in the Yukon area, stop in to give them a try and say hi to Mil.
