Was very disappointed in the ribs very pricey and slightly tough he may want to think about cooking it a little slower and getting a better quality of meat very disappointed

Yummy food and an awesome selection of soft-serve ice cream flavors. The food is a little bit pricey but worth it. I normally just go for the ice cream because it’s THAT good.(:

Food may be good but beware. I may live a sheltered life but this is the first restaurant I’ve been to with no restroom for patrons.

Had a half rack of dry rubbed pork ribs. Smoked right in back of the restaurant. A bit dry, but still quite tasty — and real value for money. And how many BBQ joints can one find that also serves 20+ flavors of ice cream(it is a converted ice cream shop)? Very low key and authentic.

Ate here today for lunch, had the pulled pork sandwich, fries and a med. shake. It was great food and service. My son eats here often and raves how good it is. The portions are large and worth the price.

Excellent white BBQ sauce. Moist, tender pulled pork. Sweet slaw and potato salad. Good, firm potatoes. Worth the 1 mile drive off the interstate. Baked beans were almost like chili since they had hamburger meat in them – still good, though.

Passing through Ohio. Good BBQ find. Pulled Chicken was excellent, as was the white pepper mayo sauce for dipping. The cole slaw and beans were tasty as well.

We tried the brisket — very tender and flavorful. Pulled pork with the hogwash sauce was delicious and too much for me for lunch — reheated the rest for dinner. Loved the fried green beans but I would have liked a sauce to dip them in. Try this place the food is really good…

Not the kind of quality you’d expect from a place with a drive-up window. The pulled pork was great. There was a generous amount atop a cheap bun(bbq sauce on the side). The mac&cheese is strangely sweet but mysteriously good. Their slaw is good, crunchy & colorful. Definitely get the beans! Various types of beans cooked in a smokey peppered sauce with the added heartiness of ground beef. All the fried fair sampled(green beans & sweet potatoes) was good.

Cool little place in a old ice cream shop(yet they still have ice cream!)! I ordered the pulled pork, fried green beans and cole slaw. All were very good! The pork had a amazing taste with no sauce! But I am a condiment fan so I tried all three sauces — you can’t go wrong — all were very good! Hot(chipotle) — wasn’t extreme and was tasty! Hogwash — my favorite! Sweet was good too! The only things that it needed was ranch dressing for the fried green beans and the bun was really soggy from the meat(I wasn’t planning on eating the bun anyway so no loss!). Plus the staff was really nice and food came out quick. Def a great choice for BBQ in ZANESVILLE!

We were driving through Zanesville on a roadtrip, craving something not associated with a chain and came across Grillin Dave Style! They had a very impressive menu with something for everyone on it, whether you want bbq or not. We had the pulled chicken meal and brisket meal, which each came with two sides and a drink for a bargain $ 8.99. The portions were very generous and we had the sweet potato fries, onion rings, mac n cheese, and the beans… OHTHEBEANS!!! If I could do it all over again, I’d only order the beans, which have to be the best beans I’ve ever had. Drive through service was good too and we were happy we stopped!

First! Well… I have no idea how this lil gem doesn’t have any reviews, but here tis! Wow! BBQ heaven. This is worth the trip! The pork sandwich is ridiculously good. It’s seasoned perfectly, and cooked to perfection. Whatever spice run they use is spot on and compliments the meat. They offer 3 sauces, but heck — I honestly didn’t need them for anything. That being said, as an equal opportunity taster — I tried the«hogwash» sauce on my pork sandwich at the suggestion of my buddy Frankie. Yeah, so it was a perfectly blended sauce that complimented the meat as well. C’mon now — how does a place have a killer spice run AND a bad ass sauce?! Awesome. Next I got the fried bologna sandwich. Peppery, good crust, and a perfect treat. A must try — if you like fried bologna sandys. Lastly I tried the beef brisket sandy. I almost drove off the road, while spitting out my drink, and seeing unicorns. Dude, this beef brisket is legit. It’s amazing with the right fat content, perfect doneness and right spices. Slaw — it was good, flavorful, palate cleansing and chunky. Loved it as a break between each item. I’d throw it on a dog sometime too. Good stuff. Bottom line — make the trip to Zanesville Ohio for this lil slice of BBQ paradise!
