This place is wonderful on so many levels. The Atmosphere it the best! It is an awesome barn, they have a cheese room that is beautiful and the light live music on the weekends is fantastic. I have never been disappointed by the restaurant, this is our go-to if we are wanting to get a nice meal and have a guaranteed great dinner. Their menu is always good and their local offers are fantastic.

First of all, how could I resist their Farm to Table set up and philosophy they practice at their LOFT. TPC is one of V and I’s all-time favorite restaurant in Indy; we love being greeted by green field, their newly renovated LOFT is beautiful and rustic, all in a rather quite environment away from the city center. I tasted their Beef Burger, Chicken, Lamb Chop, and more along with my absolute favorite Beets Salad. V and I love having our date nights to ourselves and/or with other couples /friends; we always have lovely time talking over their cheese boards and a selection of drinks. We’ve enjoyed their regular weekend dinner, Northside Nights’ menu, New Year’s Eve special course and more. Whenever I devour their dish, I’m reminded of how poorly I eat on daily basis because I’m tempted to add more condiments to them while they’re perfectly delicious as they are. In addition to their appetizers and mains, their Banana Split is truly divine. Finally, TPC has become our staple of dining out for their quality, environment and philosophy.

My wife and I recently scheduled lunch at «The Loft»(6−9−16). We went on a day that the weather cooperated, allowing us to sit out on the balcony and enjoy a great spring day while dining. Although we didn’t have reservations, we were seated promptly and without much delay, were brought water and asked about our beverage selections. We informed our waitress that we had about an hour before we needed to leave for another appointment, so we went ahead and placed our order for our meals at the same time. I selected the Lake Trout on a bed of millet and mustard aioli, along with asparagus, shallots, and almonds. The skin of the filet was crispy. The flesh of the filet was moist and tender. So, excellent marks for preparation. I also thought the flavors worked well together, although I am not a big fan of millet. Still, the food was served timely, and tasted delicious as well. I also ordered a bottle of Ginger Beer which was quite tasty. My wife ordered the house burger after ordering a root beer float. She liked both, but needed a «to go» box for the remaining half of her burger. She ordered the Kettle Chips as a side, but she wasn’t a fan of the salt and pepper flavor combination on the chips.(I tried them and found them quite good, but couldn’t get passed the notion of some other herbal taste there as well.) All in all, the service and food were good, but we didn’t have any«Wow!» taste moments, so that is the only reason I didn’t give a higher rating.

We came here for lunch a few weeks ago and we’re so happy we did. First impressions as you walk in, you get that this is an experience, not just a meal. The farm store with all the fresh food entices you to continue upstairs for the deliciousness that is to come. The menu is simple but complete. They had a few salads, a pasta and some burgers. Enough options for everyone, but not so overwhelming that you can’t make up your mind. Our table ordered mac n cheese, a burger and I hade a salad with chicken. All options were not disapointing! The portions were good sized and the food was fresh and delicious! My only complaint is that we didn’t have room for milkshakes! That just means we will have to come back for more! Oh — they do have a farmers market too — Fridays I think!

This is such a nice place and restaurant! We´ve been here a few times and every time managed to sit outside enjoying the good weather and closeness to nature. Service is great! For me the choice of what to eat is not easy. There are a number of things that always sound interesting and so far we´ve not been disappointed. We went here on a Wednesday evening and began the dinner by sharing a cheese board. Good cheeses but perhaps nothing wow(but, bear in mind, we are picky when it comes to cheeses). My husband then hesitated going for the pork or not, thinking that we can cook pork home whenever. But in the end, he went for the pork. The pork was from their own farm and that was what made him decide to go for it. And it was delish! Slowly cooked, just falling apart. Yum! I went for the vegetarian risotto, cooked with beets so the risotto was all pink :-) Tasted really nice too. Yet again a really nice dinner! We will certainly be back!

