Love their wine… Staff was absolutely awful! Felt completely uncomfortable. Such a shame because their facility and wine was spectacular. Do not recommend this winery to anyone and wont return based on their customer service. Visit reflection, wineglass cellars or cultura if you want to feel special and valued. Not worth your time or money. Sincerely hope they hire more friendly staff!

Visited here for the first time, while doing a vineyard tour around Yakima. They have a wine tasting menu(6 samples for $ 5 per person). Since we are more white wine fans(Rieslings), we were told to visit here. The staff were ok, not as friendly or welcoming as other establishments. We did buy their Rose and a Riesling, but I wouldn’t be going back to visit for their hospitality. Cute place, nice grounds, not so friendly staff.

This was the winery we wanted to avoid because the last time we visited them the experince was not good. That unpleasent experience was still on our minds but unfortunatly we did not recall which winery it was untill we opened the tastingroom door. Same door that slams you and same calico counter. Last time we visited they charged a tasting fee. The wines were not flavorfull and somewhat acidic. We found one pricy ok bottle to buy but they would not give back the tasting fee(like all the other wineries do when you buy). We did not want the same unpleasnt experince so we said no thank you not today.

First comment for out-of-towners: they don’t ship.(However — and I’m going to do this next time — one can go to UPS or FED-EX and see if it’s cost effective to ship on your own.) Tastings: six wines for $ 5. To maximize your visit, you might want to split tastes with your companion and spend $ 10 for 12 tastes. I enjoyed the wines here. I enjoyed chatting with the woman proffering samples. I’m not a fan of sweet wine, but I tried several that I actually liked. Even bought a Riesling, which I’ve never done. Like other Zillah wineries, good value, very fair prices.

This is a very nice winery… nothing outstanding but always quality stuff. I never leave empty handed.

I am really surprised that this winery doesn’t have higher ratings. I had a hard time finding any of the wines I tasted that I DIDN’T like. My favorite thought was their Pinot Gris and their 09 Syrah. I got a bottle of each. We got here just in time before a larger crowd came through and I think the amount of people in the tasting room may have overwhelmed the staff a little bit. This is a great place for a picnic, they have beautiful grounds area and picnic tables in some shade. I would definitely recommend coming here and trying the wine. I have to agree that the customer service isn’t the best experience but I would hope people could look past that and just come what they came for — the wine. I think first impressions are key and this place definitely could use some improvements in that department.

The wines were average. The experience was uncomfortable. We walked in and greeted the woman behind the bar, because she wasn’t too excited about greeting us. We added the chatter. We asked about the tasting — because it wasn’t being prooffered. We reminded her about when we wanted to try the next drink because she was so busy with everything else but us. I think that would have been perfectly acceptable to me had she talked a bit as well, but she didn’t. A woman came in to pay a downpayment on the venue, and that meant we waited without drink while she muddled around with that. She wasn’t particularly pleasant or talkative, so I was happy when we were finished with our wine. She didn’t expect us to purchase any wine, so I didn’t. When I acted interested, it didn’t even phase her. Bleck.

Very cute winery, stunning views, great wine, and nice staff. I tried all of the white wine they had to offer, most of it is on the sweet side, but the Pinot Gris is amazing. If you are in need of something to store all of your wine corks, this is the place to go. They have very cute decorations that double as wine cork storage; very nice variety as well.

. If it wasn’t for Hyatt’s has beautiful scenery this would have been a pretty bad experience! I loved the windmill and that was pretty much it. As we walked into the tasting room we did not even get a Hello, Hi, or how are you today. We looked around at the retail merchandise then headed up to the bar. The women behind the bar then asked if we had passports and we said yes. She then started pouring. While she poured she never even looked at us. She told us what the wine was and then turned to get the next one. She was Not very friendly at all. I think she thought we weren’t the buying kind of people. Boy was she wrong. WE bought at several other wineries. Hyatt’s wines were ok. I would buy them in the store maybe but not at there tasting room. Mainly because of the crummy service. Maybe next time but it won’t be my first choice.

I first had a lovely crisp glass of the Riesling back in 2006 I was at Kramer’s a restaurant in Dupont Circle in Washington, DC… it made such an impression on me I took the information down with the intention of hunting for it here in California. So of course it is a Washington State wine and OFCOURSE they do not sell it here in California so the first year I ordered a case and they mailed it to me here. Then some BS with the distributor began and I couldn’t buy it any longer from the Vineyard itself. I literally had to bootleg it from my cousin who lives in Vancouver, Washington. Yes, this means I purchased it from Hyatt had them send it to my cousin(paid for that shipping) then my cousin shipped it out to me(paid for shipping again) GOOOODDLAAAAAWWWWRRDD! Then I clung to each and every bottle I had only bringing it out on special occasions. If you like a nice crisp Riesling with just a ‘touch’ of sweet that won’t give you a headache this is SPECTACULAR! If you can’t find it where you live my second choice is Firestone Vineyard Riesling… Every time I have called up to the Vineyards for assistance it’s maddening because they are very non-chalant about assisting me in my efforts to get this wine down here in California… I am not sure why that is as I would think it would be more sales for them =/ Respectfully Reviewed

Loved the 2011 Black Muscat! Really beautiful tasting room as well as a beautiful garden area to sit in and enjoy a glass of wine and olives! Really nice lady who helped us out — I really appreciate how she went to the back to find me toothpicks so we could eat our olives. It’s always nice when customer service goes beyond what is expected. It is the little things that count. Thank you Hyatt!