This place is INCREDIBLE! I spent a lovely spring evening at the Loft Restaurant which included dinner and drinks. I did not make a reservation(which I recommend), so when we arrived we had about an hour to wait until our table was ready. We went up to the bar and purchased a bottle of wine to enjoy while we waited. There were picnic tables scattered on the hill below the restaurant where we sat and had a glass of wine. There is also a picture perfect fire pit area just below the outdoor seating at the restaurant which we sat at after dinner. The restaurant itself is very picturesque as it is located in a restored barn with high ceilings. Our waiter was very nice and was very attentive throughout our meal. We started with the cheese plate which came with fig jam and honeycomb — simply delectable! I also had the potato soup and one of the spring green salads. My husband had the steak with mashed potatoes which he really enjoyed. Of course, we had to have dessert with ice cream since we were at the Trader’s Point Creamery restaurant! Let me tell you, we were not disappointed. The pecan pie a la mode was the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. It is safe to say that we will be back to the Loft Restaurant. There is a private event area up above the main dining area which you can reserve. It includes a large table(seats 12?), a fire place, a small bar, and a lounge area. A very lovely space that we are hoping to incorporate into future family events.

My wife and I went here for a romantic night while visiting Indy for the weekend and it was the perfect place. Everything is sourced either on site or locally. I couldn’t believe how knowledgeable our waitress was from where the ingredients came from to how the cheeses were aged. Obviously try the cheeses and ice cream since they have a creamery on site.

Cheese plate is a must. We have been for the Dairy bar and for brunch. It’s a beautiful location and the food is wonderful. Locally sourced and much of it is from the Traders Point Dairy farm.

I cannot begin to describe the wonderful experience I had here Easter weekend. The food was impeccable and was made with such finesse that you’d expect to it to be in a fancy fine dining restaurant, not on a farm! I love the concept of farm to table and The Loft delivers. On Easter they offered a special menu. My date and I ordered the cheese plate to start. Not only did this board have flavorful cheeses on it, it also had spreads, jams, and a perfect piece of raw honeycomb with honey dripping all round it. The honeycomb paired perfectly with most of the cheeses, and even with just jam! The toast that they provide for the board is from Amelia in Fletcher Place and cannot be beat! For my drink, I ordered a pomegranate mimosa which was great! The right amounts of tartness from the pomegranate and effervescence from the champagne. My entrée was a lovely rabbit dish with candied carrots and a split pea falafel. Not a huge fan of peas, but that falafel was smashing! The rabbit itself was soft, tender, and melted in just the right way. The carrots were almost like a dessert — a great amount of sweetness to level out the dish. If I could order this regularly, I would! Dessert ended with a key lime pie and lavender lemon ice cream. The key lime pie was a great balance of sweet and tart, with crunch from the crust and crumbs on top. Nevertheless, my all time favorite part of the meal was the lavender lemon ice cream. I expected the flavor to be overwhelmingly lemon(which I wouldn’t have minded) but they made this very much a fresh lavender ice cream. Imagine the floral scent of lavender trapped in a creamy, perfectly churned ice cream with a splash of lemon juice to brighten the taste that much more. I will gladly return to The Loft when I am in the area!

Fun spot. Probably can only do it once per quarter with the rich dairy but I liked it. I had grilled cheese and wife had the cheeseburger. Enjoyed the ambiance and the freshness of the food. For what it is it is great but definitely not a frequent spot

I visited the Loft at Traders Point Creamery on a rainy Friday afternoon in April with a coworker. We arrived a little before noon and were greeted warmly by a hostess at the top of the stairs who offered us a seat in the main dining room or on the enclosed heated deck. We sat on the deck and each picked a glass of wine. They have a good selection of wines by the glass and offer a generous pour. Our server shared today’s specials and the daily soup options. I decided on a cup of potato leek soup to accompany the smoked salmon spring panzanella salad. The soup was hot, smooth and had a fresh oniony leek zing that was really enjoyable. Next came a beautifully composed salad with a surprising amount of color on the plate. Thin slices of house made hay smoked salmon were draped like ribbons on top a salad of crusty bread, spicy radish, red onions and shaved asparagus tossed in a light herb vinegrette. The salad was dolloped with creamy fromage blanc and a beautiful ruby beet picked egg sliced in half. The flavors were as bright as the colors and I love that everything but the salmon was local. My friend from work had the chicken wrap with house made cottage cheese, and she really liked her meal. It was her first time at Traders Point Creamery Loft. This is my favorite spot near the office to have a really amazing healthy meal. I will be back soon for the great service and the fresh seasonal farm to table menu.

Came in last Saturday right as they opened and had a great lunch with my little family! Wish they had brunch available on Saturday as well as Sunday but the lunch was great! Our little is still at the point where she just samples our meals but she was a huge fan of the Mac n cheese! Loved offering her a farm raised meal! We will definitely be back and plan for more time to tour the farm.

What a lovely place! I had read a few reviews, but that still didn’t prepare me for everything going on here. We drove a good distance from downtown for brunch on Easter day. This is a real, working creamery, so there are various animals(and animal-related smells). The«campus» is lovely, and I can definitely imagine going back for some live music on a warmer night to sit in their«patio» area. There were chicks to pet and hold, which was kind of adorable. It also meant we got to see the red barn, which looks like a great area to hold an event. Onto the dining experience. We were seated promptly thanks to our reservation through OpenTable(the hostess confirmed the day before). Our server was attentive and friendly. We started with a cheese board($ 16, I think). It comes with toasted, crunch Amelia’s bread. The cheese featured included two of their house-made fromages(basically a scoop of soft, spreadable cheese), a small slice of brie, and two other cheeses that were a bit stronger(can’t remember quite what there was, but I know one was a beer cheese). They were all quite tasty! It also came with a piece of honey comb, which was amazing with the brie, and some kind of fig preserve, which I did not like too much. Because we had indulged ourselves with the amazing cheese board(totally a must-order!), we went light for our actual entrée — we split a frittata, which was as big as a plate and easily split between the two of us. It was topped with some feta. I didn’t love it, but that was probably just due to taste — my boyfriend really enjoyed it. We also got a side of bacon, which was perfectly crispy and delicious. And since we were indulging already, and it was our first visit, we went all out and each got a milkshake made with the Creamery’s milk! He opted for wildberry and chocolate, and I got plain chocolate. Just perfectly creamy and great flavor! Another highly recommended order. Overall, it was a great, leisurely brunch! I would definitely go back.

This was one of our first nice dinners in Indy and we were delighted with our experience. Great food. Great service. Our table shared the cheese board as a first course. I had the pork loin with Brussel sprouts and butternut squash. And wrapped up the evening with carrot cake and ice cream. Delicious all around! I look forward to returning in nicer weather. I also look forward to buying cheese from the dairy’s store.

Where do I begin? On a Friday morning, my husband was working out while watching the local news and he noticed his favourite yoghurt, Traders Point Creamery, was being featured. The newscaster went on to do a piece about the resto associated with the Traders Point Farm. We wasted no time and hightailed it that Sunday for brunch. So glad we did! After a lovely drive we started with the cheese board that included local honeycomb, fig jam and a variety of cheeses. For breakfast we shared the Traditional Benedict and the Chilaquiles Verdes. Both were spectacular. When I saw a five year old at a neighboring table get a glass of Chocolate Milk, well, my inner child just had to have one too! Everything was just so delicious. The waiter took time to explain the history of the resto and the philosophy of the farm. He went into detail on his favourite dishes and we took both of his suggestions! :) I can’t wait to go back and order the grits, Hoosier Momma Bloody Mary, and the Sausage and Gravy. Oh, and the Beignets! Basically I want to try everything on the menu! And, I want to go there for lunch and dinner… worth the time, the drive and the money! We will be back!

Very cool setting(which I’m sure you can read about in other reviews). I and some friends stopped in out of the blue and ended up partaking in the Devour Indy menu. Everything was terrific, and the beef – from the farm – was tender and tasty. The only sticking point was that I asked the waiter for change when I paid, and he brought back only large bills, so I had to give him a few more dollars in tip than I otherwise would have. First time I’ve had a server do that, and it seemed a bit presumptuous on his part.

Was our first time there … We found it on Unilocal. Was worth the drive from butler university. We started with the cheese board … The fig was so good. Too bad they didn’t have any to purchase in the store. All the cheeses were great as well as the honey. I had a couple bloody Mary’s … Spicy and delish. My date had one of the local bears … Ok two of them. Again. Great. We enjoyed the salmon salad and chicken sandwich. Really good. Too full for desert … We plan to come back in the summer.

What a wonderful atmosphere! It’s like this farmland oasis in the middle of sprawling metro-Indy. We went to celebrate a birthday and it was the perfect place. The cheese board appetizer had a good variety and was pretty fun to share. In addition to fromage, it had fresh local honey and fig jam. The entrees all looked amazing and everyone had positive things to say. In particular the grass-fed beef, the pasta, salads and sides were raved about. The server was attentive and offered on point suggestions for wine pairings($ 15 off bottles that night so why not?). Of course we all got dessert — I had ice cream, the spouse got a big olé glass of milk, someone else got carrot cake and another person got a milkshake. Again, all great. The ice cream was creamy and the perfect way to end a fabulous meal — even if I was pretty stuffed at that point. This would be a good location for: –Taking an out-of-town client –A date or anniversary dinner –Birthdays, other special occasions, girls night Probably my favorite place I’ve been for supper since moving to the area. I plan to return in the daylight to enjoy the farm.

I had dinner at the loft in March and it was one of the best meals I have had all year. I recently brought a friend back for lunch and had another great experience. I don’t think it’s possible to have a fresher cheese board in Indy. I had the grilled cheese with mushrooms. Apparently I didn’t get enough cheese during the first course. The service was excellent and genuine at both visits. The venue is one of the coolest places you can eat in Indy. I would gladly bring any out of town guest here. A Zionsville gem!

Going to The Loft at Traders Point is not just a meal, it’s an experience. We went on a Tuesday evening for my birthday. I knew this place was special but I didn’t know that they went above and beyond on everything from their ingredients to preparation to service. The staff worked with my boyfriend as he planned a super surprise evening for me and 10 of my friends. They were incredibly patient with our large, talkative group and we were never rushed or ignored. Our server was very informative guiding us through the menu and the local sources for their ingredients from their own backyard to the local bakers. Our glasses were alway filled and she even kept our Cheese Board filled with warm Amelia’s bread. The Cheese Board is a must have. More than enough to share with 4 people. The honey from an Anderson farm, still with the comb, was remarkable in flavor and texture and highlighted the various featured cheeses well. I had the Scallops with smoked corn purée, blueberry chow-chow, black tomatoes, sunflower seedlings, jalapeño hot sauce. It was the perfect amount of heat and the sweet-smokiness of the corn balanced well. My partner had the grassfed steak, cooked medium, herb fromage mashed potatoes, preserved mushrooms, béarnaise butter. The dish was cooked perfectly but was light on the mushrooms, which I understand since most people aren’t fungi fans. The Loft is charming with a warm, welcoming ambiance. We even got to watch the rotation of the aging cheese in the main dining room. The accessible parking lot and entrance is on the back of the building giving you direct access to the second floor dining area. What a wonderful evening made even more special by the great food, venue, service and attention to detail by the staff. My boyfriend bought a dozen cupcakes from The Flying Cupcake(my favorite). While some restaurants and kitchens aren’t too welcoming to outside food, the staff at The Loft not only helped him ‘smuggle’ in the treats without my knowledge, they also plated them beautifully with ice cream and presented to me. I felt so special and it was such a nice gesture. We will definitely be here again and I will keep The Loft on the top of my list for large groups or events.
